Hay un televisor de pantalla grande y una mesa de billar en este espacio, así como un futón reina. En el nivel inferior hay tres dormitorios. Dormitorio principal tiene una cama king y un amplio paseo en la ducha. Los otros dos dormitorios tienen 2 camas de matrimonio. Las sábanas y las toallas están incluidas.  Al aire libre es un hermoso espacio ajardinado. El lado del agua cuenta con cubiertas fuera de la casa y un patio para el pozo de fuego que se encuentra cerca del agua. We came for a week for a family vacation and had a great time! Our main goal was to have a place where our dog and daughter could swim and it was accomplished! The house really feels like it is it own oasis and away from neighbors. We really enjoyed the beach even with the lily pads that line the clearing. The cano and pabble board are a great touch! The house definitely is a bit funky, some stairways not to code, and I would say the beds aren't very comfortable but for a group like ours that can go with the flow we really enjoyed ourselves.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was okay I wish I would’ve been told about the ants it was really disgusting. I also ask someone that had called me to check in with us for a rack to clean the yard that is full of goose poop. Never got a call back. For as much as it cost I thought it would’ve been better.

The house is pretty much as advertised. Nothing luxurious but everything you need for a house on a lake! It’s close enough to town but remote enough to “get away”. We did have some issues that were reported during our stay:The house wasn’t totally clean upon arrival. The kitchen floor had crumbs and sticky residue. There was trash under several beds and bathroom vanities. They did send a clean up crew to pick up the trash and clean the kitchen floor again. The washing machine left orange/rust colored stains on several pieces of clothing which we still can’t remove after traveling home and using multiple stain removers, etc,The ice dispenser didn’t work and you couldn’t manually get ice.The front door keypad didn’t light up/lock and started beeping constantly by the last day.We had to handwash almost every single dish we used as nothing was cleaned properly.There was visible dust/sand under pool table and other furniture.We had young kids and they enjoyed the paddle boat and the toys on the beach. Adult and child life jackets were also included (not infant).Plenty of space for 8 people!

This was an excellent location for a family vacation. Close to summer camps, Moomer’s Ice Cream, Traverse City and many lakeside activities and destinations. Some things that might be taken into consideration by housekeeping when there is a full house staying for a long duration…Although plenty of bath towels were provided, it was skimpy on washcloths, kitchen towels and silverware. It should also be known that the third bedroom is more of an add-on. Its ‘closet’ houses the water heater and/or water softener. At night, it often casts a red light and makes loud noises.The 3rd bedroom is not recommended for someone over 6 ft tall. The ceilings are very low. It also had spotty WiFi and poor or no TV reception.Nonetheless, a good time was had and fond memories were made. The house was enjoyed by all, especially those who were not so tall.

Great Amenities for Long Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with the rental location and amenities. Overall, it was a great experience. The cabin we originally booked had an issue arise prior to our arrival and the booking company was able to transfer us to a different cabin within the same area. Communication throughout the process was quick and efficient. However, as someone with allergies I feel it is important to note that there was an excessive amount of dog hair on the furnishings and it was evident that the property had not been deep cleaned (dust, toilet with pee dried onto the seat, etc.) we decided to give the company the benefit of the doubt as this may have been due to the unexpected change of cabins. Would stay again.

The view was everything!

The view from the living room is wonderful. We didn't even turn the tv on during our stay. Sitting on the deck for morning coffee was calm and quiet. Lots of wildlife to watch. The bedrooms on the lower level had trouble connecting to wifi. But overall our stay was great!

Looked forward to an escape.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very disappointed in a house that cost as much as this one. For what we recieved we could have stayed in a nice hotel for much less. The house was dirty, the yard was very weedy. The lower deck needs to be replaced, not even safe to walk on but you wouldn't walk on it because of the weeds. Touched the blinds and they fell off. Kitchen had tiles missing, when we called to discuss we were told this was the owners responsibility. The floors had dirt on them like they weren't cleaned, but we sure had to have it all ready to go by 10 am on check out day. Skip this place.

S’More Week

Sunrise and sunset were beautiful from the large window in the living area. Having the kayak was a nice plus for us. The property management group were simply Awesome. I called with questions several time and they were always helpful and responsive.

Great location, decent house.

Overall we had a good time on our trip, but it had a rough start. Upon arrival the code we were given for the keypad did not work and we had to call the after hours line. It was then told to us they knew they keypad wasn’t working from the previous renter, we were directed to keys other locations on the property. I was called the day before to verify I had received the check in information, knowing the keypad didn’t work would have been helpful to know and would have saved a phone call later. After getting into the house we found dirty towels piled high in the laundry room, all beds unmade, and the house had not been cleaned. Another call was made to the after hours line. They did take care of it with an emergency cleaning and had people there within an hour (shoutout to the ladies that did come, they were very apologetic and focused on everything we asked). But it was a quick cleaning and trying to entertain small children who want to explore and are hungry after traveling was a challenge. It was a rough start but the lake was beautiful. Perfect for swimming, canoeing and kayaking.

The property was perfectly set up for my 3 adult sons and their significant others/friends. The pool table in the upper level family room is perfect! The views of the lake were a huge bonus. Huge accommodating kitchen for all 10 of us for games and dining.

Great place to stay

We all had fun in the play room. Kitchen was stocked well. Beds were comfy. Plenty of room for a family vacation. One of the showers leaked so that should be addressed. Overall a great place.

Perfect Family Weekend

Our family weekend of 8 adults and 1 grandchild(4 yrs) fit very comfortably into the home. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds and view of the lake. The upper pool/entertainment room and kitchen were great for us all to gather. Great location for venturing out too.

Great location but could use some TLC

The location and view of the home was fantatsic. You have a beautiful view of Bass Lake from every room and the game room woth pool table was a huge plus. Short drive to downtown TC and other attractions. The main complaint was the water smelled extremely badly of sulfur. Property manager told us to just run all the taps and open the windows but this only helped a little bit and the smell was still there by the end of our short stay. They never sent anyone out to look at the water softener (which is clearly the problem). Other things we noticed that could be improved were small but would make a big difference. The tile in the main entrance is cracked and broken, garbage recepticles outaide were overfilled when we arrived, bedding was stained, and the floors were filled with sand and dust. Overall minor problems and a good place to stay.

Reviewer Comments: Bass Lake is a smaller lake with much less boating activity than Silver, Long or Spider Lakes - which makes it ideal for kayaking and fishing. The house is very close to the water but shrubs are beginning to take over the pier. The house is a lovely retreat to bring the family to. I do wish there was a curtain over the bedroom door (which leads to a nice deck) because the morning sun is very bright coming thru the patterned film over the glass in the door. The property management company is amazing - we had no water when we awoke on a Sunday morning - called the emergency number and Jack had a plumber there within the hour. Found the well pump was not working and needed a "well" guy to check it out. On a Sunday? Right. Again, Jack came through and the well pump was replaced, which was a fascinating operation to watch.

Property was nice. The only thing I would say is the stairs are not great, a few in our family slipped on the stairs. We were in town for a wedding so only had a short stay.

Absolutely Wonderful

We had such a fun time staying at Smores fun. Our group came up for a soccer tournament, the kids had a blast being able to play outside, had space inside to play, and enjoyed the ping pong/Foosball/pool tables. The house was clean and well set up for our stay. Close drive to town and restaurants. Would recommend and will also look into it next time we're in town. Thank you!
