Esta unidad tiene una vista al mar desde su propio balcón privado. Colony Reef is always a great choice

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Colony Reef is a yearly go to for our family. This unit served that purpose for us this summer. I will say the dining chairs are extremely uncomfortable. Our family spends time Sitting between meals and playing games, so it wasn’t as great of an experience in the past with more comfortable units. This unit has great curtains in the master to block the sun from waking too early if family wants to sleep in.

Great Vacation

We loved our unit and although we were in building 3 and farther away from the beach, it was quiet in our building and we still had a beautiful view from the top floor. Our unit was very well furnished and had great pans and cookware. The bedding and linens were all very nice. My only complaint is that the Master Bedroom Mattress needed replacing. It has a big dip in the middle. Other than that, we had a really nice time.

Needs a better cleaning

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we got to the condo we were locked out because the storm door was locked. Had problems several times with the latch catching and locking. Office said they would put in a work and never did. We finally spoke with maintenance and they fixed it the next day. We found an empty donut bag under a cushion, smashed blueberries under he bed in the master, and a bag of gum under the bed in the 2nd bedroom.

Fabulous Family Fun

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From start to finish our time in room 3404 at Colony Reef Club in St. Augustine was fabulous. Check in was easy and the girl at the desk was pleasant and informative. There were plenty of carts located next to the elevators to use to carry our belongings upstairs. Room 3404 is conveniently located near the elevator. The condo was clean and decorated nicely. We had plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. The view from this condo was beautiful. The large balcony gave us plenty of space for the kids to play and the adults to relax. The full size washer and dryer was a plus. There were plenty of cooking utensils, pans, dishes, etc. We only cooked in a couple of times as we decided to try some of suggested restaurants. We enjoyed Sunset Grille, Saltwater Cowboy, Oasis, Beachcomber, and Island Donuts. All were delicious and in close proximity to the condo. We drove 15 minutes to downtown St. Augustine where we enjoyed the trolley ride, St. George Street and The Fountain of Youth. We even made a return trip the next night for a wonderful evening celebrating our daughter’s birthday at Harry’s. Our grandson loved the “kiddie pool” and our granddaughter loved the big pool and the beach/ocean. They both enjoyed the playground. All the outdoor areas were clean and well maintained. This was our first trip to St. Augustine beach and the Colony Reef Club. Our family had a fabulous time and hope to return soon.

This resort is close to many fabulous restaurants such as The Purple Olive, Violas, and Black Molly. We enjoyed the many amenities and especially the indoor pool. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. Make sure to visit them and find out their recommendations and explore St Augustine. It is a real treasure. The condo was huge, plenty of space, clean and the beds were so comfy. The view was spectacular. We loved everyday even when it rained. No complaints!

We also liked being able to rent the chairs and umbrellas from Drifters. It was nice not having to bring chairs or umbrella from home.

3rd stay at Colony reef

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third stay at Colony Reef. Main concern was walkway to beach was in need of much repair. In 3 years there has been nothing done to repaint caution markers on steps. Also warped boards and sticking up. Gate was broken the last few weeks we were there, was not secured. Building itself needs maintenance on ceilings. Stairwells were in good shape. Our unit was clean but needed ceiling repair and patio screen and front bedroom windows, seals broken and need repair. Tennis courts were in great shape.

Instead of forcing us to deal with the heat, management moved us to a comparable unit down the hall. Finishings and views were great, and the beach was walking distance and amazing. Highly recommended.

Weekend Summer Getaway 2019

Our son also had a friend join us. We loved our unit. It was very well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the view was spectacular. We will definitely consider staying at this condo complex and hopefully the same unit in the future.
