VĂ„r Nordpolen Cabin Retreat Ă€r en fantastisk plats att komma för en dag, en vecka eller en mĂ„nad eller mer. En person kan uppleva livet i Alaska i komfort. VĂ„r timmerstuga byggdes 2002 och har haft mĂ„nga gĂ€ster genom Ă„ren. Vi tillhandahĂ„lla bostĂ€der Ă„ret runt, och vinter eller sommar stugan Ă€r varm, torr och sĂ€ker. Rinnande vatten Ă€r ett mĂ„ste, liksom rena bekvĂ€ma sĂ€ngar. Stugan har tvĂ„ queen sĂ€ngar, pentry, full privat badrum, BBQ och picknickomrĂ„de utanför. Parkeringen ligger i nĂ€rheten. Vi Ă€r bara 2 miles frĂ„n livsmedelsbutiker, tandlĂ€kare, lĂ€karundersökning, bensinstationer, presentbutiker, matstĂ€llen inom omrĂ„det, kyrkor och barer. Även om du har nĂ€ra till bekvĂ€mligheter i vardagen, kommer det att verka som om du Ă€r lĂ„ngt ute i skogen. Vi finns i en privat, trĂ€dbevuxen fastighet med en vattenvĂ€g som flyter förbi. PĂ„ sommaren finns det mĂ„nga hĂ€ckande Ă€nder. Det finns mĂ„nga vilda blommor vĂ€xer runt, liksom hĂ€ngande korgar av blommor vi planterar för din njutning.

Great little cabin to base exploring the area from. Area has a bunch of great restaurants and places to visit, Nancy was super helpful providing some suggestions on what to do and was even nice enough to provide update on aurora viewing during the week. Hopefully will be able to return in the future!

We enjoyed our time here so much. The peace and quiet was so relaxing, and only minutes away from restaurants and shopping. Nancy was informative and friendly, and has a lot of great tips on things to do in the area. House was very clean, everything provided, and check in and out was so easy. Would stay again. PS loved the ducks in the stream out back.

A Nice Home Base

I booked this cabin for my 13th wedding anniversary. From the get go, Nancy was very informative and accommodating. A very long story short, we ended up staying for two weeks instead of the original plan of one week. We used the cabin as a 'home base' while we travelled around southern Alaska. We appreciate Nancy so much in her efforts to make our stay comfortable.

Alaskan Sky Geezers

Our group are all Californians. Our sole mission was to see the Aurora Borealis, none of us had ever seen them.Nancy our host was absolutely phenomenal! She gave us so many suggestions of what to do in the area and she immediately became our new friend. The best host I’ve ever had!!The cabin is charming and extremely clean. The loft was a fun bedroom to stay in for an additional couple. They felt like kids climbing up and down the ladder!The location was perfect, less than 5 minutes to town, tucked away in the woods. Nancy the host has stocked the cabin with everything to cook with. Coffee Pot, coffee and accoutrements were provided.We were not disappointed and yes
 we got to see the Aurora Borealis! It was awesome!!

Awesome and Cozy!

The cabin was exceptionally clean, neat, and cozy, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring the beautiful surroundings. It was well-equipped with all the essentials, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay.Nancy was an amazing host—she was welcoming, friendly, and provided great recommendations on where to go and what to see. We got to see Northern lights just at 10 mins distance from the cabin.If you're looking for a peaceful and charming retreat in North Pole, this is definitely the place to stay. Highly recommend!

Stayed here with my dad and brother for a quick weekend winter getaway and we had a great time! Cabin was clean and comfortable with modern amenities. It’s also located in a quiet area with a great view tucked in beside a river. Nancy was a great host who answered all our questions and provided us with recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Next time we’re in Fairbanks, we know where we’ll want to stay!

I was born in the Alaskan Territory and raised in this area, the daughter of early Alaskan Pioneers. My father is the first civilian to drive the Alaska Highway and he entered Fairbanks in November 1943 after a long trip up the Alcan as it was being built. He met my mother, who was here, working as a flight instructor. The two of them flew, together and separately here in Alaska. Flying became a lifetime venture, with my father, retiring in 1980 after an accident-free career in public air transportation in Alaska airspace. I, myself became a licensed pilot, but opted for a life on the ground, raising my sons and now a grandson. I enjoy earth bound things and am deeply rooted here in the 'frozen north'. As a child, I rode around with my father in a 1925 Model T Ford truck. Even now, it still runs, and I drive it for the enjoyment of the general public. Pictured here is me, and the old truck.

I fell in love with this place because it is such a 'retreat' and so 'Alaskan'. I love the log home look and feel, and I enjoy the wooded, private environment here. The water nearby is peaceful and such a great place for the ducks to nest and raise their young. It is a peaceful place to wake up each morning and to go to bed each night. You can hear the birds singing and the chatter of squirrels, and the sounds of nature are not drowned out by the sounds of the nearby highway.

Available year round with comfort, warmth, privacy, and convenience. Our North Pole Cabin is located in a peaceful setting, great for tourists, and also great for folks working or visiting in the area. We are 9 minutes from the Eielson Air Force Base and 20 minutes from the Ft Wainwright Army Base. We are 7 minutes from the Oil Refinery, and 20 minutes from downtown Fairbanks. If you are WORKING, TOURING, or VISITING FAMILY our North Pole Cabin is a great choice for many reasons, including having a memorable 'cabin experience' in ALASKA!!
