The breathtaking panoramic view of Zihuatanejo Bay is only the start for Casa Ziesta. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit is in the fabulous development of Ensueno 10 with lush gardens and shows the quality craftmanship throughout.

Nestled in the hillside above Playa La Ropa, Ensueño 10 is a quiet 6 unit complex offering all the amenities that you will require for your relaxing vacation experience. A short 5 minute downhill walk to this beautiful beach, you will find numerous activities and restaurants. The energy of downtown Zihuatanejo is a 20 minute walk or a short cab ride.

With your own private dip pool, you can choose to stay in the comforts of your unit and enjoy the gardens and relaxing view of Zihuatanejo Bay. Alternatively, you can go down to the main infinity pool which at times will feel like a private pool. Common area palapa provides a bar area and barbecue.

Casa Ziesta was designed with privacy in mind. Units in the complex are staggered so you only share one wall with your neighbor. No worries about hearing the footsteps above you. Bedrooms are located on either side of the living area. Relax on your private deck as the soothing sounds of gentle waves resonate from the beachfront.

Granite fully-stocked gourmet kitchen with central water filtration system, ceiling fans, 6-burner stove/oven, microwave, wine fridge, dishwasher, disposal and boasts large entertaining island and views of the ocean. Fully air conditioned bedrooms, a series of sliding doors in all rooms provide spectacular ocean views and excellent cross ventilation for those wanting to take in the sea breezes.

WiFi, laptop, Internet TV in the living room with a 55' LED TV, phone and a Sonos music system. We have an in suite washer and dryer and clothes steamer.

Casa Ziesta is conveniently located above Playa La Ropa, a picturesque mile long sandy beach. Spend your days relaxing on the beach, and enjoying the many water sports and activities ranging from sailing, boogie boards, water skiing, parasailing, jet skis, and beach volleyball. A short walk from Casa Ziesta, you will find a wide selection of great seafood and international restaurants of all price ranges. The waves on La Ropa are generally mild and allow for great swimming.

Downtown Zihuatanejo is an authentic Mexican fishing village with a relaxed atmosphere. Here you will find a wide range of restaurants from gourmet to family run fondas. Take a stroll downtown on the main beach to see the fishermen with their daily catch. If you prefer to eat in you can stock your kitchen at the vibrant Mercado or at the one of the two modern super markets. You will often find family events at the main square (basketball court), ranging from musicians, dancers and artisans.

Amazing stay!

Pictures do not do this place justice; it is absolutely gorgeous! The condo is very well equipped with everything you would need. We loved all the greenery, plants and neat decor touches throughout. Two bedrooms with king sized beds and en suite washrooms made for a very comfortable stay for 4 adults. The place was very clean and did come with maid service. Communication with Allen was excellent and he gave us a lot of good recommendations for places to check out. The condo is up a really steep hill but taxis were usually easy to find. The common area was also lovely with an infinity pool and BBQ. Rarely saw other guests there felt like we had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend staying here it was the highlight of our trip.

Very comfortable with amazing view

The owners were fantastic - very quick replies to any questions and extremely well organized with detailed information available and the condo well set up. There is a steep hill down to the main road and the slight slope to either Playa Ropa or to town. But it is easy to get taxis if you want and we got used to the walk for great exercise! Can’t thank Allen and Collette enough - they were a pleasure to deal with, and Jade was wonderful helping us arrange details in town.

Awesome Condo and location

Renting this condo was easy and straight forward. The owner’s have thought of everything in the unit and send very comprehensive check in instructions and an area guide to help plan your visit. The welcome margaritas is a nice touch and demonstrates that they want to ensure that you have a great holiday in their condo. Property manager was also very attentive and available to help should we have any questions or needs. We used the onsite manual to help us pick one of the restaurants they have reviewed and recommended. The on-site security guard was friendly and willing to call for a cab if we did not feel like walking. Looking forward to returning. Zihuatanejo is beautiful and the people are very friendly.

Spectacular property in Zihua

Casa Ziesta is an exceptional property. It is beautifully decorated, very clean and well maintained, with a well appointed large kitchen which allows for preparation of gourmet meals. The dining table sits outside on the patio area where amazing sunsets and a surreal view of La Ropa Beach await you. The beds can be a bit hard if you are used to softer landing spots. The walk to Ropa Beach is 10 minutes and is a fairly easy downhill walk however, your walk up is quite steep and people with mobility issues should consider a cab ride (which is very cheap) up from the beach. Traversing the hill we found works well too. The two bedrooms have AC but the main living area is open to the elements and does not have AC. It was at times very hot and uncomfortable in the main area given the 30+ temperatures we experienced. The property pool and bbq area are lovely and a nice respite from the heat of the day. Allen and Colette, the property owners, are best in class and truly care about providing a great experience for their guests. Casa Ziesta is a lovely property.

