Hermosa casa nueva en prestigioso Banks Road, a corta distancia de la playa y Tippys

Bienvenido a Ocean Trace! Estamos ubicados en el prestigioso Banks Road de Governors Harbour, el lugar más buscado en Eleuthera. Esta zona se llama la Milla de Oro, un tramo de isla con playas de arena rosa, arrecifes de remiendo y grandes restaurantes y caf��s. Estamos a 5 minutos a pie del famoso restaurante y bar frente a Tippy, ya 3 minutos en coche de la hermosa y encantadora ciudad de Governor's Harbour, donde encontrará tiendas de comestibles, restaurantes, cafeterías, licorerías y gasolineras, Casas históricas.

Ocean Trace está a un corto paseo de 150 yardas por nuestro camino hacia una playa ideal con agua azul clara y suave arena rosa. Si te gusta caminar por la playa, puede dirigirse al restaurante de Tippy para comer o aventurarse aún más en la playa Club Med o en las Rocas de Culmer.

La casa está rodeada de vegetación tropical nativa que crea un ambiente tranquilo y privado. Ocean Trace cuenta con espaciosas verandas envolventes, tanto cubiertas como descubiertas, para leer, relajarse, tomar el sol y disfrutar de la refrescante brisa de la isla.

La casa es de una sola planta con techos de 9 pies. Fue construido en 2012 y tiene una decoración costera de buen gusto. El espacio de vida central es ideal para relajarse y entretenerse. Tiene un concepto abierto con dos cómodos sofás que rodean una televisión de pantalla grande con cable y wifi en la habitación familiar. Hay libros, juegos, rompecabezas y películas. El salón fluye en el comedor que tiene una mesa que puede asiento 8. La cocina moderna está equipada con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y da a la sala de estar.

La suite principal tiene un elegante techo de tablas de ciprés y contiene una cama king size. También hay una televisión con cable. El maestro tiene un gran cuarto de baño con walk-in azulejos de ducha, bañera de jardín y dos lavabos. El dormitorio de invitados frente tiene una cama queen size y cuarto de baño con bañera y ducha. El dormitorio de invitados de vuelta tiene dos juegos de literas. Los dormitorios de los huéspedes tienen puertas correderas a la terraza.

La casa tiene aire acondicionado central en todas las habitaciones, así como una lavadora y secadora. Una parrilla de carbón Weber, sillas de playa, sombrillas de playa, tablas de surf y equipos de snorkel se incluyen con el alquiler también.

Amazing beach house!

We loved everything about this beautiful house! Perfect location for us with a private stairway to a pink sand beach. Walk to Tippy's or the Potlatch Club, take out the kayak, snorkel or bask by the heated pool. Great vacation for family of 5, with three teens. Would definitely return!

The area around the home is quiet and safe. The proximity to governors harbor is close, there are several good restaurants and a pretty well stocked grocery store. The distance from governors harbor airport is about an hour and fifteen minutes, but it’s not a bad drive. The beach is beautiful and very private. The private pool was also great. We had it to ourselves the entire time. Carol is a pleasure and very helpful. I cannot say anything negative about our stay! Thank you having us!!

The pool was always clean and inviting. Everything we could have needed for the beach and pool was available. Beach access was very easy to get to and so close. We used the kayak a few times! Location was the best. Close to the market, liquor store, gift shop, coffee shop, and beaches of course. Our property manager, Carol, was so kind and welcoming. She was quick to help us with any problems! Overall, this was the best family vacation we have been on, and it’s partly due to the wonderful house we called home for the week!!

Easy to get to. Local grocery stores and places to eat. The house was so clean and the towels and bedding smelled to good. We loved the access to the beautiful beach. The house also had great amenities with the pool and the beach chairs and kayaks down by the beach. It was also a very private location so quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend the house and the great staff at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals. They were on top of everything and helpful for whatever we needed and easy to reach and work with.

Reviewer Comments: My wife and I and two friends stayed here for eight days at Gumbo Limbo and everything is as advertised in the description and in the pictures. The house was well stocked with all the kitchen essentials, it also has plenty of beach towels and beach equipment. The location on Banks Road is excellent and it is just a short one to two minute walk to the beach from the house. The pool, with its lush, tropical setting, is very peaceful and quiet. The Eleuthera Vacation Rentals staff is always excellent to deal with (shout out to Carol!) and they will always take care of you. I would not hesitate to book this house for your next vacation!

After 10 days we were sad to be leaving what we decided was the a top 2 vacation house experience we’ve ever had!!Everything was perfect, from the location, the heated pool, the cleanliness.But what set this house apart from many other homes we have stayed in was the amazing comfort throughout the house.From the bed, to the various seating throughout the inside of the house.But our favorite spot was the covered outdoor porch with com, high quality seating. A+!The beach was across the street and the house had many beach chairs and accessories.We highly recommend this home and will be back!

