この美しい1940年代の丸太小屋で、TCのNorth Coast Vibesにインスパイアされた、まるですべての冒険にぴったりのロケーション！ 午前中は、地元のカフェからCoffee＆Burritosをつかみ、日中のDay of Funに出かけましょう。 ビーチへは徒歩または自転車でダウンタウンへ行き、両方のステップを離れてTart Trailでショッピングします。 ハイキング、カヤック、砂丘、そしてワイナリーへのミニッツ！ 午後は、果てしない素晴らしいフード＆クラフトビールへのショートドライブ。 最後に、安らかな夜の睡眠のために戻る前に湾の夕日をキャッチ。

Everything was exceptionally clean and the space was so warm and cozy. We wanted a secluded cabin in the woods which we got but also had the benefit of being close to downtown!

Great place

We loved this cabin! It was very clean and comfortable and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed and we also enjoyed using the charcoal grill. The beds were very comfortable and so was the living room. Our boys loved playing in the creek.

Great cabin

We loved the cabin and the setting. It was clean and all the finishes and details were perfect. The busy road in front of the cabin didn’t even bother us as the location was perfect. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a great week.

Great Little Cabin

While this cabin may be located in a spot that could be considered a busy part of town, it is tucked away behind a privacy fence, trees, and behind a creek, so you feel like you have privacy. Great central location as well to get to all area attractions - downtown, Old Mission Peninsula, the beach, etc.

Great place and great location!

Lauren was great to work with and the cabin was great - exactly as described. we enjoyed the easy to use gas fire place and the hot tub. $8 uber ride to downtown TC to have dinner and drinks.

Traverse City Getaway

Very nice little cabin for a stay in Traverse City! Place was very clean and well kept. The hot tub was a very nice feature, and the creek running right of the cabin was very scenic as well! Everything inside the cabin was well stocked and we had no issues whatsoever.

Perfect little cottage

My family had a wonderful stay. The kids loved the creek and hammock and played by it for hours. Everything looked just like the listing. There was an issue with the hot tub and the owners were very communicative. We would stay here again!

Great location!

We had a wonderful experience and stay and Lauren’s cottage! The cottage was very clean, well maintained and very comfortable! The communication with Lauren before our stay was terrific and the check in process was simple. The cottage location right next to Mitchell Creek yet very near downtown Traverse City was ideal for our stay. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Great experience!

Lovely cabin next to the state park. Updated and well maintained. The hot tub was a wonderful amenity. Close enough to town to be practical and tucked away enough to feel private. 5/5. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Cabin and Property

The owner of this property has gone above and beyond to ensure that this property is well maintained and well-stocked for each visit. You couldn't ask for a better location, offering ease to Downtown Areas, and offering less than an hour drive to Sleeping Bear area. Would happily return.

Hi, we're your hosts Lauren & Tom!

We're a married couple who shares a love for all things hosting, our two pups, and new adventures. After years of visiting our favorite place, we decided to move from Grand Rapids to Traverse City in the pursuit of happiness. Days were filled with working too many hours and spending too much time apart, so we packed up and began our new journey.

As a team, we started from managing one rental home to owning our own and could not be more grateful for the opportunity to share our love of hosting with our guests.

We believe that no matter whats going on in life, its important to take time away, recharge, find new adventures, and create fond memories. Our mission is to provide the best possible stay in hopes that you and your loved ones are able to experience all of this and more.

We had our eyes on this home the day we walked through the cottage next door. It was owned by the same owners that sold us our 3 bedroom cottage and they wanted to show us the entire retreat they had along Mitchell Creek. They were looking for the perfect owners to eventually own all 3 of their cottages, as they were near and dear to their heart.

It was love at first sight, the rustic charm that represented everything we felt about Northern Michigan. We didn't know how yet, but we knew that we needed to find a way to keep all these beautiful cottages together. In the Spring of 2019 we were able to make that happen and it's been a dream come true!

Our favorite thing about this home is that it brings you back in time, to a simpler time. While the cottage is private, it's in the heart of everything, which makes it great for guests. Stepping into the home though, makes you wonder what it must have been like back in the 1940s when there was nothing else around.

Cozy up next the fireplace in the winter or sit creek side in front of a campfire in the summer, it represents the best that Northern Michigan has to offer!
