First time staying in a cabin and the bucktail lodge exceeded our expectations. It’s close to town and major roads. The host was extremely helpful and paid attention to details. My family and I will always recommend this cozy, charming and peaceful cabin

We loved it so much we wanted to buy it from them. It’s everything you’d imagine in a cottage in the woods. Close by to skiing lake George village, diamond point, six flags and the outlets. We saw it all. The hiking trails nearby are great too.

Cozy cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The host checked in with us after the first night and left a home baked goods upon our arrival. Those little touches and the coziness of the cabin made for a perfect stay.

Lake Luzerne Stay

We had a wonderful stay! The house is close to Lake George and Saratoga Springs. We went hiking, visited some breweries, and ate at some great restaurants. Being able to travel with our dogs was a definite plus. We would stay here again.

Such a nice, cozy, welcoming cabin for a beautiful weekend in the Adirondacks. Our hostess was more than fabulous, getting the house ready for our arrival with lights and heat and checking in to make sure that all was OK. Lots of privacy but not at all isolated. Our fur-kid was very comfortable and we were as well.

Great cabin in the woods!

We had a lovely time! The cabin is super cute and cozy, and close to everything Lake Luzerne and Lake George has to offer. The hosts were very responsive and even left us a home baked coffee cake upon arrival! Highly recommend!

Beautiful and cozy cabin!

My wife and I loved our time at the cabin. The host was very quick to respond with any questions and wanted to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. The cabin had everything we needed and was a great location to enjoy the surrounding woods and relax for a few days. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the Lake Luzerne/Lake George area.

A quiet getaway

We stayed for a long weekend. Enjoyed this beautiful property, walked throughout the small surrounding roads. Great restaurant and entertainment options despite it being a very quiet time of year. Our host was incredible to communicate with, checking in before and during our stay. The homemade treats and lights on for our arrival made us feel right at home. A really incredible property and top notch host!

Amazing getaway

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. Everything was so clean and beautifully arranged. I loved all the details that went into it. You could tell that a lot of thought and care went into planning what should be put in there, like laundry detergent, extra towels and tea & coffee. We greatly appreciate how wonderful the host was. Great family get away!

Perfect location

Perfect property with wonderful amenities. Super helpful , pleasant host. You will be near lots of fun activities in Lake Luzerne yet close to Lake George and things to do there. Just be mindful that there is one bathroom. Overall a perfect place - fire pit, outdoor grill, nice back porch, cozy front porch very cozy cabin. Enjoy!!

My husband, our 2 Scottish Terriers, and I spent a wonderful week at Bucktail Mountain Lodge. We are very familiar with the area, having rented another cabin very close by for quite a few years. That cabin has not been available, and I was very skeptical of finding anything comparable. We were not at all disappointed with Bucktail Mountain Lodge: It met all our requirements and even surpassed our expectations! The cabin is tucked away on a private road, but it’s not isolated. Starting with pulling into the driveway, everything about it is totally welcoming. It has been refurbished inside and out and decorated like a property you see in professional photos. Lights and the AC were on when we arrived, and there was a delicious homemade coffee cake waiting in the kitchen. The furniture was very comfortable. There’s a large furnished screened-in porch in the back and a large covered porch in the front, complete with everything needed to sit out there comfortably (this was one of our favorite places to sit). There is also an area in the yard with lots of chairs and a fire pit. This whole area is lit with string lights, which adds a really inviting and practical touch. Rekka, the host, checked in with us after the first night to see if we had any questions or needs, and we also had the pleasure of meeting her near the end of our stay. We definitely hope to return to Bucktail Mountain Lodge!

Beautiful Cabin In the woods!

Luxury Cabin in the woods!9.0We loved everything! There is nothing to complain about. Hostess was above and beyond. Rekka was a delightful person always checked up to see how we were doing. Very close to the lake. Dog beach/lake was a walk but clean and nice. Would recommend this cabin to everyone. Stocked with food we had a coffee cake baked fresh with a note with all the ingredients.There was a coffee machine, air fryer, games, you call it it had everything. So much firewood to burn inside outside and at the fire pit. Very roomy for 5 people and a dog. Very close to restaurants and stores there's a rodeo next door and you can hear the horses running and training and making noises so peaceful. Thank you for such a great first time cabin experience. We loved it so much. XOXOX& I loved everything my only issue was small water heater. And a lot of holes that lead mosquitoes into the cabin in the screened in porch. But over all I loved this place. It felt like home
