Our address is 3429 State Route 125 Shamokin, PA 17872. As avid ATV riders and Jeep enthusiasts we saw a need for lodging near the Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area (AOAA). We also wanted to specifically include persons with disabilities. Catering to those who use wheelchairs with accessible ramps and also a roll in shower. Come visit our large Victorian home which is nested in the mountains of the coal region. Located a mile down the road from the AOAA. In our spacious rooms we have queen sized beds as well as two rooms with bunk beds. Every bedroom comes with fire tv and free Wi-Fi. Our house has a large kitchen with all utensils and two big living rooms with plenty of comfy seating. Do you need to wash your clothes? We have that covered too along with a washer and dryer here for your convenience. Rest assured your machines are safe. You can keep them locked up in the large garage for the night. Outside our property is equipped with plenty of cameras keeping watch over the garage and house. At the end of a long day of hard riding relax by the fire pits and enjoy some of the evening views across the valley. We are also just miles from Knoebels (14 miles), The Bloomsburg Fair (24 miles), and Hershey Park (57 miles about an hour away). They are just a few of the local attractions. Hope to see you soon.

Family friendly house
We went for the weekend - 3 families - 7 adults and 8 kids. There was plenty of room for all. The first night there my 9yr old grandson found a Monopoly game and couldn't wait to play. I hoped to take advantage of the fire pit but we got back to the house very late at night and didn't have time. Saw deer in the back yard in the morning and of course a couple chickens visited us. The house has comfortable furniture and beds. Having 2 tables for meals was very convenient. Kids ate in the kitchen and the adults went to the dining room. When we have another family event in the area we will definitely see if this house is available. Thanks for letting us have a great family weekend there!
Great space to gather family and friends! Response to any questions were almost immediate. Already planning to come back next year.
Roomy, charming Victorian
We always take a few days in late August to visit Knoebel's as a family. Last year someone came up with the idea of doing a week in 2018. We are a family of 16 with grandparents, parents and grandchildren, so schedules were a problem. We decided to just "go with the flow," relax, and if and when family showed up, make plans from there. Over the course of the week 15 of 16 family members made the trip. This is not the Hilton, but if you're looking for charm, a good price and a cozy atmosphere this is the place. A fan of victorian era homes, I was charmed by the woodwork, pocket doors and cozy front porch. Every bedroom is set up to accomodate numerous visitors...this home sleeps a total of 16! It was hot during our visit but every room has an air conditioner so no one was too hot. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, dishes and a dishwasher. The only thing we needed were the food supplies to make our dinners. There is both a Weis and Walmart within a 20 minute drive. The bed linens and towels were also included, rarely found in such rentals. A washer and dryer, along with detergent, is available on the first floor. The "main attraction" for our young grandchildren was looking for "Steve" every morning. My apologies to "Steve" for the name given to him, or should I say her, as "Steve" was a free roaming, very friendly chicken. If you like looking at the mountains sitting on the porch is quite peaceful with a beautiful view. I gave three of my grandchildren their first lessons on looking through binoculars. The bathrooms are a bit rustic, but are functional with plenty of hot water and water pressure (there are two, one upstairs and one on the first floor). All in all our stay was hectic with people coming and going, but the house accommodated all of us and no one complained. If you don't mind "stepping back in time" and have a few visitors coming and want to make some of your own meals, this would be a great place to stay. The Kline Family
Great family home
This home was a great place for our family to gather. Location is great and Neil and gang were very helpful from start to finish. Grandsons are from the west and were not familiar with fireflys so had a blast spending the evenings catching them.
Spacious and clean
Very spacious house- plenty of room for everyone. The place was clean and we loved that linens and towels were included. There were 5 tvs and charging stations in every room. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!
Very nice inside. Everything you could need was there and then some.
Outside property needs work but comfy and cozy inside. Very clean. Neil was very accommodating and responsive.
It was a pleasure hosting your group! I hope you enjoyed your stay.
