We stayed for 5 days. We loved the size of the home -plenty of room for us to cook, relax, play cards, watch TV. (We even baked homemade apple pie while there). It was close to our destination, clean, quiet, comfortable. And while we didn’t have kids with us, we loved the cute little playroom for younger children. We are planning on going back the next time we go to Houston.

Our group of 4 adults and 2 kids had an okay stay here. The number of rooms was accurate as advertised, mattresses were comfortable, and the a/c worked well. The foosball table was a hit and we especially liked the kid-friendly touches, such as board games and step stools in various spots. The drawback was that we had a number of issues that the host was initially responsive about, but then responses suddenly dropped off. The first two main issues were the wifi not working (which I resolved myself by troubleshooting the router) and the driveway gate not working (which we just decided to avoid, and parked on the street). Regarding these two issues, the host was very responsive. I subsequently noticed and shared a number of other issues for the host's awareness and to improve for future guests, such as: laundry dryer does not heat up at all, microwave had old food in it, a room closet had a pot on the floor to catch leaks, a dining chair had a loose leg and was about to fall apart, most of the tv remotes were missing batteries and didn't work, and floor tiles in the living room were loose and cracked. I did not ask for all of the issues to be resolved, only for the dryer to be fixed. The host did not respond to this. When I messaged the host to let them know that we had left and followed the check-out instructions, also no response. TLDR: Generally not a bad stay if you are not planning to do laundry or park in the driveway.
