Was a great time had everything thye said they did as on other reviews the walk back from the dock is a workout but its totally worth it some tight roads on the way in and out but again its worth it great views and great place nice and quite had fun woth the family 10/10
Beautiful lake home! Beds were comfortable. Spacious living room, large dinning table and well stocked kitchen. The washer and dryer were extremely convenient. The WiFi worked well most of the time except for one day when it was extremely windy. We used it a fair amount since it rained almost the entire week. Complimentary coffee, popcorn and bottle water are a nice touch. We enjoyed the great outdoor living spaces: large deck with patio table and chairs as well as another area with fire pit and seating around it. There is a large dock and part of it is covered which was convenient when it got too hot or when it rain. We fished even when it rain because of the covered area. We purposely chose this place because it has two kayaks and life jackets. The only thing I would caution anyone looking into renting this place is to make sure everyone in your party is mobile enough to go up and down many stairs (with some steeper areas) to get to the dock/lake area. It is a bit of a trek. We had no problem going up or down since we are used to this type of set up and everyone in our family is fairly fit. Overall, we had a relaxing week and highly recommend this place. The host is great and and was prompt to communicate. Thank you and hopefully we will return in a near future!
The house was great. Very quiet area. We loved being on the water with access to kayaks. There are a few minor updates/repairs needed but the house was clean and stocked.
The house was great. It was very clean and had what we needed. The deck area was nice. We enjoyed the birds and watching a squirrel build a nest. We are seniors so it was a little difficult to get down to the dock for us.
Overall it was great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because there was dog hair all over the master bed when we arrived. On the sheets and pillow cases. We washed them and it was all good from there.

Wonderful Experience
Property owner is a very nice man and extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend the property and look forward to going back sometime soon.
A nice house in the woods with everything we needed for a great relaxing time away from the daily stresses. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. I would definitely stay at this house again and bring the boat next time.

Thank you for the kind review! We would love to have you return, and yes please bring the boat!
The house is very beautiful and comfortable also well outfitted with dishes, pot and pans. We like to cook when we stay. The walk to and from the water is steep but the stairs and ramps are well maintained. Our adult children enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock.
Great cabin on Grand Lake! Our family of 5 really enjoyed our time there! Dock is perfect for your boat/jet ski, kids enjoyed fishing from the dock too! Located off the main part of the lake, and provides some shelter from wind and other boat traffic. The walk up from the dock could prove challenging for older adults or those with health issues.
Loved the house. Well stocked kitchen and baths. Very comfortable beds in all 3 bedrooms! Very nice deck and heavily wooded surroundings. Steps/walk down to the lake was long but all 4 of us 70+ people handled it just fine. Dock area is very nice too. Would definitely stay here again!
This is an adorable cabin listed exactly correct. Check in was easy, and the roads are passable. There are 2 ways to get there, the second way is a better road. The dock and kayaks were a blast, but getting up from the dock is a cardio work out! Morning works are a good workout as well. It’s uphill both ways!
This house was cozy, clean, and decorated nicely. Has a great deck off the living room. But note that it is a hard walk back up to the house from the dock. But the dock is nice and we enjoyed using the kayaks in the cove. The location is ok, I got a little carsick anytime we went anywhere, but the neighborhood is pretty quiet.
Good stay, relaxing, disappointed not life jackets for the kayaks. But a great stay none the less. Wasp nest in the metal siding, our youngest was stung but she is a trooper and didn't let it phase her. Nice Kitten at the home and a beautiful fox in the back yard in the morning. All in all a great stay.

From the owners: "Thanks for the review, James! We are thrilled you all had a great time and appreciate the heads up on the lifejackets and wasps. We usually have lifejackets available in the dock box, but it sounds like they have disappeared once again. I will be sure to get a couple more down there asap. We'll also have our cleaning crew do a thorough check for wasps around the exterior of the property. This time of year, they tend to quickly set up nests before we can get to them. Sounds like you have one tough kiddo there, glad it didn't phase her! Thanks again for the review, and look forward to hopefully having you back soon!"
Family was able to enjoy individually as well as together due to the good use of space when designing this getaway! We enjoyed the deck, dock and the kayaks as well as brought our own so we all could kayaking together. Need blow dryers! LOL
