We had an incredible stay at this beautiful farmhouse-style home on Guemes Island. We were there for my niece’s wedding, and this home became the perfect retreat for our family — a place where we could relax, recharge, and enjoy time together.The house is absolutely stunning: spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. It easily accommodated our group, with room for at least 10 guests. The gourmet kitchen was amazing, the bedrooms were inviting with high-quality linens and towels, and each bedroom had its own heating and cooling unit for extra comfort.The entertainment spaces were exceptional. The movie theater with a huge screen and eight leather reclining chairs was such a fun bonus, and the garage had a wonderful ping-pong table, games, and even two electric bikes to enjoy the island.The outdoor spaces were just as special. The hot tub tucked near the edge of the forest was peaceful and relaxing. The patio with heaters, a fire pit, cozy couches, and blankets created the perfect gathering spot in the evenings.What really made our stay memorable were the thoughtful touches from our host, Jennie. She welcomed us with beautiful ceramic magnets she made of the island and even brought us a hand-decorated box of fresh eggs from her chickens. Those personal touches made us feel truly cared for.The home was clean, welcoming, comfortable, and felt like a true getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for such a special weekend.
