This place is absolutely beautiful. We loved the house and the pool, the only downside is the bathroom is very small. If it were bigger this place would be a 12/10! We did enjoy it very much other than the bathroom when time to shower.

Surfside Beach retreat is newly remodeled, nicely decorated, super clean. Great place for a family vacation with room to spread out. House has all new appliances is fully stocked with everything you need to entertain friends and family. Pool has a wrap around deck with perfect split of sun and shade.

The house was very clean upon arrival. It had three bedrooms, one in a bunkbed. It suited us OK the problem we had was there was no closets. There’s really no shelving. There wasn’t even a toilet paper rack in the bathroom. The shower was extremely small like one you would be in an RV, but for our short little stay, it did us just fine. We spent a lot of time at the beach and Fishing probably would not stay at this particular house again now knowing what it lacks and just being able to set up for the week. Parking was also very limited one small little road barely a road to the house just made it a little difficult for two vehicle vehicles to even really operate.

Property was located near the beach, able to walk or use our golf cart to go back and forth. Weather was nice during the day, but pool still cold.

Don’t stay overnight on Thursday because pest control and VERY EARLY MORNING lawn care will interrupt your time. Our stay was anything but relaxing. Construction on the house next door was going until sunset the day we arrived—nonstop power tools and banging right next to the pool area. Then the construction crew started again at daybreak the next morning. Besides the loud construction noise…Pest management was there when we arrived at 4 treating the property so there was a delay getting into the driveway. Once they left, the code given for the key box didn’t work. Called property and they resolved the key issue by phone. Next morning at 8:30am we’re sitting on the deck when lawn service arrived at the house—so no more quiet sitting on the deck or enjoying the pool. Instead lawnmowers, weed eaters, and leaf blowers were blasting. The lawn crew was working right next to our parked car—shooting debris on the car in the driveway. Lawn service basically had us blocked inside the house for more than an hour. Rooms are clean, but the curtains beside the door next to the kitchen were stained yellow and they reeked of pet urine. Volume on tv in living room is also broken. No issues with insect activity inside.
