Streamside is perfectly located between Traverse City and the natural beauty of Leelanau County. However you spend your days up north, you'll love coming home to unwind in the hot tub and cedar sauna. Peacefully tucked in the woods beside a stream, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind, we offer year-round charm for couples, families, or small groups seeking rest, connection, and nature. Streamside is a modern, newly-renovated, light-filled home designed for comfort and calm. The living room and eating area feature large windows that look out onto the surrounding forest, letting nature in while maintaining a sense of privacy and coziness. Whether you’re gathered around the outdoor fire pit or sipping coffee on the deck, the atmosphere is peaceful, warm, and inviting.

Bedrooms & Layout

The home comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms. The primary bedroom downstairs features a king bed. One bedroom upstairs features another king bed with a work area. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a comfortable reading nook.
All bedrooms feature high-quality linens with spare sets, a full closet, thoughtful lighting and a ceiling fan.
There is a full bath on each floor with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Kitchen & Dining

The fully equipped kitchen includes brand new appliances, essential cooking tools, pans, baking sheets, etc. as well as basic spices and cooking oils. The dining area comfortably seats six, and you can also enjoy food and a drink out on the deck. There is also a propane grill outside next to the game area.

Streamside’s signature feature is its private outdoor spa setup. Unwind in the cedar sauna and hot tub, both positioned to overlook the stream and forest, creating a relaxing experience in every season. We are also happy to provide a gorgeous fire pit with complimentary firewood, as well as an outdoor game area with cornhole, horseshoes, and axe throwing!

Technology & Work Setup

Fast, reliable Wi-Fi makes remote work or streaming a breeze. The living area includes a smart TV, and USB outlets are located in each bedroom for easy device charging. The upstairs king bedroom has a dedicated desk, but otherwise the dining table and lounge areas work well for laptop use.

This home is set in a beautiful, peaceful location and was the perfect cozy winter getaway. The amenities were thoughtfully provided—from the coffee bar to the sauna and hot tub, everything made our stay feel extra relaxing and comfortable. This stay was amazing. We loved everything about the house. It was the perfect location for my family to explore the Leelenau peninsula. The kitchen was well stocked and the home had so many small details that were really well thought out. We loved sitting on the patio in the evening and my kids really loved the games and the axe/star throwing. It was such a hit. We also explored the creek in search of frogs and crawfish. Ben and Aviva communicated perfectly and had everything covered! We can't wait to come stay here again.

We had an absolutely incredible stay here, and it will forever hold a special place in our hearts. I was able to propose to my fiancée at this beautiful, peaceful location, and it truly could not have been more perfect.The home easily accommodated all of our friends with two king beds and one queen, making it comfortable for everyone. It’s just a quick 10–15 minute drive outside of downtown Traverse City, and also close to other charming towns like Suttons Bay and Leelanau, which made exploring the area easy and fun.The property was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained. Ben and Aviva were amazing hosts, so accommodating and even willing to go above and beyond to help set up the perfect proposal. Their kindness made the experience even more memorable.I honestly couldn’t rate this place higher. We’re already planning to come back next year to celebrate our one-year anniversary. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway near Traverse City!

So we bought this home and put in months of work to design and renovate it, turning it into not only a place you'll love, but one we do as well. This isn't just a rental to us, it's something we're proud to own and use frequently. We can't wait to host you!

Why they chose this property

We LOVE this part of Traverse City for so many reasons. The road we're located on, Cedar Valley Rd, runs through the Cedar Valley, a gorgeous valley between forested hills with a stream meandering through it. We are lucky enough to have this stream on our property, right in the backyard. Come experience the magic for yourselves!

What makes this property unique

Our thoughtful designs and renovations opened up this house, modernized it, and filled it with light. We have managed to bring a fraction of the beauty of the forest and stream into the home, and kept it incredibly comfortable in the process. Not to mention our top of the line amenities: Hot Tub, Sauna, Fire Pit, outdoor game area, grill, covered deck, coffee bar, and the fastest Wi-fi you'll find up north.
