Sea Pirate Condo #7, located at 3301 Gulf Drive in the heart of Holmes Beach is just across the street from the tropic teal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Situated in a much desired area, close to shopping and restaurants, this smaller complex features a large heated pool, on site coin operated laundry facilities and enclosed private patio for each unit.

Sea Pirate #7 features two bedrooms and one bath and sleeps six with a full size bed, two twin beds and air mattresses. The spacious living room features a 38" television. The large fenced patio features a charcoal grill and ample seating for a quiet evening after a day at the beach.

Sea Pirate is a one week minimum rental.

Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property

Perfect vacation spot

We love the location!! The apartment was beautiful decorated. The owner/management was very responsive. This place has become our favorite vacation spot!!

Yearly trip to AMI

We stay in the area couple times a year and found this great two bedroom place with a pool. Great location, inviting and quiet. Beach is just across the road for quick walk to watch sunsets and enjoy beach time. Waking distance to grocery store and other restaurants. Will defiantly be back again.

Little jewel on Ana Maria Island

My family and I had a great time ant pirate 7. It super close to the beach( just across where we were). The place had everything we need and some more. Super quiet and a pool to go on the end of the day. Thank you !!

Great location and fit for a family of 5.

Perfect condo for a family of 5. Convenient location to the beach and local shops. We brought our bikes, which made exploring the island super convenient because we didn’t have to mess with island traffic. The only changes that we feel that need to be made would be for the condo to have a gas grill instead of a charcoal and the pool needs updated lounge chairs, several of the chairs are ripped. Overall, our family would stay again if we were visiting the island.

Across the street from the beach. Great little patio Beach chairs a wagon miscellaneous beach toys Great little cool outback. It was quiet you got a store two blocks away coffee shop café drugstore. Everything will Try to stay here on call visits when available.

Girls Trip

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Sea Pirate 7. The cottage was clean, equipped with chairs and an umbrella with a cart to transport everything to the beach. We were a bit disappointed the cottage wasn’t directly on the beach but is only about 125 feet. If this is your first time visiting the area pick up informational materials at the information desk at AMI Information desk by the Cafe on Holmes Beach.

Cute spot near the beach

The condo has cute decor and is in an adorable ‘Old Florida’ style building. Great location within walking distance to multiple beach access points and a beach bar. The provided beach equipment was great! WiFi speeds and a desk in the second bedroom supported two of us working remotely all day. The living room furniture inside should be replaced as we found the chair bottom to be broken and the couch to be stained. This is a great stay for a couple or a small family and I would love to stay again!

It was very clean and had an equipped kitchen. They also offered good quality beach chairs. The only thing I would suggest is replacing the carpet for tile. The other units have tile and carpet and the beach don't mix well.

Needs some love

3 dead roaches in floor upon arrival. Also dirt on bedding and counter tops. Ants in the kitchen. The recliner had black tape holding it together underneath. This could be a really nice little cottage if some updating was done like the neighboring cottages. Will stay Somewhere else next time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed Sea Pirate 7. The location at Holmes Beach was perfect to an across the street path to the beach, walking distance to the trolley and a 2minute drive to Walgreens/Publix. The condo was clean and efficient. We enjoyed the pool. The week was affordable too. Would definitely try to book Sea Pirate 7 again! My only suggestion would be is to advise the renters of the beach amenities that were available for use. There were loungers, chairs, umbrellas and a buggy for use. We had rented those items ahead of time and wouldn’t have if we knew about them.

We had a wonderful vacation, AMI is perfection We felt this location was great and awesome access to the beach, our area was not crowded. The condo common areas were fabulous including the pool. We felt this condo could use some updates but for the price it was as expected. It did seem the rental agency is a little confused on some of their directions on items. I asked about beach equipment and was told there were chairs, we arrived to find chairs. Wagon, floats, umbrellas, etc. The code for entry I was given on the rental agency’s app was incorrect and I had to call. We couldn’t get access to wifi and I again asked and was given the same code I had already indicated from the app that was incorrect. (We later found all the info on the side of the fridge) It was a fabulous vacation and we would stay here again just for the location and beach access convince.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this property on AMI is perfect. Close to the beach, restaurants, and groceries and other conveniences. The pool area is nice and very family-friendly. The check-in and check out process were seamless. Unfortunately we had a few issues inside the condo. The oven wasn’t working and generated a gas smell in the unit when turned on. The property management company was contacted immediately and never replied to our inquiry for service. The unit could also use more of a deep clean. Lastly, the back door is adjacent to the neighboring property pool area and the group there during our stay was quite loud in the evenings, which disturbed our sleep.

