This beautifully remodeled Rosland Cabin sits on 22+ acres wooded lot with a private lake.

A small group or a family with kids will appreciate this open floor 1000 square feet home, which features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Bedroom 1 features a queen bed and a bunk bed (twin mattresses). Master bathroom has a walk-in shower with a built-in steam room. Could sleep 4 if needed.

Second bedroom: full-size bed.

Living Area: features a cozy wood burning stove. Sleeper sofa. TV, Netflix account for guests along with the free wireless internet.

Kitchen: open to the living room with a built-in bar; fully stocked to cook and entertain, features stainless steel appliances, includes dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and a toaster.

A washer and dryer for your convenience. All towels, linens, pillows, and blankets provided.

Outside: a large deck to enjoy your morning coffee or serve dinner for six; brand new gas grill, fire-pit with Adirondack chairs, and a hammock. AND don't forget a Private Lake. Just a short walk downhill and you can relax on a large dock. Although no swimming allowed in the lake, you can try fishing or just enjoy a sunset.

We had an amazing time! The cabin is so perfect and cozy with the most beautiful view.

My husband and I needed a getaway in the woods and hit the jackpot here. The house was wonderfully warm with the fireplace running. Our dog loved running around in the yard. We had the loveliest sunset boat row on the lake. We would absolutely stay here again!

Clean, well-appointed cabin; fantastic stay!

The cabin was clean and well-appointed; we had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend getaway with friends. Cozy and comfortable; we especially enjoyed the inside fire and access to a private lake with boat included. We enjoyed going to a nearby country store (recommended by the owners) and a microbrewery in a town about 30 minutes away. Overall, we had a fantastic weekend and I would not hesitate to recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Beautiful, clean and modern on the interior; rustic on the exterior

This was a charming property that contained pretty much anything we'd need for a short stay in the Poconos (if only the weather had been a bit warmer). The decor was welcoming and amenities plentiful. We found the large bedroom to be a bit colder than the rest of the house, but there were plenty of blankets. Overall, no complaints and a solid recommendation for this place.

We had such a great time!

We traveled with a 2 & 4 year old and really enjoyed our stay. We really appreciated the owner providing us with both a toddler bed and crib in the master. There were also some childrens toys and books available as well. The home was nicely kept and decorated so cute. We brought our kids to see snow so they really enjoyed walking around on the big property. The owner really had a lot of nice and thoughtful touches throughout the home. We had a really nice time!

Wonderful cabin experience

We went to the cabin with our friends (another couple) and their dog. A dog-friendly cabin was a must for us so this was perfect! We loved having fires in the wood stove in the living room and the heated floors were a must with the cold nights. We made our meals using the fully stocked kitchen which had everything we needed. The bed in the master was comfortable and our friends' said their bed was very comfortable as well. Beautiful property and views on the lake which only enhance the experience. Indra is a fantastic host and we'll definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Perfect getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin with a private lake. Our 3 yo daughter & 5 yo Bernese Mountain Dog loved their "lake adventures" hiking up and down the hill. The open layout in the cabin was great for watching our 1 yo & 3 yo daughters. And though we didn't ask about a crib ahead of time, we took notice that the owner was thoughtful enough to set up not only a crib, but also a toddler bed; and there were 2 rocking horses! Both our girls slept great every night. And the outlets are only about 20 mins away. We would definitely recommend this property. Thank you again!!

Peaceful retreat!

We recently stayed at this property for 5 days while visiting family in Pennsylvania. It was perfectly suited to our needs. We had myself, my husband, my daughter and her children (my 4 year old granddaughter and 3 month old son). The two bedrooms are perfect. The layout of the cabin is perfect with one smaller bedroom and a small bath on one side and a large bedroom and large master bath on the other side. The kitchen is nice with stainless appliances. We really enjoyed cooking breakfast in the morning and made a big pot of chili one night. The private lake on the property is beautiful and my husband caught a rather large bass one morning while fishing off the pier with my granddaughter. Unfortunately we never got to take the boat out or start a fire in the fire pit but we hope to do that next time! Indra was wonderful whenever we had a question she was always quick to respond to my text. This location is also convenient to great local diners and also a really nice flea market just down the road which we spent several hours at on Sunday morning. We also drove to the historic town of Jim Thorpe which was about 30 or 40 minutes from the cabin. It is a beautiful little town and we even took a train ride on the Pennsylania Reading Railway. We will definitely consider returning for a future visit.

A true pleasure to stay at this cozy, well equipped, dog friendly cabin!

What a pleasure to stay in this ultra well equipped cabin in a mountain area not far from Saylorsburg, Pa, which is kind of the start of the Pocono area but not nearly as far. Perfect for one or two couples or a family, this cabin comes with ultra modern bathrooms, including a steam sauna/shower, and trendy, gorgeous fixtures. Every amenity you could want is there, from comfortable beds and bedding, spa shampoo, conditioner, and every needed supply such as hair dryer, to rheostatted light switches, two Iphone chargers, smart TV, and updated appliances. From the deck, you can see a lake, and there is a path down to it. At the end, there is a dock with a boat, life jackets, and two chairs to sit on the dock. There is a trampoline in the backyard, a fire pit, and an adorable shed made into a playhouse for children. The unit is dog friendly, and includes dog food bowls. The deck has a picnic table and a swing, with trendy, rustic posts on the decking. The owners have made this cozy space into the best it can be, and it is spotless. There are many restaurants in the environs of Stroudsburg and Saylorsburg, do not miss the Stone Bar Inn, for fine but rustic dining. The owners provide a binder of local restaurants, activities, and information. We appreciated all of the touches provided by the owners, who were very responsive to any question or request. Recommend!

Enjoyed the space, good communication from owner

The home was nice for a family of 4 (2 small kids 4-6 yo). Probably would have been fine for an add'l 2 adults too. kitchen was well stocked with the necessities (pots, pans, towels, etc). Beds and linens were all comfortable. There were a lot of flies in the house unfortunately. Not coming in from the outside, and could not figure out where they were coming from, but I must have killed 20+ over the 2 nights. The firepit was nice, plenty of wood and comfortable Adirondack chairs. The property leading down to the small pond was very pretty. I pulled out a 15 inch large mouth bass from the pond on the dock, so that was fun. Kids had a blast running around the small grass area. We live in the city, so any green space is nice to have. Neighborhood is a mix of permanent trailer homes and single family homes. Very quiet. Overall nice weekend.

Honeymoon in paradise

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful, beautiful and so many activities to do. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated. Only 2 hours from New York you can't go wrong. Highly recommended!

Great cabin.

Very nice house, well maintained. The most beautiful about this place is location, private access to the lake, boat, large property. Definitely will come again for our next vacation. Highly recommend!!!!

Very nice house, property and your own private (realy) lake...

We have done quite a few trips through VRBO and such, and saw quite a few houses, never disapponted, but this is probably the first property I am actually looking forward to return to some day.

Private Secluded Relaxing Vacation

The house and outdoor space was clean, roomy and super relaxing. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are modern with heated floors. We had a great time thanks. Would definitely highly recommend staying here.

It is the little details that matter... -heat & air -Netflix etc. -New York Apt. feel -steam shower & heated floor Did we use all of these ...NO, but if I had wished I could. If you are athletic the walk to the pond is AMAZING. I love that sort of thing, if I want to sit around I'll stay home. If you love road walks it is very safe (no traffic). Just lovely. If you are afraid of bugs and wildlife go to the city (yuk). To boot; The bass in the pond are the size of Kansas!
