WE BEGAN A BEAUTIFUL RENOVATION in 2012 and started welcoming GUESTS in FEBRUARY 2013, three months after I purchased this 100-year-old Craftsman located on a double lot on the corner of two quiet streets.

RENT A CAR , UBER OR TAKE PUBIC TRANSPORT. ITS EASY TO WALK OR RUN TO THE PARK, ZOO, STREET CAR, RESTAURANTS -- ANYWHERE. IT'S A VERY SAFE AND QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD AND JUST 15 MIN FROM THE FRENCH QUARTER IN HISTORIC UPTOWN.
SIT OUTSIDE IN THE YARD UNDER A HUNDRED YEAR OLD LIVE OAK TREE or hit the town and make it loud and funky. When you want a respite from the FRENCH QUARTER madness, come back home to rest and chill in the right spot.
THE HOME HAS;
ONE LARGE Master bedroom with, DRESSER, CLOSET and A CALIFORNIA KING BED w memory foam pillows.
ONE SECOND bedroom w/ DRESSER, CLOSET, NIGHT TABLES and a QUEEN SIZE BED w memory foam pillows.
ONE SLEEPER SOFA - QUEEN SIZE FOR EXTRA GUESTS.
SPLIT BATHROOM divided by a wall; one side has a toilet and granite counter topped vanity sink and the other side has the tub and shower. This way, multiple people can get ready to hit the town and one person can’t hog the bathroom!! (Includes soap, shampoo, conditioner, TP, towels and a plunger.)
LIVING ROOM comfortably seats 6 on some of my nicest furniture.
BEAUTIFUL AMAZING one of a kind NEW ORLEANS ART and lovely ARTWORK all over.
55” HDTV - 55" HDTV with DirecTV, HBO and SHOWTIME are FREE… and so is the WIFI.
DINING AREA – the big expandable table comfortable seats 6, but expands to 8.
KITCHEN – GRANITE COUNTER, FULL SIZED STAINLESS STEEL APPLIANCES: REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER, STOVE/OVEN, DISHWASHER, COFFE MAKER (free filters, sometimes free coffee), MICROWAVE, TOASTER and all flatware, silverware, cooking apparatus. IT’S OVER STOCKED!!!
WASHER & DRYER
CENTRAL AC/HEAT – IT’S ALWAYS COMFORTABLE INSIDE, but if you want it hotter or cooler, just set the thermostat. Or just move the air around with the many fans I provided.
ENTRANCE -Your own entrance on the first floor 20 feet from the street (keypad combination entry, so no keys to lose or share).
AREA: AUDUBON RIVERSIDE
The property is in the SAFEST PLACE IN TOWN...conveniently located just two blocks from the beautiful Audubon Park (Zoo, Equestrian, Mississippi River, Golf, etc.), one block from Magazine St, and a short street-car ride to downtown New Orleans, the French Quarter, Convention Center, CBD and Frenchman St.
15 minutes to the French Quarter, the River Walk, the Port of New Orleans.
Stop by the world famous uptown music clubs like Tipitina's and the Maple Leaf - just 7 minutes away.

About Rob Steinberg
I have had a love affair with this city for 35 years, ever since starting Tulane in 1977. Three years ago, I returned to New Orleans to reclaim it as my home. I spent ten years in New York working in the music industry, followed by twenty years in Los Angeles focusing on work in the film and television industries. I was fortunate enough to graduate from Tulane University 1981 and fell in love with the food, the music, and the culture of The Crescent City.

What makes this House unique
I was lucky enough to purchase a beautiful 100 year old craftsman home October 2012 near to my favorite places to visit in the most beautiful city I have ever lived in. Pleasantly, my home is just above two apartments that I have taken the time to meticulously renovate, improve and furnish so that I might share this magical city with friends, both new and old.

We had a great stay here. Nice location, well appointed and stocked home. Rob was very accommodating.
Great accommodations in a wonderful neighborhood.
We had a brief stay in New Orleans for 2 days and loved our visit. The property owner was very friendly and we found him very helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious and it was a very easy walk to magazine street and great local restaurants. We would stay here again.

Comfortable Living in Quiet Location
Spacious ground floor 2BR apartment. Living area roomy and nicely appointed. Master bedroom is large and comfortable. Off-street parking is a real plus. The neighborhood is excellent for walks (Audubon Park is 2 blocks away), and reasonably good for shopping and dining (Magazine Street is 1 block away). The owner, Rob, is very helpful and friendly, and made us feel right at home. If you are looking for a space outside the French Quarter action, this is for you.
Nits: Kitchen a bit tight. There are two half-baths (one with toilet+sink, other with shower) that are also a bit tight, but splitting them does allow for multiple users. The second bedroom is a nice size, but probably not the best for a long stay (windowless and can be stuffy). We were there for 10 days, quite comfortably, with guests using the second bedroom one of the weekends, and this arrangement worked out perfectly.
Uptown New Orleans apartment
The location is really excellent. It’s right by Audubon Park and convenient to Tulane and all the restaurants and shopping on magazine street. It’s in a beautiful quite and safe area. The apartment itself is very clean and confortable. Our stay was just for two nights so we didn’t utilize the kitchen, but it was well equipped. We would definitely stay here again.
Comfortable, Well appointed, Safe and Convenient
Rob was in contact before our arrival to ensure all questions about the property were answered and to give us entry codes. (Nice feature not having to deal with keys) Property is on ground floor so no stairs and all the features of home. We had five adults and single bath but shower seperated from half bath worked out fine. Bus line on Magazine Street just and easy short walk away. Great neighborhood with pretty old homes and on street parking wasn't a concern. (One off street space was also provided) I would easily recommend and stay here again.
Comfortable, Safe, and Nice
Very nicely furnished and well stocked. The owner lives upstairs and is a wonderful resource himself both before and, if home, while you are there. The location is convenient to everything including the St. Charles trolley line. After experiencing what NOLA has to offer this is a nice place to come "home" and let go of any stress. From the beds to the appliances everything is in excellent shape and set up for the guest's comfort and convenience.

THEY CAN CONNECT, SO IF YOU ARE 6,7 OR 8 (UP TO 4 COUPLES), I COULD DISCOUNT IF YOU TAKE BOTH. EACH HAVE KITCHEN, WASHER DRYER, BIG SCREEN HIDEF TV W CABLE, HBO AND WIFI!!!! The apartment is great for 4 people. Extra people or children is a nominal charge.
