2 Bedroom Restored Historic Landmark-Old Industrial Soda Factory in Mount Carmel
Discover the magnificent transformation of this 2-bedroom hidden treasure in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania.
The building feature's 1 queen bed, 2 full beds, 2 large, extra deep, down feather, leather sofas from the luxurious Restoration Hardware, a functioning gas fireplace, a gorgeous bathroom with classic marble hexagon tile, marble sink and counters, full size washer & dryer, and hair dryer. An open floor plan with a spacious full size kitchen that includes a Keurig with complimentary coffee.
Each bedroom and living room has a television. WiFi and loads of classic board games are also included in the space.
The entire space is furnished with lavish furniture from Restoration Hardware throughout, all aligning with the historic property industrial theme. The large metal beam that runs throughout was our inspiration for this space. It was utilized to hoist soda with manual block & tackle chain hoists.
This was the previous site of Kramer's Soda Factory. In keeping with the theme of the building, local artisans were commissioned to create "soda art" for the space that was crucial for us to incorporate in the revitalization process.

Thank you! We appreciate your kind review. We look forward to having you in the future.
We enjoyed this property for a weekend trip with two families wanting to get away, relax, and enjoy time at Knoebels. The property was clean and we had plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 children. The host was wonderful and provided great customer service. We look forward to returning in the future!
It was a great place to stay! The inside is beautiful and really well done! The beds are comfortable, towels are really soft. The property manager responded really quickly and was very nice when I messaged a question. We stayed there for a race at Numidia Dragway which is about 20 minutes away. We would definitely stay there again!
Amazing space. Great host. Easy check in, clear rules, great information. Hosts went above and beyond ensuring we could find everything and were comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay so much! This apartment is so comfortable and guest ready, we loved it. Our primary reason was to take our grandson to Knoebels, and seriously, this was perfect. Beds are comfy, kitchen is stocked, and bathroom was very organized. Communication with host is A. Already planning with the fam for another trip down and will for sure book again.
We booked this location for a quick anniversary trip, and it was just perfect. We normally go for remote cabins, but we liked the updated styling of this property. Thankfully, the neighborhood was very quiet, and we still felt like we had our own little space. We found some very nice hiking trails nearby and restaurants were very affordable. There were several little things the owners did well - plenty of towels, open floor plan, comfy beds. Definitely would stay again!
The house was in great condition. Really enjoyed the soda factory, industrial appeal. Plenty of games for the kids to play. TV in every room. Kitchen had all essential items you would need to cook. Bathroom was well stocked with towels. There is also a washer and dryer if you need to wash anything. Would recommend to everyone to stay here.
We loved the theme of the property! It was a cool way to honor the history of the building being an old soda factory. During our stay, my daughter referred to it as “the Soda House.” Each room had artwork related to it and an industrial vibe. It was dark and cozy at night, with great window light during the day when you open up the curtains. Very neat place to stay!
We were pleasantly surprised by the property upon arrival! It was very clean, modern, and unique. You could tell a lot of thought went into the design.. even the silverware and hairdryer matched the overall aesthetic of the place. It was stocked with a generous amount of supplies, including kcups and some bottled waters. I accidentally locked myself out of the property and the host responded immediately and helped me right away. A great place to stay with everything you could need!
We were a little nervous about staying in an old soda factory converted to a livable property, however we were pleasantly surprised. We were very impressed with the layout as well as the overall soda factory theme. We would definitely book again!! Thank you for a very memorable stay! The only minor issue was advertising as a “sleeps 8”. There are only three beds and six pillows, however the oversized sofas were very comfortable. No complaints. Just bring more pillows!
We booked this property for a week while our home was being assessed for smoke damage. After finding out that we would be displaced longer than anticipated, we asked to extend our stay. The host was very understanding and accommodating. We felt very lucky to have such a nice property available for booking in our neighborhood. It was perfect for me, my husband, and four-year-old daughter. We especially loved the bath tub, fire place, and comfy couches. Great place that is family friendly!
The rental was perfect for our needs and we have a family of 7. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, dish soap, and even k-cups and creamer. Other than food and snacks we really didn’t have to buy anything extra. The unit was spotless and fit our needs perfectly. Any questions had a quick response and we were taken care of. Thanks for everything

We loved everything about this property and it's host.
The property is very clean, has a washer and dryer, full kitchen & plenty of towels (which is a big deal for our family-lol). The host was so thoughtful, she had bottled water for us in the fridge, coffee pods, kitchen & bathroom soap, laundry detergent & a supply of board games. The soda theme is cool.
Pictures of this space do not do it justice. At first i was concerned but once actually walking in was truly delighted. Everything was perfect. So very clean and had everything needed with little extras. While i come from the country and this is in middle of a town, we felt safe and everyone we met were very nice, Even our door dash delivers were great. 8 of us fit perfect. The sofas were huge and easily slept a person on them with plenty of room. Dealing with the owner was so easy and they were very accommodating. We would definitely return.
We had an extended stay which allows you to really get to know a property. This place truly has everything you could need! Check-in was super easy. Off the street parking made it easy to carry bags in and there was a place to sit outside. It was stocked with so many supplies and the host made sure we stayed stocked every week. The shower temperature was great and the bathroom was really clean. All the appliances looked brand new! The beds and couches were comfortable. AC units worked really well, but also has a nice fireplace heater. Just an all around great experience- clean, beautiful property with very accommodating hosts if you need anything!
Architecturally speaking, this is one of the more interesting places we've stayed. The rental has a nice open floor plan in the living space for families and friends who might enjoy sharing space and being together (which was perfect for us)! I'd also like to add that the location and neighborhood was five stars for us because we knew what we were choosing. If you're looking for a nice small town stay with easy escape to the woods and a quick car ride to the most underrated amusement park in the world, you'll love it here. Our host was quick to answer questions and made the check-in/check-out process as easy as it could have been. THANK YOU for a special weekend.

Thank you Noah! We're so glad you enjoyed the space.
A very cool place to stay. Not like any house, cabin, or cottage than a soda factory, completely renovated with the industrial look. That being said it was dark with all the gray. I liked how updated and fresh everything was, the new powerful appliances, and soft comfy beds. Except for the couches, which were old, and smelled like wet dog. At night it sounded like a cat was meowing, and a dog barked every so often. I didn't like looking out the window and seeing a trailer park. We did like how there was many local restaurants nearby, with a couple grocery stores. Everything that you need in a house was there. Overall a great stay and wouldn't mind staying here again.

We're sorry you were disappointed with the location. That's subjective. Barking dogs and meowing cats are out of our control.. You can visually see where we're located on the map. We feel, we offer a higher end place for a great value in close proximity to Knoebel's and other attractions in our general area. As for the sofas, everything in the place was purchased new. No animals have ever been inside the building & you're only the 5th person to even stay there. The sofas are cleaned regularly with leather conditioner so that could be the only scent on them. We spent a lot of time, effort, and money transforming this space to make it what it is today. We also chose to go for the monochromatic look with pops of green color representative of the Kramer's signature color as you see throughout the space. The appearance of the space is exactly what the pictures display on VRBO so the occupants know exactly what to expect..
Beautiful setting well lit and the air conditioning was perfect in the rooms. very cozy clean and quiet in the area, had everything we needed for dinner in a home setting. I would stay here every time were in PA! Thank you for having us!