Great location!! A couple negatives

This location is right across the street from an entrance to a quiet part of the beach. With 4 kids, it was super easy to walk to the beach and spend the day. Also, the pool on the property was perfect, my kids were in it for hours every day. We enjoyed that the property had a wagon for us to haul supplies to the beach, and even a few beach toys for the kids. We enjoyed the patio daily with a grill for dinner. The big negative was that there was an obvious water damage area with mold growth on the ceiling in the living room. No one wants to get sick on their vacation and unfortunately this effected a couple of us negatively. The rental is really made for 4 guests. The 5th & 6th are supposed to sleep on air mattresses, which would have been fine for 2 little boys except that one of them ended up deflating by morning. There also was not appropriate bedding for both air mattresses, only a sheet set for 1. One other negative was that there were ants in the kitchen . Do not let any food sit out for any amount of time or else a train of them is coming! Unfortunately our box of Donut Experiment donuts were invaded by ants before we realized! Overall we did love our stay here and would consider staying here again if we could be confident that the mold issue was fixed properly rather than just painted over.

Thank you for providing us with your valuable feedback. We're sorry the water damage to the ceiling was not repaired prior to your arrival. Our maintenance department is working with the owner on this issue and replacing the air mattresses. We apologize for not have the appropriate linens in the unit. Pest control has treated the unit for ants. When these unexpected issues arise, we have an on-call service after hours that is monitored by an agent in our office. We like to address concerns as soon as possible. We hope you will give us another chance, so we can share a more positive experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When you first walk in the unit, there is a odor resembling cat urine. It may be the carpet? The appliances need updated. i.e., stove burners have high flames both on top and underneath the burner. Felt unsafe cooking anticipating explosion. Lower rack in refrigerator was duct taped and items fell out when opening frig door. Please get a dishwasher. No one wants to wash dishes on vacation. After a stressful flight to Sarasota full of delays, I went to sit down and prop feet on ottoman and the ottoman collapsed. the ottoman was previously broken and top was not repaired. The property was clean. We received good customer service and would recommend property after repairs are made. We enjoyed meals at Starfish, waterfront, ginney and janies and the feast.

Ideal location and comfy cottage

This property is in a great location with only a 2-minute walk to the beach and 5-10 minute walk to groceries and restaurants and 10-20 minute driving distance to many other restaurants on the north or south regions of the island. We were glad to see in a review that there were beach supplies and wouldn't have to buy them - guests should know there are umbrellas, chairs, sand toys, a wagon, boogie board and inner tubes. These should probably be listed as amenities in property descriptions to avoid people having to bring or buy these items. A cooler would also be a nice amenity but we just bought an insulated bag from Publix to take to the beach - there are ice packs in the freezer. Patio was too hot for lounging in July but would be fantastic to have other times of the year - very spacious and lovely to sit in. Pool is just enough for relaxing and even some laps. The unit is enough space for a small family and couch comfortable for 3 people. Kitchen and bath are adequate. The unit was clean but needs a few upgrades such as a larger TV with a sound bar, new refrigerator, stove/oven, flooring throughout. There were various broken items, none of which were deal breakers but collectively were a hassle and should be addressed. The icemaker is noisy and drips water causing all the ice to freeze together, the kitchen drain stopper doesn't work, at least one stove burner is broken/clogged, the living room chair is broken, and the door blinds are broken. Management brought us a toaster within an hour when I reported ours was broken so many thanks for quick service. I was also happy to know I could donate extra food we had purchased to the management to go on to a food pantry. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in this unit and the location was ideal.

Property was great except kitchen needs some updating. Some burners on stove didn’t work and was afraid to even try the oven. Location is amazing. Would have been super nice to know that lots of beach equipment was available including a beach wagon. Overall would stay here again.

It was a short walk right across the street from the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. The free trolley stop was just a couple of blocks away as well. The only con I have is the stove. It is older and outdated and I did not like cooking on it. Luckily we went out to eat most of the time. The pool was never crowded which was nice! We were the only ones in it most of the time. I would definitely stay again!
