Everything we needed

Clean space, good accomodations. Got the job done, comfortably.There were complications with the electricity. The house could barely handle the electrical load, particularly in the living room. Often the television would cycle on and off, as would the wifi.Otherwise, perfectly acceptable and we enjoyed our stay.

This is a rental where we have stayed that I would not recommend to anyone at this time. The floors of this house are what appears to be rotting away. It appears that they have replaced the vinyl flooring but did nothing to the subfloor which appear to be rotting. We noticed in one bedroom that the vinyl floor was dipping and cracked. You could actually see the ground under the floor in this room. We closed this room off for fear of falling through it. There are soft recessed areas on the floor throughout the house. It appears that the insulation under the house has been removed. We noticed that in the afternoon the temperature inside the house stayed between 75-77 degrees with the a/c constantly running. We set it at 69 degrees which it would get to by early morning, only to rise to 77 by the afternoon. It was comfortable enough to sleep with the ceiling fans running and quite cold in a good way when we woke up in rhe morning. There is a 44 on the stairs that is barely bolted down and would break off if someone were to grab it in need of support. There was no hair dryer as advertised and the clothes dryer did not work. We visit Port A and Corpus Christi quite often in the summer and try to pack lightly. These two items are a must. Only having one bathroom is tough with four people. I can't imagine any more people than that. The place can definately be a nice and safe place if the structural repairs are made. This post is strictly for safety purposes.