Amazing Condo & View

Easy cab ride from the airport and the condo was not hard to find. the staff was there to greet us upon arrival and both Linda and Armondo assisted in getting us settled as well as providing a quick tour around the complex/pool and gym area. the condo itself is perfect for four adults with two spacious bedroom each with private washrooms which is a nice touch as we were sharing with another couple. The kitchen is big and like all rooms offers a great view of the bay and La Ropa. The kitchen is well provisioned with everything you need and the wine fridge is a great touch. The deck off the front of the condo offers up great views of the water and is well appointed with comfy loungers and a dip pool if you don't want to walk the short distance to the main pool. Overall a great 10 days in a beautiful and very well maintained complex and unit. Would highly recommend. Mark C

Luxurious Place in Paradise

This place is amazing! My husband, daughter and her boyfriend had such a great time at both this condo this town. Everything pictured about this place is accurate. The staff is very kind, efficient, and supportive during our whole visit. The owners, Allen and Colette, are also wonderful and very attentive during the whole renting process. We will be back to this place many more times.

In a word - SPECTACULAR!

This was our first trip to Zihuatanejo and we wanted to be near Playa La Ropa, so we booked this beautiful Casa. We were looking to relax and unwind, and our goal was achieved! This Casa is well stocked, beautifully maintained & the attention to detail is evident throughout, they have honestly thought of everything - I can't think of a thing we needed that wasn't already provided! The bed is super comfortable and we slept well, hearing only the occasional bird or gecko. The staff were fantastic - friendly & helpful but never intrusive. Each unit is completely private from the others and the main pool is perfect for whiling away the afternoon. Taxis are plentiful and you can go anywhere for about $3.00. Or, order pizza to be delivered and watch another sunset from the patio! Not a bad way to spend another beautiful day...

DETAILS COUNT!!

This is the third time that my husband and I have stayed in Zihuatanejo and Casa Ziesta is the perfect location. A short walk to the beach, a short ride (bus or taxi) to the markets. Restaurants within walking distance... Everything about this condo is so well thought out. The condo itself is beautifully decorated. Pictures alone do not due it justice. The kitchen has high quality appliances and everything you need to prepare a meal. The pool area is both beautiful and relaxing. The balcony has a small dipping pool that is private, with a breathtaking view that can also be seen from every room in the condo. The view of the ocean fringed by the roof top garden is beyond spectacular. We will miss seeing this on daily basis. Loved staying here, it had everything we needed and more. I would definitely rate this place more than 5 stars if I could.

Paradise

We were so fortunate to spend 2 weeks at Allen and Colette's beautiful Condo. It was perfect for 2 couples . Lots of room and plenty of privacy. The view was incredible and the sunsets beautiful. ( We also enjoyed the early morning sunrises. ) It was so peaceful and quiet at the Condo and really gave us that relaxing and stress free vacation we were looking for. Evelyne had cold towels and icy Margaritas waiting for us when we arrived from the airport and it was sure welcomed ! Ana did everything to make sure the Condo was cleaned and looked after and Armando kept the incredible infinity pool ( one floor down ) and the mini dip pool right outside the Master bedroom clean and in perfect condition to enjoy. We always felt safe and secure as Augustine the security guard was there throughout the night. Sephius the resident house cat also kept an eye on things and even joined me one morning to share the sunrise. Everything in the Condo was wonderful and it even had a wine fridge ready just in case. ( replace before you leave ) The cupboards were well stocked and we just shopped nearby for what very we would want to cook. In reality though it was so cheap to go out that we often ate just down the hill ( 7 minutes ) at Elvira's .Super service and great people. We took a panga one day over to Playa Las Gators and had a great day snorkelling and enjoying the sun. Food was so good wherever we went and truly enjoyed the Shrimp ! Try Bandidos in the town centre. We actually walked to Playa Las Gatos one day along the beach. Trail a bit rough in places but was alright and took only 20 minutes. Kept us in shape for the class my up the hill to the Condo ( 10 miles notes from beach ) The view always made it worth it. Taxis were always available should you decide to cab it for 45 pesos which is less than 3 bucks. We have already befriended Francisco and will look him up on our next trip. We really loved Zihuatanejo and have already made plans to return for 3 weeks next year. Colette and Allen made everything so easy and had so much information in a visitors book in the Condo. Though we had planned to check out the sights and see Ixtapa (4 miles away ) we didn't venture out at all ! I think we enjoyed Zihua so much it was just nice to stay " home "! We had a perfect vacation and would highly recommend Casa Ziesta to all !

The nicest place we have ever stayed.

This was our third visit to Casa Ziesta. This year we took our son and his wife and we had a great time as usual.The apartment is set up for maximum privacy with the 2 bedrooms being on opposite sides and the living room being in the middle.The weather was perfect with 14 days of sunshine.The new rooftop garden makes sitting on the balcony,looking at the view, even more pleasurable . The staff kept everything clean and neat and were very helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible. We will definitely be back for a fourth stay.

