Great cabin in a quiet area! Just what we needed for the 3 of us and our quick stay on Fairbanks area. Highly recommend the crepe place in North Pole for breakfast!

North Pole Winter Vacation

Fun little getaway for 3 longtime friends. Cabin was within 30 minute drive of most areas we visited. Cabin was well stocked, clean, & beds quite comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable & Enjoyable

We stayed for 5 nights. Comfortable cottage with beautiful view and a quiet location. Lots of things to do within a reasonable drive (anywhere we drove had gorgeous views). Well stocked with all the little touches that made our stay very comfortable.

Absolutely Perfect GetawayThis place was everything we hoped for and more. It’s close to everything you might need, yet once you're there, you feel completely tucked away from the world — peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature.The pond is full of trout, and not just any trout — big ones! Whether you're fishing or just relaxing by the water, it’s a highlight of the stay.The house itself was spotless, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was clean and cozy, making it easy to settle in and feel right at home.I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat that still keeps you within reach of town

The house is clean, full of supplies (cooking pots, plates, bowls, cups, plenty of coffee pods, cream pods, toilet papers... for our 12 nights stay). Beds are comfortable. Dark enough to see aurora at night outside the house (if condition is met).The only drawback is not that easy to get question answered. I always stay at hotel, not used to not knowing how to enter the house till very close to my trip. My midnight flight arrival made me even more nurvious, but I couldn't get confirmation to ensure I would get the code prior to my arrival. If you are as me, you don't need to worry, the code was sent out automatically 3 days prior your arrival :)

May Vacation

What a wonderful house to stay in! The house was very clean, and decorated super cute and had all the amenities we were looking for. Loved having the washer and dryer and the location was perfect in a quiet part of the North Pole community with a great view. Would definitely book again if in the area. We had a delay and couldn't check in as scheduled, and I messaged the host and she replied almost immediately. I also messaged her regarding what to do when we were getting ready to leave and what we should do for cleaning and again her response was within a few minutes, so communication is great with the hosts. Highly recommend staying here if in the area.

Nice location

Enjoyed the location. Great place to see the northern lights. The home had all we needed. It was only 2 of us. It was just minutes to the store and all the places of North Pole and a short drive to Anchorage. The only thing I feel needs to be done is the brush trimmed down in the area of the back deck to see the lake from there. But just that area the rest was great privacy. But even with that I would recommend anyone to stay there we enjoyed it.

Lakefront Cottage

We had 80 degree days while we were there. My granddaughters boyfriend caught lots of Rainbow trout. They even went out on the paddle boat. We sat on the deck until 3am. amazed at the daylight. We all caught a fish before we left and the neighbors didn't catch any. Lol! If you are there in the summer don't forget the bug spray.

Weeds and lake view

They need to knock the weeds down from house to lake front. Couldn’t see grandson on paddle boat from back deck…. Picture in ad shows clear view to lake front, not the case!!

Excellent Location, Clean and Comfortable House, Great Communication with Owner!

The location is an excellent staging point for trips in the Fairbanks North and Eastward areas. The cabin is very warm, well-maintained, and has excellent quality freshwater and amenities that are very well kept. Heating in winter is excellent, and the house even provides a perfect outlet to use a block heater on your vehicle conveniently parked out front. We were able to see the northern lights from the cabin windows on two nights of our stay. The location provides very easy access to Chena Lakes recreation area and to Highway 2, with easy driving to Fairbanks and Delta Junction. The neighborhood is quiet, and the lake is a very beautiful setting particularly in winter. The hosts did a wonderful job keeping us informed about northern lights activity, and we're great to work with. We will definitely return to this property in the future!

Truly lovely property! My husband and grandson enjoyed the paddle boat (life jackets were available for us to borrow ). The fire pit and large grill were a plus. And inside the cabin was very comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. The three bedrooms and two baths were just perfect. Close to town but it still felt private. Highly recommend.

Looking to rebook as soon as possible! The cabin had everything! It has a beautiful view of a small lake (we caught and released, Rainbow trout and Alaskan Greyson) Looking out the windows we could see the Alaskan range. Quite location and tranquil setting! Host was quick to respond! I felt at home even though I was 3,500 miles away! I highly recommend this place!
