Incredible Sunsets and Big Fish Await on Copano Bay!! Big Deck and Bigger Pier!

Pet Friendly 3/2 with a New 12'X35' deck overlooking Copano Bay. Private 350' fishing pier with multiple sports fishing lights. The pier goes out to the deep channel coming out of Salt Lake (fish estuary). Schools of dolphins chasing fish, and lots of great bird watching are a daily occurrence. Relax in the hammock. Grill up the daily catch on your choice of Charcoal or the propane grill. Extra large fenced in yard on 3 sides (water side is not fenced). House was recently redone with new furniture and new appliances in the kitchen. For those who want to hang inside there is a wall of windows looking out over the water, and a 65" tv in the living room with a tv in every bedroom. High speed internet that will allow for streaming and working. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need. If you don't feel like cooking Rockport has lots of great places to eat along with a super neat downtown and beach. Give us a try and you will be Hooked!!

Everything about this trip was amazing!! The host was great, he was easy to contact and very accommodating. The house is very spacious, very cozy and welcoming. It was also very well furnished. The dock is awesome, fishing was great, views were spectacular. This place is very recommended for anyone looking to relax and fish and have some fun, i know we sure did!!!

We spent 7 nights at this awesome property! Being on Copano Bay was nice. This is a very family/pet friendly home. Lots of amenities. Communication with the owner, John was great! We enjoyed fishing off the private dock/pier. We saw dolphins and loved all the ducks! They were literally next to our dock. Our dog, Luna enjoyed the backyard. Nice large fenced in area. The bay view is amazing and peaceful. The house is clean and love that the home was stocked with almost everything you need. Town is about 15 minutes away. Convenient for gas, groceries, bait shops, etc. We totally recommend this property. You will not be disappointed. If I could give 20 more stars, I would!

Great place! The owner is very nice and easy to communicate with. The dock is amazing. You can all be fishing in a different spot and never be on top of eachother. The porch is great and we enjoyed sitting outside in the cool breeze every day. The house is good. We were comfortable and happy. There were zero issues. Would stay here or at any of the properties owned by the same owner. Highly recommend.

Perfect in every way

We booked this place for a week for my birthday. Couldn’t be happier with this rental. Easy to find, easy to check in/out. Place was clean and we felt right at home. The views!! Stunning! John, the owner, was incredibly nice and welcoming. He had just about anything you’d need at his home. Pots, pans, seasonings, crock pot, even an ice cream maker Fishing was great! Our dogs loved the property and running up the pier. Highly recommend John’s place! Hope to come back. Thanks again for everything!

Home away from home!

My husband and I had to travel to Corpus for work and decided to turn it into a long weekend. We found this gem and absolutely fell in love. We were able to bring our dogs with us and we all had so much fun! The house is gorgeous and super comfortable! The pier was the perfect spot to hang out and fish all day. This was one of the best trips we have taken in a while. John was amazing as well! He was super accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. He definitely went above and beyond! I would highly recommend for your next trip to Rockport! Hook’em Horns!!

Great Time on the Bay

I had an extended stay at this property. The Bay views are Fantastic. The fenced yard for my dog was great. The house was nicely set up and clean upon arrival. I would definitely stay here again.

Highly Recommend for fishing and relaxation

My husband and I stayed at John's house with some family members. What can I say the house was very clean, roomy, felt like home. Lots of seating inside and outside. Awesome pier! Great location. He also provides a washer and dryer :). Didn't have any issues checking in or out. When texting John he was very quick to respond. I highly recommend John's place if you plan to visit Rockport, Tx . We definitely will be back!

Amazing sunsets

The house was exactly as described. We enjoyed the amazing views from this property and appreciated the peace and quiet. The fishing pier was incredible! We regularly saw dolphins, pelicans, and jellyfish while we sat at the end of the pier fishing or just enjoying the view.

Copano Bay Stay

The house was nice and the view of the water was excellent. Guess it wasn’t the right time of the year for Redfish, Trout, and Flounder but it was fun fishing. We enjoyed watching the dolphins each evening. Would highly recommend this place.

Family Fun Trip Catching Creatures!!!!

Wonderful trip. Caught fish, alligator gar and saw dolphins. Home was clean and met our needs. We had three guests in mid 80s and two 50 year olds.

Great place with nice long fishing pier.

Really like the place with simple feel, well stocked and nice upper deck. The fishing pier is long with two sections to fish from. Will return.

Proud graduate from The University of Texas. Born in Albany TX but escaped at an early age and grew up in a small farming town North of Dallas named Plano. Started up a small independent oil company with my Dad and brother in 1988, and I went into the house rental business the same year. My joy for hosting was fueled by my favorite part time job which was being a Party Boat Captain on Lake Travis. We had a boat that was rated for 50 people and I was generally the one manning the grill cooking for them.

What made me fall in love with this Hood was the Sunsets.

Hook'em was one of the original houses in the hood and it was built at an angle that gives you a Southern breezy coming off the gulf when you are downstairs. Hook'em has the longest pier in the area at just over 350 feet long and was built in 2021 after Harvey had destroyed the old pier.
