Es una casa deseñada con la más apreciación al detalle (la casa da a la mejor dirección para capturar los vientos alisios refrescantes). Los techos abovedados y puertas y ventanas de cristal dan una estética moderna mientras que les invitan a las aires tropicals dentro de la propiedad privada y estimada.
Esta casa se ofrece la vida en el interior y el exterior igualitos. Tiene 4 dormitorios y 4 baños completos en dos plantas con el plan de planta invertida.

La primera planta contiene el salón en el aire libre, la primera habitación muy privada con baño completo, la segunda habitacion, una mesa de comedor, grill, y terraza alredador de la piscina. El paisaje tropical y lozano cubre la casa en una jungla de verde con unas vistas del mar Caribe como su escenario principle!
Todos los colores de bougainvillea, flamboyant, and los arboles mimosas son impresionantes! También hay un cuarto de lavado en la primera planta.

Llega a la segunda planta por las escaleras centrales que se abren a un salón grande con techo abovedado y comedor y concina juntos. Hay dos dormitorios y tres baños completos también.

La propiedad tiene una valla completa alredador del patio y un portón automático.

Relaxing Vacation

Our stay was relaxing and exactly what we needed. With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, four days of waking up to a beautiful sunrise and my grandchildren summing in the pool all day, a dream. I highly recommend, Casa Mañana in Vieques, Puerto Rico.

The home is well suited for families, with lots of space to spread out. The view and pool were wonderful, and Hannah was responsive and helpful throughout our stay.A few minor things came up. Trash pickup didn’t occur during our week, and there was already trash in the bin when we arrived (trash pick up on Vieques can be sporadic). The washing machine was a bit tricky to figure out (a double light means you need to press start again) and there was a known issue with a glass window and lack of lighting in one bathroom that the host was aware of.While a cleaning fee is included, cleanliness could be improved. We noticed some hair in the refrigerator and a few old items left under the grill when we arrived, including visible roach traps throughout.Overall, the house is charming and in a great location. With a bit more attention to cleaning and routine maintenance and TLC, it could be an even better experience.

An absolutely gorgeous house and a wonderful pool at the center of everything. Short drives to gorgeous beaches, great restaurants and beautiful sights! The owners are very helpful and Aurelio Rosa, the property manager, is fantastic! We didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful home with plenty of room! Perfect oasis to relax after exploring the beaches all day! Great location close to all but far enough out of town. Only sounds were the tree frogs at night! Pool and outdoor living spaces were lovely! Would definitely recommend!

Perfect staycation

If you want the perfect place to disconnect from your routine, this is the place to rent. Communication with owner is amazing and the Vibe of the property makes you feel right at home. It is a beautiful place ♥️ P.S.: You don’t need to bring almost anything the house have about everything you need! And dont worry about the A/C the property is very breezy

Thank you so much for your review. It's a wonderful place to stay even if you hardly make it to the beach. 2023 Edit; I have added A/C to all 4 bedrooms. Most of the year I don't use it, I want all the windows open to feel the breeze and at night I've got to have the coqui song! But ...sometimes it's just stinkin' hot. Nice to have it.

So relaxing

The house was wonderful-great views, steady breezes and easy to just relax. Our college-aged daughters and us filled our desire to relax and be with each other. With the island of Vieques so small, everything was within a 20 minute car ride. We loved all of the restaurants and also enjoyed cooking at the house. The owners were super accommodating and the property manager was attentive. We loved our time there!

Relaxation Haven

If you are looking for relaxation this is the location for you. We had such an amazing time. Aurelio was amazing, seriously he is a true gem. Anything you can think of for a property to have they have it. It’s so unfortunate that the property will not be available much longer because we would definitely make this an annual trip.

Thank you Nicole! 2023 Edit; Life has taken a very sad turn. My husband and I did retire and move here full-time in 2021, but he died unexpectedly 6 months later from a massive heart attack. I did not make any decisions right away, I grieved for more than a year, then moved to a one bedroom here on the island. So now it is for rent when our "kids+families" aren't here visiting. I am always available to help renters and Aurelio (he owns Rosa's Hardware now) has been instrumental in my ability to maintain the home without Kevin. I wouldn't still be here without this wonderful and supportive community. I feel so blessed.

A view from on high

Thoroughly enjoyed this house, especially all the outdoor spaces. The pool was wonderful, even though a large iguana decided it was his one afternoon! He departed without even a thank you… the views to the south were spectacular and we could see the weather approaching from afar. Glorious clouds and sunrises. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable- appreciated the accessibility of the pool level. The host was extra helpful and thoughtful. We cooked very little this trip, but the facilities would have made it easy and fun. May thanks!

Paradise in Vieques

This house had everything you need to have a wonderful week in Vieques. There were six of us on this trip, the house has four bedrooms. Two are upstairs. That are ensuite. And two are downstairs. One of the bedrooms down there needs to use the bathroom upstairs One of the bedrooms down there needs to use the bathroom upstairs. The condition of the house is excellent. Very welcoming.very welcoming. Amazing views from upstairs and pool area. A very quiet area which is really nice. Lori was very responsive, before I arrived and while we were there..beds were comfortable. Kitchen was excellent. I cannot recommend you high enough. do not hesitate. Book this house and you will have a wonderful week!

Amazing!!!

