Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Would not stay here again. Could hear everything from hallway. Could see under door. Small room for the price. Water leaking from ceiling in bathroom notified management no one showed up.Room is out dated.

Suite Retreat @ Beachview 226

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved the closeness to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc.You can see a little sliver of the beach between two palm trees, so I wouldn’t say “Beachview.” The building is quite ran down. It definitely could use some updates. We loved the location, but just know when it turns about 8 you will feel like you are at a concert. The Hangout is right across the street and they play live music. The sound does come through the walls so beware if you have littles or plan to sleep at a certain time. The property was “clean”, but not as clean as I would like. You definitely saw dust all over the kitchen amenities. If you looked under anything, you would find old trash from previous guests. The stay was not terrible, but out of all the places we have stayed this would be ranked the lowest. My husband and I noticed that there was no “gift” when we arrived. Normally, there is a little gift basket with some snacks awaiting our arrival. This definitely felt more like a hotel. I would say it’s like a hotel room, but smaller. Compared to other places, the price was on the lower side. Overall, our stay fit our needs, but there is some work that could be done.

Needs some attention

Couch needs to be replaced small pieces of were falling off everywhere & was so uncomfortable I joked I had bruises but I in fact did get bruises on my back )-: There were dead bugs stuck to the shower curtain & was very obvious no one cleans under things

Great location, but dirty

Trouble with Aqua Vacation rentals. Lack of communication. Had to contact person about code and room number. They called back from Walmart. No one at office even though office hours till 5:30 pm. Cleaning fee for room that was filthy. I have pictures I sent them with no response back. Question whether sheets clean so bought new to use plus they are microfiber. Yuck. Plus can of microband to spray everything. Can't beat location and price. Locked out to make comment on their website. So check make sure if condo is owned by Aqua Vacation rentals in gulf shores Alabama. You are prepared to clean.

Location is great

The location of the VRBO is great. I think the owners are just phoning it in. The couch was worn and disintegrating. The room had a musky smell and the shower curtain liner was torn in 3 places. We would stay in the area again, but not necessarily in this facility.

Perfect for an Adult Only trip!

This is a perfect stay for a couple that plan to enjoy the local food an shopping while you are there. Across from us was The Hangout and The Pink Pony. Behind us were 6 or so other amazing places to eat. All the beach shops surrounded us and most importantly the beach was across the street. Will book again the next time we get to sneak away!

Great location

The experience was great. The location is in the middle of everything

The property was great. It was in the middle of everything. Walking distance to the beach. The only issue I had was the fan making noise when it's on. My fault, I didn't know until we left and read the instructions that we can adjust the a/c unit temperature. The whole time we kept the a/c temperature to 76 and used fan the whole time. We could turn down the a/c and turn off the fan. By that means, we didn't sleep good in the because it was hot and we didn't change the a/c temperature and depend on the fan and that was my fault not reading good hehe. Also, the t.v was in and out of signal. In my opinion, the room is clean but it still needs a little wiping on the cabinets and the fan blades needs to be wipe so dusty. In addition, put some air freshener. But overall, we are happy.

Walk Across to the Beach!

Loved this affordable studio apartment. The listing was just as described and no disappointment. Clean and spacious for a little space. The view from the kitchen window was fun to see the going ons at night and so close to tons of great restaurants and things to do!! Would recommend and plan to stay here again.

LOCATION!!!

This place is in the perfect location! Right across the street from The Hangout, The Pink Pony, many shops, and the beach! It's small, but we were only there to sleep so we didn't need much room! Everything was very clean and updated! The owner and another girl who helped us with check-in were so sweet! We will definitely be back!

Forced out early

We were forced to leave at 7 am Friday the 20th. Police closed beaches and restaurants at 5 pm on Thursday. We were told power and water would be turned off by 10 am Friday morning. We ask for a refund for 1 night stay but have not heard back. Just an FYI the owner should know this property is not being cleaned well either. When we first arrived I bought cleaning products so we felt comfortable. I don’t believe the blankets had all been washed either.
