Slice of Heaven

I had an incredible stay here. The house is a home, not a rental property, with many lovely personal touches. The view can’t be beat, and the sunsets are sublime. The owner is extremely helpful and easily reachable. My friends and family who came to visit found it comfortable and really relaxing—“you should rent this again “ was the phrase I kept hearing. It was also very cozy when I was there on my own. I hesitate to write such a stellar review because now it will be impossible to get again! Loved it.

Wonderful Spot

The house was fantastic with a beautiful sunset out the back door every night. Even with the most fantastic library in the house, it’s impossible to beat the short stroll down the hill into the Bay. And Cheryl was a delight to deal with throughout the experience. Highly recommend.

Stunning and charming home on the bay

Spectacular weekend in this lovely home perched on a virtually private bay beach. We spent most of our time lounging on the expansive deck; beautiful, comfortable setting for enjoying home cooked meals. Home is designed with great taste; extremely clean and well-organized. Owners are lovely people and very easy to communicate with.

My family has been traveling to Southampton since 2004. To date, this is our favorite place! The view can't be beat. Words can't express what a great time we had and the memories we made will stay with us forever. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, charming home on the bay

Our stay could not have been lovelier! The house is charming and comfortable, and the back yard and deck are the perfect place to relax and unwind while watching the sunset over the bay. The bay beach is just steps away, and the listing is close to the village of Sag Harbor, with its fantastic shops and restaurants. We highly recommend renting this property for a great getaway!

This cottage is such a special place. Not just because it's on a bluff overlooking the Great Peconic Bay which separates the north and south forks of Long Island, New York. But also because this was our primary residence for 14 years where we raised our wonderful daughter. We've since temporarily relocated for her high school years, and would like to share our home so others can make their special memories too.

My husband grew up spending summers on a lake in Canada. So when we decide to relocate from NYC to the Hamptons, his dream was to re-experience those halcyon days. While oceanfront was not in our budget, we came to realize that bayfront offered even greater benefits. First ... SUNSETS! Who doesn't love to sit on their own deck watching what feels like their own sunset?! In addition, there's less wind and warmer air and water temperatures on the bay than the ocean; the beaches are much less populated; and the swimming is more relaxing. All around, finding this house was a stroke of luck and we love where we landed!