My husband and I have been to Vieques many times, and this is by far the best rental we've found. Wonderful location in a very nice neighborhood, beautiful landscaped yard, fantastic pool, and an amazing view of the ocean and surrounding area. All of the amenities at the house are great, and the wifi was actually really good (unlike some places on the island) so we could stay in touch with work. And I loved how they had screens on all the windows and doors to keep out bugs--lots of places in Vieques don't do this and I'm very sensitive to bug bites so this was very much appreciated. Aurelio went out of his way to accommodate us when we arrived before check-in time and was great about answering our questions. My only suggestions are that they might want to get some more comfortable beach chairs for guest use and some of the more remote corners of the house might need a little extra cleaning, but these are very minor quibbles for a really wonderful and unique property. We can't wait to come back!

Great Family Vacation on VQS

Casa Manana was perfect for our family of five. The house is a short (5-8 minute) drive from Esperanza and Sun Bay Beach in the Pilon neighborhood. The grounds and pool area are lush and well-manicured with tropical plants and trees. The house offers generous entertaining space on both the ground / pool deck level and on the second floor wrap around balcony. There is one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom located on the ground level and two additional bedrooms and three bathrooms on the second level. The house is well furnished and comfortable. There are plenty of amenities such as WIFI and satellite TV, a dishwasher, washer and dryer, etc. We enjoyed the spectacular views from the balcony and simply relaxing around the pool and grill area (visited by the occasional iguana). The house is open air and remained cool without the need for air conditioning. We appreciated all the small touches: new beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, snorkeling gear, etc., which we used when we explored the island. We recommend Maritiza’s for Jeep rentals (they have a shuttle for pickup/dropoff at the airport or ferry). We also recommend Jak’s Watersports for the Biobay tour (which was incredible). Our favorite beach was Navio (4x4 access) followed by Playa La Chiva. Surprisingly, our best meal was from a foot cart at the intersection of 996 and 997 (by the Esperaza sign) -- super authentic home cooking. We used Cape Air to get to VQS and took the ferry back to Ceiba (highly recommend Luquillo Taxi to get to San Juan from Ceiba). Both options work well (with the flight providing a memorable experience for the kids). We very much enjoyed our visit to Vieques and look forward to returning. We highly recommend Casa Manana!

We traveled as 2 families of 4. The layout was perfect for our group. We loved the location. The sprawling yard for our kids to run - they especially loved the star fruit tree. The house is so spacious and offers perfect indoor / outdoor living. Our hosts were responsive, helpful, kind and we can tell really care for their home. We hope to be back!

Everything was excellent but…

The property is a paradise with great views, beautiful gardens and a big pool. The house is nice decorated, well distributed and each bedroom has its own big bathroom! The kitchen is huge and the house has a spacious balcony to enjoy the view with your coffee in the mornings! My complaints are that there was some cockroaches in the first floor and there was a centipede in the first floor bedroom where my father (76) was sleeping. The kitchen has a dishwasher and that was nice because doung dishes wasn’t part of my vacations, but there’s no soap for the machine. One day we planned to have a BBQ and when everything was ready the BBQ wasn’t operating, so we solved it on the kitchen’s stove… it was not the same. Other day there was a problem of water service in the whole island, but the property has a big water tank for that situations, but it also wasn’t operating as well. The sink in our bathroom got stuck, but my husband fixed. Then the shower got stuck and the sink got stuck again. Thank God the water flowed later. I wrote to the contact in Vieques, Aurelio, the house’s manager, trying to have the expected support, but it was no that easy reaching him because he doesn’t answer the phone. Then I choose to text him and time later he answered or sometimes doesn’t answer at all, only the next day. I never wrote him late, nor constantly, despite the emergency of the centipede and the water. He never came to solve that, but the next day he gave me an explanation and an apology by texting. Also, there wasn’t any instructions for the check out. We tried to call him and text him because I didn’t know where to return a beeper and the house’s key. I have everything documented in my text messages if the owners want to confirm this review. Is important to let you know that our vacations in Vieques were fantastic, despite that situations. I loved that house. It is located in one of the best islan’s locations. If everything that I wrote here get solved, for sure I rent this property again. *** Aurelio’s father and his wife welcomed us in the house and they were very nice, charming and friendly. Berta, the home has not been rented for several years since your stay. In reading old reviews I want to respond in case you ever see this. The home has had major renovations since your stay. I oversee everything now including the bugs, but of course we can't promise there will never be a bug. It is the jungle, and we try to use organic practices. But so many things are updated and I live on island now. Hopefully you and your family will come and stay again. Laurie

Great stay in a beautiful location!

This was a great home for our family vacation. Perfectly located for easy access to great beaches and all points around Vieques. Owners were super responsive throughout the whole process. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. My husband loved spending every morning sitting on the upstairs deck looking out at the breathtaking view. As a side note: While the listing was accurate about the amazing breezes that kept the home cool, I will say I experienced more mosquitoes than I would’ve liked to. I don’t blame the property at all, as I know I just attract mosquitoes - so I’m sharing so that if you are planning on staying here and if you’re like me and are a mosquito magnet, be well prepared with insect repellent.

Wonderful

The property is beautiful. Owner and property caretaker were incredibly helpful with advice and recommendations. Ideal for our dog, who was able to run around the fenced-in property. Loved it.

Perfect Vieques retreat!

Our stay was just lovely! The booking experience was great - the host was super responsive and very flexible, plus kept us up to date on Covid restrictions. Checking in was a breeze - the property manager met us at the house and showed us around. The home was well appointed with a well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and a cabinet full of pool and beach accessories. We enjoyed many lazy meals on the balcony and plenty of swim time, too. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

I think what makes Casa Mañana unique is that it is a family home. It's not managed by a rental company, and you won't feel that sterile, cookie-cutter minimalist vibe. This is a big home, meant for dinner parties, music, lazy pool afternoons and game nights.
