The house is great for a small group. The bathrooms are clean and well equipped, as is the kitchen. The location is perfect, and the fishing is excellent if you stay up late enough for the shrimp to start jumping and bring in the trout. Communication with the host is always great.

Excellent fishing getaway

We had an excellent time. The house is cozy and very pretty. We conviently fished right off the back yard with the lights. It was minutes from Rockport and Aransas which was convenient for food, shopping, and launching the boat. Absolutely will stay here again!

Very Roomy for the 4 of us adults. Open Floor Plan. Nice View of the Bay from the Living Room and Kitchen. Great Fishing off your Private Dock. Great Outdoor Living. Some Boats and Barges passing by. --No Need to Go Anywhere!Fishing was great under the lighted pier at night. --Lots of Trout with some Keepers! Using Plastic Shrimp. Gafftopsail fish a plenty.Only drawback was there was no Remote Control in the 2nd Bedroom so TV was Unavailable to watch in there. But did not miss it. Great Outdoor Living. Deck Chairs Very Comfortable and Relaxing. Nice BBQ Pit. Would Stay Again.

We enjoyed the location of the house. We use Conn Brown to launch our boat and Rockport to eat and other stuff in. It was perfectly located between Rockport and the boat ramp. The dock was very nice. We caught trout at night under the lights and all the piggy perch one would want. The beds were soft and nice and the kitchen had what we needed to make the meals that we wanted. Dawn was very easy to get ahold of and the house was exactly what was listed. My wife even said that she would definitely rent the house again.

I fell in love with this property the first time I visited it when I saw dolphins jumping right behind the house! My kids learned to fish here, and we always enjoy watching the boats go by while sitting on the back porch. Now professionally managed by my company called Love Rockport.

This home has been a beloved vacation rental since Dawn purchased it in 2004

What makes this property unique

This is such a cute property and it offers great fishing from the back dock and wonderful views. Experience the excitement of watching a variety of boats go by on the intracoastal - fishing boats, kayaks, sail boats, and even the occasional barge. Estes Flats is just beyond the waterway where you can view snowy egrets and great blue herons wading as they search for fish. Seeing a dolphin jump never gets old, and the opportunity to fish right from the back yard is priceless.
