Excellent communication with Alanna on the statis of the rental cabin prior to our arrive. The cabin was spotless when we arrived. The cabin was fully equipped as listed on the VRBO. We will return in the future.Rented from Sept 10th to the 13th.

Great family fun

The lake was beautiful. So much to do there fishing on the pontoon, swimming, snores by the fire and so much more. The cabin was cozy and well stocked. Can’t wait to stay there again.

Wonderful lake getaway

We had a great time at the cabin. Our family stayed for a week and we had everything we needed for a terrific getaway. The cabin and the lake were very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, and sitting around the bonfire.

We loved our week away, the house was very cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake. Everything was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The lake was so peaceful, we loved kayaking, floating in the lake and taking out the pontoon boat. We loved seeing all the wildlife, including deer in our driveway every morning. Mike and Alanna were great hosts, very responsive and helpful when needed. Even giving a heads up to make sure we were aware of a storm headed our way. We will definitely stay again and recommend to our friends. Thanks for a great stay!

Such a beautiful place with every amenity you need including kayaks and a cute little four person pontoon. We brought Ali g floaties and spent hours tethered to the easy to get to swimming dock. The cabin was spotless and had excellent bedrooms and bathrooms. In our one rainy day we cozied up and watched a movie in the spacious family room. Spooner was a fun town to visit with many cute shops. And there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We cooked most of our meals and had all of the pans, bowls and utensils we needed.

Relaxing get away

Clean rest full nice beds air conditioning was good to have because it was hot and you can go in and cool off then go out and enjoy the view of the lake or jump in the very clear clean lake and cool off that way Nice fire pit. Yes it was hot but you got to have afire Never had time to fish or go out on the boat so I will have to go up again This was my second time and I have plans to use it again. Have fun book a stay soon

Relax peaceful

It was a fun relaxing time so much to do if you want to fish then fish go out on the boat do it. cook inside or outside or campfire cooking is fun too go paddling in a kayak wad in the clean clear lake games in side and out. Supper clean cabin and everything thing you need to make your own dinners lunches and snacks and breakfast too Or just sit and enjoy the fresh air I book 2 more times for the summer it is a year round place with air and heat. You can’t go wrong with this place

Relaxing. Peaceful. Worry free.

Just want my soul needed. Time away to check out and re-energize. Mike and Alanna have thought of everything. Bring your groceries and enjoy everything they furnish you with-indoor games, outdoors games, a walking trail with a hidden surprise, split, dry firewood, kayaks, a mighty toon, fishing poles, great views of the lake, and our personal favorite-the amazing fishing! These hosts go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Their response time to any question is very timely. We will definitely be rebooking!

We are repeat renters of this spectacular place. The little lake is pristine and quiet yet just two hours from the Twin Cities. The only action you’ll find here is the wild kind. Lonely loon, turtles and a beautiful doe with her youngsters. The cabin is perfect for three or four people. Spotless kitchen, bathrooms, and nicely furnished bedrooms. The large family room is perfect for a cozy movie night. We cooked most of our meals, but there are several dining options nearby and a reasonable drive to Spooner. Don’t miss a stop in Trego for a beautiful hike on the Namekagon followed by great BBQ and beer at Strongman. The fire pit, kayaks, and little pontoon were used every day. Don’t forget your floaties - tether to the swimming dock for a lovely afternoon.
