It was wonderful! A great location and a well laid out house with lots of room for group activities! We made use of the gorgeous back yard and took several of the suggestions given to us in the very helpful binder. Highly recommend this lovely gem!

A lovely home

We booked a long weekend at the lakehouse with family friends and everyone had a blast! The main purpose of the trip was giving our 3-year-old kids, who hadn't seen each other in months, some reunion playtime. Check-in was easy, and the property is clean and spacious with some terrific amenities. We made s'mores in the backyard, which was a great size for the kids to run around. Proximity to the lake for gorgeous views is a big plus! We were also able to drive to both Lake George and Saratoga Springs for outings. Would definitely stay again, thanks for having us!

We loved staying here. It was very convenient to a lot of places. Very good for our soul. We had a camp in the Adirondacks for about 15 years and sold to move to Florida. Felt great to be back there. The house was beautiful and vary comfortable! Thank you

Amazing…Just amazing.

10 stars all the way around This place is the perfect little getaway for anyone on any occasion. Even though there was a few hiccups initially, it was resolved so quickly and smooth that I will not take away any stars from my review. The spaciousness both inside and outside the property was great. Fully stocked with your basic needs. Perhaps a small thing for most but the facts that it was already stocked with firewood for the amazing fire pit was a plus for us. Speaking from experience, most places I’ve stayed had you bring your own. Literally a 1 minute walk from a wonderful little beach, plus fishing, which was a bonus for me. All external necessities was no more than a 5 to 25 minute drive out, though I do recommend you stock up before you arrive because once you settle into the property you don’t want to leave. Joe and Tammy, amazing people, from the initial conversation to the last, felt very welcoming and mellow, as if talking to long time friends. Without question, without a doubt, I will definitely stay here again and honestly look forward to my next time here. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect location, Great lodging

When we walked in to the house we were quite impressed with the accomodation. Neatly organized, tastefully furnished and well supplied. It was great being so near the lake. For out purposes it was agreat location to follow the major events of the Saratoga campaign. It was close to Lake George without the congestion. We had a great vacation here!

Weekend getaway

Joe and Tammy’s place was exactly as described, had everything that you’d need and was absolutely spotless. Very quiet location, with a large deck, and fenced backyard. We enjoyed having drinks around the fire pit and star gazing at night. It was just my husband and myself staying for the weekend but it would be perfect for a family or group of friends. I highly recommend this home and would definitely come back!

All the amenities of home

The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the showers have good water pressure. The kitchen had all the amenities of home. The central air conditioning worked well. The grounds are nice and there is a fire pit. This was our first VRBO stay and it will be hard to match.

The perfect escape!

We love this property so much that renting it has become a tradition. The kids finish school, we pack up the car, and head to the lake. The location is a short 10 miles from the excitement of Lake George Village, but yet far enough to enjoy the laid-back lake life. The home is clean and comfortable. It comes equipped with everything that you'll need for your stay for both indoors and outdoors! We love having access to kayaks. The firepit and lawn games are also a great bonus! The hosts are amazing. They are available by phone and text if you need anything The check-in process and the documents provided in advance, really make eveything a breeze! We love this tradition and always look forward to our annual visit!

Beautiful home!!

We just had the best time!! Our hosts, Joe and Tammy, were so awesome! When we arrived, they even left us a bottle of wine to welcome us! And then a storm went through one night of our stay, and we lost power. They both checked in on us to make sure we were ok, and they even continued to check on the progress to see when the power would be restored. So kind and helpful!! Also, the home was very clean, and the location was wonderful! The beach is so close... however there are quite a few steps to get down to is, so due to my health issues I was sad I couldn't enjoy it. But there is another beach right down the street which is great!! We loved the porch with the lights at night. And we wish we had more time to stay to enjoy the fire pit. Overall, we had a really great time and highly recommend this home!! We thank Joe and Tammy for a wonderful stay!!

Awesome Getaway

This was our Fourth Year renting this “Immaculate” We’ll kept and fully Equipped Home! It is so close to the Lake, that I walked down many mornings to the beach to enjoy my coffee! I have many family members that rent in this area also! It is an Ideal spot, with endless things to do.

Lake Luzerne’s Home Away From Home

Joe and Tammy were the perfect hosts for their beautiful home in Lake Luzerne. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious inside / outside setup, along with the close proximity to the beach. There was also an abundance of toys for the kids to use which they enjoyed. Highly recommend booking this home if you’re looking for a family getaway in Luzerne!

Always more to explore!

This is our fourth time renting this property which truly supports my five star review! The house is perfect for my family of 5. The short walk to the lake makes it easy to spend a relaxing day at Lake Luzurne with the conveniences of "home." The many extras that the homeowners include make our stay that much more enjoyable. When we started visiting the Lake George area I didn't realize how much there was to do, but we have yet to repeat one of our excursions! The home is centrally located to so many areas that it makes day trips a breeze!

Great experience all around!

Joe and Tammy were very responsive from the beginning before we even booked with an open line of communication during our stay! The house was very clean, organized, and better than we expected! The lake was a short walk of two houses away and we were easily able to bring the kayaks down to use at the private beach. We will definitely be staying here again! FIVE STARS*****

Peaceful Lake Getaway

Another great week in Lake Luzerne

We rented from July 8-15, 2021. This is our 2nd year staying at Tammy and Joe's place. We had a great week despite rainy days. We BBQ a few nights and we enjoyed the firepit making smores. The house was very clean, and having 2 full bathrooms were key with 3 teenagers. There were plenty of towels for us to use as well as TP, hand soap and paper towels. We plan to rent again next summer.

A Peaceful Getaway

Another Great Vacation was had in this Beautiful Lakehouse in a Great location and a serene setting and steps away from the Lake! The house is Immaculate and Fully equipped. Because of the Pandemic this year we spent most of our time at the family friendly lake Luzerne beach which turned out to be so relaxing and calming. The owners are Great to work with also!

Wonderful Lake House

This Lake House had everything we needed to be very comfortable! The property owners thought of everything. We enjoyed our mornings kayaking on the lake, afternoons playing mini golf, hanging out in the yard or out hiking the nearby trails. We even took a ride to check out Lake Placid. Our evenings were spent by the firepit or around the dining table playing games. I am glad we chose this house for our vacation this year!

An amazing stay.

We had an amazing time at this property. The house was very clean and homey . We loved having an outdoor shower, which we used after a day at the lake which is a 3 minute walk. We used the grill and fire pit a few nights and the kids had a blast. We went to Lake George twice and went to Up river Cafe for a delicious dinner. The owners were very accommodating and responded to any questions I had. Our 6 nights away at this house was not long enough...we hopefully plan to rent this property next summer. A piece of paradise!

The Lakehouse at Luzerne exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and. comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 3 children. It was a quiet neighborhood with a very short walk to the beach using the beach cart provided by the owners tp carry all our belongings. The beach and shallow waters were perfect for our grandchildren who are 9, 6, and 14 months old. We enjoyed using 2 of the 3 kayaks on site which was an added bonus! If you want to visit an area with shops and more restaurants, the village of Lake George is just over 10 miles away. We were lucky to get a dinner. reservation at the Upriver Cafe which was a 3 minute drive away and the food was great. Tammy and Joe were very quick to respond to any questions we had before or doing our stay. Our schedules did. not allow us to stay more than 4 nights,, but I would love to come back next year if possible. It was such a relaxing stay and a good time for all! Thank you Tammy and Joe!
