About the property

Fabulous location 1-block from the Seine and the Musee d'Orsay

This elegant 1-bedroom apartment located between the Musee d'Orsay and the rue du Bac on a quiet, sought after street, has been decorated and renovated to a high standard with quality materials and furnishings. This property is suitable for a couple, for two individuals or for a couple and an additional adult.

Situated between two courtyards, the apartment is located on the ground floor and therefore has high ceilings. Beautiful parquet wood floors add warmth to both rooms as do the linen and cotton shades and curtains. On your left, from the entrance the bright living/dining room looks out onto a huge courtyard, of which one wall is almost entirely a window. A high quality sofa bed converts to trundle beds. Across from the sofa is a table which can seat up to four guests, but which can also be folded down to seat only two. Novels, tourist guides, art books and museum guides have been provided for your convenience.

Leaving the living room, immediately on the left across from the entrance closet, you will find a German-made compact kitchen designed to include a maximum number of appliances in a small space. There is a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stovetop, mini-oven, tea kettle and Nespresso maker. The well stocked kitchen has enough plates, silverware and cookware to prepare meals as you would at home.

To the right of the entrance is the bedroom with queen-sized bed. Wall lights on either side of the bed allow for independent reading and warm ceiling lights provide a cozy atmosphere. The bedroom looks out onto a courtyard and is extremely quiet. Across from the bed is a flat screen TV and chest of drawers. There are over 100 channels available including the main English language channels.

From the bedroom, you access the gorgeous bathroom fitted with Duravit furniture and a beautiful large tiled shower. A niche built into the tiles will hold your shower cosmetics and there is plenty of shelf space for toiletries. The bathroom also includes an efficient combination washer dryer which does a good job drying clothes quickly.

Plush towels and high end Egyptian cotton bed linens are final touches.

Please contact the owner who will be glad to provide you with more details on this lovely property which, in our opinion, is in one of the best locations for your vacation in Paris.

Book now! No extra or hidden costs on our end.

great location, most comfortable bed

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is at a great location. It's convenient to a lot of attractions and in a really nice neighborhood with shops for everything. Even the taxi driver commented so. Communication with the owner, Stacey and the greeter, Valery, were easy and prompt. Written direction were given for everything which was very clear. The apartment is small for American standards but very well appointed and equipment with everything you would need. The bathroom is spacious with perfect water pressure and temperature (which is not always the case in Europe). The bed is so comfortable that my mom wanted to buy the same bed and bedding for our home! The ground floor location is also a deciding factor for my father who has difficulty climbing stairs. I strongly recommend this apartment!

Perfect place to stay!!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and it was so close to the Seine! The size of the apartment was just right for the 3 of us as we didn't spend much time there. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable! The ability to be able to do laundry was great! I would definitely stay here again!

5 stars for April in Paris

  • 5 of 5

I was fortunate to spend a month in this lovely apartment. E-mail communications with Stacey were clear and prompt. I was warmly greeted at the apartment by Valerie, who reviewed how everything in the apartment worked. I've rented apartments in Paris several times, and no one has ever waited with me to ensure that I could operate the door locks. I really appreciated this, as the locking mechanisms are so different than in the United States.

The best things about the apartment are the comfort and quality of both the double bed and of the trundle bed and of the linens. The bathroom shower was excellent, and the washer/dryer, dishwasher and small appliances all worked. There was noise from the building stairs, and from residents recycling wine bottles after midnight, or before dawn.

I love the Rue du Bac area, and the Tuileries Gardens, so this location was ideal. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The location was perfect! It was an easy walk from the subway and someone was waiting for us with a smile when we arrived to let us in and to explain everything we needed to know about the apartment. We didn't really cook, but had a simple breakfast and coffee in the mornings before we headed out for the day. If we wanted to cook, the kitchen appeared to have the basic necessities needed to do simple meals. The owners had coffee in the closet for us to enjoy (thank you!) The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was very roomy! We were able to walk to the major art museums, the Opera House, and the Eiffel Tower very easily. Even though we were in close proximity to all of these attractions, the apartment was on a side street and was quiet. There were plenty of awesome restaurants nearby and also a grocery store - very convenient. There was a very good restaurant right next door (we ate there twice) and a very good Indian place across the street. I highly recommend this apartment!

Car: not necessary

This is just a fabulous location. You are steps from the rue du Bac, from the Musee d'Orsay and you also have a fabulous restaurant, le Cinq Mars, right next door. There is a high-end Monoprix right up the street on the rue du Bac and a dangerously supply of upmarket clothing and shoe stores. I picked the apartment mainly for the location, but not only, as it is located on a lovely quiet street, yet in the heart of the best neighborhood in Paris.
