You can't get any closer to the beach than the York Manor. Come stay at our comfortable studio apartment in this charming Victorian home. Booking Saturday to Saturday weekly stays. The *newly renovated* studio/efficiency has its own entrance and overlooks York Beach. A queen-size bed and sofa sleeper complete the sleeping accommodations. Perfect for a small family or up to four guests. The efficiency-sized galley kitchen has everything you need to feel right at home. Enjoy the beautiful ocean view, spend your days in the sun at the beach only steps away, or walk to the quaint down town.

Short Sands Beach was recently named one of the 10 best beaches for a family vacation and you are on its doorstep! Relax on your front porch in one of our traditional wooden rockers as you watch the waves roll in or take in the nightly band concert at the gazebo. Park your car and put the keys away. Everything you could want to do is right outside your front door. No need to walk a long way or drive to the beach, step out the door and feel the sand between your toes.

Historic York Manor is a unique vacation complex, situated directly on Short Sands Beach, with dramatic ocean views of the open ocean. York Manor is one of the last vestiges of a time gone by. This is the perfect place to put your feet up and relax. This is Maine, “The Way Life Should Be”!

Great spot!

This was a clean and lovely little studio with everything you could need. The side building access, rocking chair porch views, and proximity to the beach can't be beat. The location is great for walking to restaurants and shops, the only downside is that the street can a bit be busy and noisy. We had a great time as a family of four and would definitely stay again!

Of all the places we’ve rented in York through the years, this may be our #1 spot. The unit was spiritless upon arrival. It had everything we needed with a beautiful view of the beach right from our front window. Loved our private side access and the ability to sit and relax on the beautiful rocking chairs on the porch. We could sit right there to watch the sunrises. The ocean breezed just flowed into the unit and we never even needed to use the AC. Less than 200 steps across the street and you’re on the beach. Wonderful access to downtown stores and restaurants. We’ve already booked for next year.

Wonderful spot!

We had a wonderful time! It is a beautiful property and there is no better location if you want to visit the beach. Watching the fireworks from the porch was magical and we can't wait to go again!

Hi VRBO! We are a father-daughter duo excited to be sharing beautiful York Beach, Maine! We are both currently living in York and love all four seasons in beautiful New England. In his retirement, Doug is in the business of flipping houses and Laura works in IT for a large insurance company. We both love the family owned and run house called the York Manor on Short Sands Beach. The house has been bringing family and guests together since 1970 and is a place we love and cherish.
