An Absolute Dream Stay!Carol and Martin’s home in Rotonda West is beyond incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The pool was the perfect place to relax, with a gorgeous view of the golf course that made every morning and evening feel like a postcard. Beaches were just minutes away, and there was so much to do and see in the area—it truly had the best of everything. The house itself was even more stunning than the photos (which hardly do it justice!). Every detail was thoughtfully designed—the brand new Weber grill, cozy fireplace, and fresh new furniture made the space feel like it was cut straight out of a magazine. Everything was spotless, modern, and so inviting that it felt like home instantly—only better! This was one of those rare stays where everything was just perfect. We already know we’ll be coming back again and again. Thank you, Carol and Martin, for sharing your slice of paradise with us!
Absolutely incredible sunsets!!

Thank you so much for this incredible review—we truly appreciate you taking your time to share your experience! What you described is exactly what makes Rotonda West such a special place. It’s one of those rare destinations where you can wake up to peaceful golf course views, spend your afternoons relaxing poolside, and then be on some of Florida’s most beautiful Gulf beaches just minutes later. The balance of quiet, laid-back surroundings with so many nearby activities is what keeps guests coming back year after year. We also love that you highlighted how much there is to do—from beaches and golf to exploring the surrounding coastal areas. Whether it’s a sunset at nearby Boca Grande, shelling along the shoreline, or simply enjoying a quiet evening by the pool, this area really does offer “the best of everything.” And we couldn’t agree more—the attention to detail in the home truly makes it stand out. It’s designed to feel elevated yet comfortable… the kind of place where you settle in quickly and don’t want to leave. We’re thrilled to hear this was one of those “perfect stays,” and even more excited that you’re already planning to return. That’s the ultimate compliment. Looking forward to hosting you again soon—your spot in paradise will be waiting!

Rental Property Review: Rotonda West, Florida Our Stay from Late December 2025 through April 1, 2026 We spent the winter months in Rotonda West, Florida, renting a home from late December 2025 until April 1, 2026. After such a positive experience, we've already decided to renew for the same period in 2027. It's rare to find a place that truly feels like a home away from home, and this property exceeded our expectations in every way. The listing for the house is spot-on: the pictures and description are accurate, but honestly, they don't capture how inviting and comfortable the space really is. Walking in, the relaxing atmosphere hits you right away, and the attention to detail is clear throughout. The outdoor kitchen and TV area quickly became our favorite spot. Whether grilling dinner or watching a game, it’s the heart of the home for both entertaining and unwinding. The pool is just as described—sparkling and perfect for a post-golf dip, making every afternoon feel like a mini vacation. Another highlight is the property’s location, backing up to the 6th hole of The Palms course at Rotonda West Country Club. If you’re a golfer, you’ll love the convenience and view. Plus, you’re close to Engelwood Beach, Boca Grande, and a variety of local restaurants, so there’s always something to do and great food nearby. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making the house welcoming. The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped, especially for anyone who enjoys

Hi, we’re Carol and Martin!
We live in Michigan and love spending time outdoors and exploring new places—especially along the water. We’ve always appreciated clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked spaces when we travel, and that’s exactly what we aim to offer our guests.

We’re not new to VRBO—we also host two vacation rentals in Michigan and bring that same care and attention to this Florida home.

We fell in love with the peaceful charm of Rotonda West and designed this space as a retreat for rest, fun, and connection. When we visit, we want it to feel like home—and we hope it feels that way for you, too. Everything is stocked with just the right touches for comfort and ease.

Whether you're here for the golf, the beaches, or just to unwind by the pool, we hope you feel relaxed, refreshed, and welcome. We're hands-on, responsive hosts—and always just a message away if you need anything during your stay.
Our goal is simple: for you to enjoy it so much, you can’t wait to come back.

Why they chose this property

We were drawn to Rotonda West for its peaceful setting, beautiful golf courses, and easy access to some of Florida’s best beaches. It’s a quiet, friendly community that feels tucked away—yet everything you need is close by, from local restaurants and nature trails to boating and shopping.

What we love most is the feeling of calm the moment you arrive. Whether you're sipping coffee on the lanai, watching golfers from the backyard, or heading out to explore nearby Englewood or Boca Grande, there's a sense of space and simplicity here that's hard to find elsewhere.

The neighborhood is perfect for morning walks, sunset bike rides, and just slowing down. It offers the best of both worlds: natural beauty and convenience—plus a whole lot of sunshine.

What makes this property unique

This home was designed with comfort, connection, and relaxation in mind—whether you're here for a quiet getaway or to entertain family and friends. What sets it apart is the balance of modern coastal style, thoughtful amenities, and seamless indoor-outdoor living.

Guests love the full wall of sliding glass doors that opens the living area to the shaded lanai and private heated pool, creating an easy, breezy connection between inside and out. The built-in outdoor wet bar—complete with a 58” Smart TV, sink, beverage fridge, and both grill and griddle—makes it an entertainer’s dream.

Inside, you’ll find a spacious open-concept living room with a 75” Smart TV and electric fireplace, perfect for movie nights or catching the big game. The kitchen is fully stocked (including a Henckels knife set), and the home comes with thoughtful extras like beach gear, board games, and multiple outdoor dining spaces.

Set along The Palms Golf Course and just minutes from beaches, boating, and nature preserves, this home offers the ideal mix of privacy, comfort, and convenience.
It’s more than just a rental—it’s your own personal retreat.
