We have an onsite manager to care for our beautiful Villa and our guests
This is a stand alone house, not a condo. No long hallways, no elevators. A fully equipped Kitchen, laundry room, 2 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath. In Costa Rica, we call it a Villa that includes your own private parking stall just a few steps away. If you don't feel like driving, no problem as everything is within walking distance and really is a better way to enjoy Tamarindo and the friendly locals. The incredible beach is just 850 meters away, just over half mile of adventure in the heart of town.

•Fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, blender, upgraded granite countertops, raised eating bar and a separate eating area with a table and four chairs
•Comfortably appointed living room, with a large sectional, entertainment system, flat screen TV with built in DVD and free wifi phone to make free calls to the USA and Canada
•Washer Dryer and sink in Laundry room
•Two piece bathroom on main
•Coat closet (which you’re more likely to use for storage as no coats are needed here... ever)
•Lanai by the entrance
On the Upper Floor
•Master bedroom, with a queen bed, an en-suite with a tub / shower, independent AC, ceiling fan, and a balcony that overlooks the pool
•Second bedroom, with a queen bed and a double bed plus a twin bunk bed above the double bed sleeping up to 5, a full en-suite, independant AC, ceiling fan
The air conditioning system has independent controls for each floor as well as for each bedroom.
Furnishings, appliances, and other details are included.
We feel our house is the best location in the 8 house development, with the pool right outside your door.

About Lee Hansen
The follow personal information is provided to ensure my guests a level of comfort as to who they are doing business with and renting from. My name is Lee Hansen. My wife Jacquie and I have rentals in the US, Canada and of course 1 in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. I slowed my life down a bit 8 years ago and sold both my businesses. Was founder owner/partner of Landmark Realty in Abbotsford BC Canada since 1991. I have held a valid real estate license for 28 years and still sell real estate, but not at the level I did when younger. It's a job I enjoy, working with people and keeps me as busy as I want to be. I was also owner/partner of Woodworks Solid Wood Furniture in Abbotsford BC Canada. Feel free to Google either or both to confirm. Why Lee Hansen chose Tamarindo
After vacationing in Tamarindo and loving it, we bought this house new while under construction in 2007 and finished in 2008. Many features were upgraded from the other 7 houses in our gated community. We over look the pool as you can see in the pic. Only 1 neighbor as the last house originally planned was never constructed making for an open area to the east. We truly think our house is the best location in the small gated complex. There are 8 stand alone houses here. Not condos but independent houses. Ours has taller ceilings, granite kitchen counter tops, outside shower, and the pool right out front of your door.
What makes this Villa unique
After vacationing here I said I'd never go to Maui again. Nothing against Hawaii or Mexico but Costa Rica is safe, clean, prices are reasonable, you can drink the water and walk the streets comfortably at night. It's Central America, a very different way of life where clocks have little meaning. The locals work hard but also enjoy their time off while living a casual lifestyle. Tamarindo in Costa Rica offers an incredibly adventurous vacation. If you prefer hanging around the pool, our place offers relaxation too. The beach is stunning and just 850 meters (just over 1/2 mile) away, making for a short 10 min walk. Our guests say we are close enough to the action and night life in town yet far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet at night.

Our stay in #7 was fantastic! The space is amazing and very well equipped with extras. Loved the robes!!! Margarita (property manager) is the best she really makes this place 5 star. Meets you at the gates, shows you around, offers 24 hr service ring the bell. The whole complex is very clean and quiet

Our 2018 winter
The property manager is exceptional, helping with your every need as well as keeping the property in excellent condition, which is no easy task. We spent two months here and throughly enjoyed our time. To many restaurants to mention all were good, never had a bad meal but pork isn't great. Great sunsets on the beach! We didn't rent a car, taxis are plentiful but you can walk to anything you might need.

Great location within walking distance to town and the beach. The villa is very comfortable with the pool just steps from the front door. Both Lee and Margaritha made us feel very welcome. Margaritha was extremely helpful booking our excursions and transportation from the airport. When our flight was delayed she made sure our pick up was rescheduled and waited up for us. I would highly recommend Pueblo Colonial!
Exactly as advertised.
The property was exactly as advertised and well run by the on-site property manager. Clean, well kept, secure, and very close to Tamarindo, without the full noise of the downtown. Excellent property.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Pueblo Colonial #7. This villa is fully equipped.
Everything was there including a fully equipped kitchen, with granite countertops. We used the laundry room off the kitchen daily. There’s even a toll free phone for Lee’s guests with unlimited calls to the US and Canada. Internet service was strong and another wifi repeater at the pool which is just steps away from the front porch. Tamarindo is never boring and we had sooo much fun. When we tired out we enjoyed the bbq’s provide for guests at Lee’s Villa. We will return and hopefully for a longer stay.

Tamarindo offers all of the normal amenities you would expect from a tourist centered town. Everything is within walking distance to our place at Pueblo Colonial, such as two grocery stores, about 40 restaurants, rentals for cars, motorcycles, surfboards and everything to entertain you, tons of shopping, several pharmacies, tourist information and booking offices, bank machines and taxis, you name it. All this and an incredible beach 850 meters away for swimming, surfing or just enjoying the warmth and sun. The sunsets are beyond words.
Rates & Availability
Additional information about rental rates
Rates are based on parties of up to 4. Additional $10 per person for more than 4 people, including children and adults. ie: 2 adults and 4 children equals a party of 6 and an additional $20 per day. Shorter term rentals of less than 7 days may be available depending on current bookings. Enquire to owner for shorter than 7 day availability. Deposits are refundable up to 90 days prior to check in less a $100 usd administration fee. Less than 90 days deposits are non refundable.
