Escape to a one-of-a-kind luxury A-frame treehouse at Uncommon Accommodations, a boutique collection of unique stays on a 14-acre riverside retreat along Vermont's beautiful Lamoille River, just minutes from Stowe and Smugglers' Notch.



Perched among the trees and reached by a private footbridge, this architect-designed A-frame offers the feeling of a secluded treehouse without sacrificing modern comfort. Thoughtfully designed by local architect Raymond Boutin and handcrafted by master builder Todd Miller, the home features warm maple veneer walls, exposed Douglas fir beams, Brazilian hardwood floors, and expansive windows that immerse you in the surrounding forest.



Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom, cozy loft bedroom, indoor fireplace, roll-down projector for movie nights, high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi, and a private deck where you can relax beneath the trees with the sounds of the river below.



Your stay includes access to our collection of shared resort-style amenities designed to make your getaway truly memorable. Soak in the year-round six-person hot tub, unwind in the treehouse barrel sauna, prepare dinner in the outdoor kitchen featuring a BBQ grill, pizza oven, sink, prep space, and covered dining area, or gather around the riverside fire pit as the sun sets.

The A frame is like a studio loft in the trees. The views are amazing. We loved the sauna and river plunge followed by the hot-tub. The area has lots of short and long hikes to choose from. We plan to come back for longer next time!

A Frame Treehouse was the perfect place. Good communication from host, easy to get to, very clean & nice. The best was sitting out on the deck in the evening with the pit fit on, drinking wine and watching the river.

Amazing stay! The cabin was so cute and everything was so clean. the host had everything you could think of. He was also super attentive and checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was up to par, and responded quickly to questions we had. Will definitely book again in the near future!

The cabin was nice ,well set up . We did not use the community hot tube or sauna. The sleeping loft was tough to get temperature regulated so it was uncomfortable sleeping to hot and humid up there. We had the ceiling fan on and the air conditioning vents on. Still not enough. Besides that nice place great views nice location.

This is a lovely property! One of a kind with all the amenities you could hope for. The location is outstanding. We rode the LVT which is quite convenient to the property. One small caution, spiral staircase to second floor bedroom can be challenging for older folks!

We really enjoyed our stay in the snow Dec 13th-Dec 15th! The A frame has a wonderful feel to it and all the amenities you could ever want for year around fun! Cozy warm nights spent by the fireplace sipping our favorite wine and eating local cheeses. Host was a top notch communicator. The only thing I would consider changing is the check in time to 3-4pm so we can arrive with daylight in the winter time and a checkout closer to 11am would allow for more time and a more "fair stay" for the price.