Everything you need

We stayed for 1 week at Casa Ziesta. It measured up to more than I anticipated. The setting and casa are beautiful, everything you could think of is there, everything works and it's so comfortable. We have done a lot of travelling through the Caribbean but limited travel on the West Coast. We love Zihuatanejo and Playa La Ropa the people are lovely and while in town you may be approached to buy something they are polite and not pushy is you say no thank you. The setting exudes serenity and it's a little piece of heaven. I was very impressed with the Malin & Goetz hair and body products, they smelled and worked great and is just one of many ways the homeowners make the stay more special, very nice detail by the homeowners. I loved the dip pool, for those times when you just wanted to lay down and read it was a quick way to cool off. The staff work hard at keeping the property in great condition and they were very helpful. I enjoyed going into town for dinner and felt safe at all times. We took the public bus system into town, they picked us up right at the base of the hill which made it really convenient. I enjoyed a massage on the beach which cost $20 for an hour. I wish I had found this out earlier into my vacation. We will definitely be back and stay at Casa Ziesta.

Beautiful place in the world

My wife and I and another couple just returned from ten days at Casa Ziesta. It was as beautiful and well kept as the photos and reviews state. Although we certainly loved the city of Zihuatanejo and Playa La Ropa the apartment was so quiet and peaceful that we spent several days just lounging there, never wanting to leave. It is incredibly quiet and peaceful. The only sounds you wake up to are the surf, roasters and a donkey down the hill. It is well furnished and everything worked. The staff was very friendly and helpful and there when we needed them. The owners created a guide for things to do and where to eat that was very helpful. Zihuantanejo has grown a lot since we first visited 25+ years ago! but it is still peaceful and easy to get around. Taxis are plentiful and inexpensive. The walk to and from the beach is short but the hill is very steep. But again, taxis were easy to get and cheap. We highly recommend Casa Ziesta. My only hesitancy is that I don't want to have to share this gem with anyone else. We are already making plans for our next stay.

Unbelievable Casa

This was our first time in the Zihuatanego and staying in this casa was definitely unforgettable. It has all the comforts of home but with a stunning view and Mexican hospitality. The staff were very gracious and accommodating whenever we asked for anything. The town has a very distinct Mexican flavour and charm. We would highly recommend this casa.

Beautiful and relaxing

This was our first time to Mexico and Zihuatanego is a beautiful place to visit. Our friends had invited us to share this lovely two bedroom unit and we are happy they did. The view is spectacular,and the accommodation perfect for four. The short walk downhill to the beach was ok but we did use alot of taxi's to get around. We were met by the staff with cool drinks and cool cloths to refresh ourselves with. They had put some food in the fridge for us as we had requested which was very helpful. It may be difficult for people who can not do stairs as the vernacular was not working while we were there but the staff was very helpful to carry anything for us. We will certainly consider a repeat stay as the owners have done a very nice job to make it a great place to stay.

Back for 4 weeks this time. The only thing better than renting and staying in the Casa would be owning it and living in it all the time. Zihuat. is a beautiful small town with fabulous restaurants beaches and views . The Casa Ziesta is like something out of "Architectural Digest"beautifully designed. Plus the owners have great taste. The staff are friendly and efficient.We enjoyed our month stay and have booked next years holiday.

Casa Ziesta most relaxing holiday

Our holiday at Casa Ziesta was everything we expected and more. Great area to explore in Zihuat! Great thing is that you can do as much, or as little as you like. The first few days were spent doing activities in the area, jet skiing, mopeding, and surfing. The balance of the time was spent relaxing on the local beaches. Great area for shopping, eating out and exploring. The condo is beautiful and the owners have gone to a lot of trouble to keep their guidebook current. It was a great resource. The staff at the resort and surrounding area were informative and trustworthy.

Allen and Colette reside a stones throw away from Beautiful Vancouver British Columbia in the suburb of Port Moody. Allen is a Network Consultant and Colette is a Financial Planner. We're both passionate travelers which brought us to Zihuatanejo.

Why they chose this property

Our travelling in 2010 brought us to Zihuatanejo and it didn't take us long to fall in love with the area. We realized that Zihuatanejo was a very special place in the world and soon after, our second trip was booked. It was on that second trip that we decided Zihuatanejo was a place where we needed to spend more time. It was on this trip that we met Tara and Andres who were developing the Ensueño 10 project. The concept was refreshing in that it was designed with green initiatives and sustainability in mind. We decided soon after that Ensueño 10 was for us and haven't looked back since making the decision to buy. We hope to share the beauty of our unit, complex and Zihuatanejo with other travelers who we believe will love it as much as we do.
