Better last time

This is our second stay. It is always lovely however, the party downstairs the night of our arrival was loud and disruptive. The ceiling in our unit had a leak and fell in upon our arrival and we were turned away for breakfast with our reservation because there was a 2 hr wait.

Fantastic location. Clean, charming apartment with intrinsic character. Great communications with owners- check-in super easy. Would gladly stay again!

Quick beach weekend

Exceptionally cute hotel. Checked in at the restaurant right at dinner opening so had to wait to be assisted as multiple groups of people showed up right behind me, there appeared to be one point person seating all the tables and completing check-in. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were all very personable.

Even better than expected!

I had read reviews on various sites for Simply Panache, and had doubt that they could be real-too many five star, raving reviews. After a weekend here though, I cannot wait until I have the chance to go again! The place was decorated with such taste that my friends and I took pictures before we unpacked. It was beautiful and very tastefully done! Everything was clean, and there were little extras, like cotton balls and q-tips in the bathroom. The included breakfast across the street at Mango Mangeaux was incredibly delicious. There were plenty of other restaurants and bars in walking distance as well. Getting an Uber to Ft. Monroe and Hampton was quick and easy each time. Someone definitely loves what they do and has taken the time to make this little town, and especially this boutique hotel, a destination you can't pass up. I highly recommend you give it a shot, and I will definitely return soon as I can!

We were both surprised and impressed. The building's exterior is misleading, but it hides a gem!

We enjoyed our stay, but there were some things we noticed. First, the mold & mildew smell triggered an allergic skin reaction for one guest, allergy headaches for two, and one guest could not stay because of it. We thought it was mostly coming from the construction site below, but the mold was present in the first bedroom. There was a large amount of ants in the bathroom and kitchen. We ate out, so we did not have to worry about ants being in our food. (BTW, the food at the Mango Bistro was fantastic!! We're still talking about it!). Also, the information said the room would be cleaned during our stay but it wasn't and there was no place to put the trash. The last thing was very minor, no paper towels or napkins. I would add that the Manager that brought the linens to us was very accommodating and we really appreciated her doing that at such late hour. Most importantly, don't let the comments mislead you, we will be back!! The atmosphere and relaxing environment outweighed the the issues above that are easy, quick, fixes.

One of the best accommodation experiences ever!

So impressed with Simply Panache Place! One of the best places I've stayed and I'm an avid traveler! The accommodations were impeccable! Beautiful decor, clean, full kitchen, nice size bedrooms, felt like home. Their restaurant across the street was excellent as well and the extra touch of adding breakfast was a bonus. Then there was the spa around the corner, my massage was wonderful. This was a full service world class experience. Much better than any 5 star hotel! Wonderful location just minutes away from the beach. Owners were consummate professionals with high customer service acumen and made every effort to ensure that we had a positive experience. so many extra touches. They definitely go the extra mile! I will certainly be back and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a positive full package stay experience. I will definitely be back!

Adorable and Clean!

This place is just adorable. Very nicely decorated and cozy. Across the street is Mangeux Mango and the food is amazing with excellent service. The reason I give it 4 stars is only because the plastic mattress cover made sleeping a little clammy. I understand their reason to use one, but there are breathable ones available. But that's the only negative! I would recommend a stay there. The street has several other restaurants that are excellent as well. It's also a good location for Hampton Univ. or if you are going to Buckroe Beach, which is only a couple of miles away.

Upper level of 100 year old building with original wood floors and doors. Beds were comfortable with a/c units in each room. Very nice stay