Just little details

Our stay was great in general. We enjoyed it and loved the proximity to the beach. We have been to Eleuthera many times over the years and generally know what to expect. Only a couple of areas for suggested improvement: 1) Pool seemed to have remnants of a sealant or plastic protective covering or something delaminating. It made the pool experience less than optimal. 2) The outdoor front and rear porch ceiling fans didn't work. That is an important part of sitting outside in the heat that made spending time outside a challenge for us. 3) Typically we assume a base level of soap and shampoo are provided(like a hotel size) when renting a place of this level. We often don't pack those items because they are usually provided. There were no toiletries provided and it's hard to find those things conveniently on the island so not an ideal situation. 4) The recommended car rental company was less then desireable. The car was very old, AC worked only on full high fan, radio didn't work, generally worn out. I saw many rentals on the island that were top notch and newer and will be sure an pursue one of those in the future. I suggest you recommend those sources as well.

Beautiful house with some limitations

Overall had a wonderful stay at Gumbo Limbo, however, be aware that this house does not have an operating generator, and power outages occurred every other day while we were there. Can be a bit uncomfortable in 90+ degree heat. Outdoor fans are also inoperable, as is the outdoor shower. No outdoor gas grill, only charcoal, limiting with charcoal being $30 a bag. Good beach gear, aside from no snorkel masks. Good location, just down the road from Tippy’s, with fairly easy beach access across the road.

Vacation Paradise

This property was perfect for us. We had privacy in our bedroom plus private bath, and our daughter and family had their own bedrooms/bath on the other side of the cottage, with common space between. Perfect layout. Having the pool to jump into at any time of the day was wonderful, with lots of comfortable outdoor furniture. Well-outfitted kitchen allowed us to make most meals on site and save some costs. The washer and dryer were a bonus with children. We appreciated the beach towels provided, plus everything one might need, as we travelled from Canada with minimal luggage. Being able to walk to some sites was great. The beach was just a few minutes' walk away, and it was gorgeous and non-crowded every day. Eleuthera is a gorgeous island, and I think we stayed at the best location to explore it. The weather stayed sunny and hot each day, and we enjoyed every minute of it! We would love to return here another winter.

A perfect paradise

I cannot say enough good things about Gumbo Limbo! We traveled here with two 10 year olds and a 3 year old. The location is top notch. This house is on the most beautiful beach on Eleuthera. Sometimes we even wondered why we left to do other things. The house is so beautiful and comfortable. The pool is pristine! Having Tippys just right down the street was also perfect! I hope we can make it back to this paradise.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ocean Trace was the first of two rental homes my friends and I stayed in during our visit to Eleuthera. What a nice, clean welcome Ocean Trace provided. The home is spacious, bright, cool and clean. A home away from home. We did not want for anything in this well-equipped and comfortably furnished home. We had easy to access Wi-Fi, cable TV, movies, games and every appliance and item of cookware you could want. An added bonus is the expansive decking around the home. The deck furniture is comfortable and gives plenty of cover from the sun. Arnold and Patsy greeted us warmly and took their time giving us a tour of the home and orienting us to the location. Speaking of location; Ocean Trace is a short walk (basically the edge of the property) to a deeded path and wood steps down to the beach. If you feel like taking a longer walk up Banks Road or the beach you will find a well-established restaurant and bar called Tippys. Ocean Trace is located only a short drive to the town of Governors Harbour which has everything you need; grocery stores, gas station, bakery, liquor stores, restaurants, etc. An easy trip that we ended up doing daily for one thing or another. Of course, the beach (the main thing we come to Eleuthera for) is incredible. The beach is clean, quiet and absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the relative solitude and found every passerby to be friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Trace and would recommend this home for a comfortable vacation stay. This home is perfect for a family or two with children as the 3rd bedroom offers bunks that will sleep four. The staff at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals, Pam, Matt & Tara, will be honest and helpful in determining if Ocean Trace is the right fit. I hope it will be and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Ocean Trace Perfect Beach House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house across the street from the most beautiful beach! Walking distance to Tippy’s ! Fun restaurant and bar right on the beach. The house is clean, well stocked and so pretty. It has a great deck to lounge, and outside shower. This was our 2nd time back to Ocean Trace. We’re going back!

Great house but…

We loved staying at Gumbo Limbo. The beach is gorgeous. The house was better than the pictures. Eleuthera is fantastic. Only issue we had was that there is a pool advertised to be completed in February but it was not completed when we arrived in April.
