Had a wonderful time. Only complaint was there was not much hot water at one time. You have to space showers out and keep them short.

This property was an ideal getaway for one, two, or a small family. The setting was spacious and SO peaceful. Gorgeous live oaks. I was sorry to leave.

The beds were comfortable and we loved all the wildlife. The deer and the cows were fun to watch and the trees were gorgeous. The price was good for having our own private house, rather than just renting a room or cabin in town. It was close enough to town to do everything, but far enough out to feel quiet and private.The home is a little outdated, but there is a rustic charm to it. It would have been nice to have a toilet paper holder in the bathroom, and a taller faucet so you didn't have to touch the back of the sink to wash your hands.My mom felt like the closets should have had some hangers available, so she bought a pack and we left some in each closet.I really wish there had been a book telling you about the history of the house and giving recommendations of local things to do, or places to eat. We kept seeing the word "pool", but wasn't sure if it was referring to the hot tub. There was nothing explaining the grounds and how far you could explore. We saw several fences and didn't want to go anywhere we weren't supposed to, so we stayed close to the house. It's very dark at night, so bring a flash light.

Overall the cabin was very nice. Fun seeing the deer outside and it was super quiet! The one issue was the lack of flow in the faucet in the sink in the bathroom. Very slow and took a long time to get warm water. Could not get any hot water out of the kitchen faucet. The shower also had very low pressure and hot water was ok sometimes and sometimes not. The shower in the pool house had a bad smell.

Excellent house and property! House is amazing, nice to be away from crowds but close to town for shopping. Pool is perfect, hot tub was just right. They had the house super clean and they covered all plans to make us feel at home. 10 out of 10 I will be going back time and time again.

Awesome place to stay

We met some friends there for my husbands birthday. The deer greeted us on the first day and hung out the the whole 4 days. The pool was perfect after riding on our motorcycles on a hot day. So many places to check out. I highly recommended this place. Hope to go back soon.

Beautiful spot but some things didn’t live up to expectations

Beautiful scenery and gorgeous views. Overall nice but some things weren’t as expected. Couldn’t find any access to the rest of the acreages, blender was missing pitcher, dishes and cookware needed to be cleaned before using, attempted to use the pool house shower but a horrid stench and the shower drain was bubbling. Beautiful location, just did not live up to expectations in certain areas.

Great private getaway

Perfect place if you are looking for a private all in experience. The pool, hot tub and property was clean and ready for us. Got to sit and enjoy coffee and sight of deers every morning and evening. Host is attentive and very clear check in and out instructions. My dog had an amazing time too.

Gorgeous property, great location

The outside property is gorgeous and very well maintained. The pool and pool house were wonderful and definitely the highlight of our stay. The location to town is great. The house is cozy and just what we needed for our family of three. Our only hope for a future stay would be to have better care towards the cleanliness of the house. The shower curtain liner definitely needs to be replaced and there were food wrappers and crumbs left underneath the couch. Once we gave everything a good wipe down it was an enjoyable stay.

Lovely, peaceful, comfortable

Really clean, has everything you need, loved the pool--pool is clean and perfect temperature. Quiet neighborhood. Loved seeing all the deer and little wildlife. Very comfortable, great place to catch up with friends. (not too many--only two beds. the "bed" in the pool house is a fold-down futon--functional, but would have been weird for one person of the group to have to sleep there. there were three of us so 2 of us just shared the bigger bed.) Overall a great stay but I would say "sleeps 4, a futon" is probably more accurate.

We wanted to love our trip...The air conditioner broke and we had to leave a night early. Managment company never had maintenance come. I have called and emailed Hill Country Premiere Lodging several times. No response.

Absolutely Amazing Private Getaway!

I've stayed in a lot of vacation homes over the past several years, and this one is at the very top of the list. We would come back here in a heartbeat. The house itself is very nice, but the fact that it is completely private and nestled away from the outside world on 10 beautiful acres of trees is what makes it a winner. We didn't see a single person the entire time we were there, but we knew the hosts were just a phone call or text away if needed. (But we never needed them.) It was really nice not to have security cameras watching your every move as well. The pool is absolutely amazing, and the hot tub was great, too. Couldn't ask for anything better when it comes to a private getaway.
