Beautifully Updated Beach Rental Steps from Wells Beach

Come and relax on fabulous Wells beach!!! This is a beautiful 2 bedroom unit on ground floor is directly across the street from beautiful Wells beach and 2 minute walk to the Wells harbor where are there is another great beach. Come with family and/or friends and rent both units and each have your own private space. If you are interested in the upper unit please see our VRBO listing # 4755821.

Wells beach is a flat soft sand beach that is great for families, surfing, swimming & finding crabs on the jetty nearby and fishing in the harbor. Get up early to see the most amazing sunrises from the beach over the Atlantic Ocean. The beach, our home and Wells town is still as beautiful as ever even after a stormy winter.

Everything in the home is new since the it was completely renovated down to the studs in 2014. This ground floor unit features granite counter tops in the kitchen, 2 TVs, new appliances, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, parking for 2 cars, gas grill, and WIFI access and a bed rail for children. This rental has it all and is the perfect rental for family! We were renters on Wells beach for 15 years and understand how much easier it is to have all the conveniences of home while you are away on vacation with your family. The location of this house is at north the end of Atlantic Avenue near the public parking lot so traffic is minimized. Wells beach is a flat soft sand beach that is great for families, surfing, swimming finding crabs on the jetty nearby and fishing in the harbor.

NOTE: Linens, towels and toiletries are NOT provided however, linens and towels may be rented from a local business called Cottage Linens in Biddeford Maine that free offers delivery.

Had a wonderful girls weekend with my mom and sister! The house was perfect for the three of us and we loved the easy walk to the beach and sitting in the Adirondack chairs the in front yard. Craig was a great communicator and gave us some delicious restaurant recommendations while we were there. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Location and Well Maintained

My family and I had a very nice 2 night's stay. The property is well maintained and the location is great with a simple 3-minute walk to get to the beach. The property is well-stocked with thoughtful amenities Parking was really nice and easy to come and go from.

Great little place

Although apartment was small myself and 2 friends had plenty of room. Nice set up in kitchen and plenty of living space. Nice bathroom! Most of all access to the beach so close and beach was just beautiful!

Great location, Modern and Clean Property!

My family and I have been coming to Maine for over 30+ years and have stayed in different cottages along Atlantic Avenue. This year was our first year staying at this cottage and we truly enjoyed it. The location of the property is very convenient. It is located across the street from the beach and has good parking. The owners were very hospitable and welcoming. They have redone the cottage and updated it with all of the essentials needed to have a great stay. The kitchen was stocked with all the things you would need including a dishwasher. The bedrooms and living room had ceiling fans which were nice to have at night. There is a patio and picnic table that you can enjoy in the mornings with your coffee and a grill that could be used during the day or night. Overall our week was great and we hope to be back next summer.

Great Getaway!

We loved being so close to the beach. House was comfortable and clean. We had a slight issue with the toilet when we arrived and Craig responded IMMEDIATELY on a Saturday night. It was a great experience.

Great Off-Season Stay

Cute and cozy unit for a small group of people. We've rented many places in Wells and this was one of the nicest in terms of furniture and appliances. Having a washer and dryer was a big bonus. If you're not familiar with Wells Beach -- this house is directly on Atlantic Avenue (primary beach road), which gets quite noisy during the "high season."

Wonderful Get Away

Property nicely renovated and tastefully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped . Easy walk to beautiful Wells Beach as a walkway is right across the street. Most certainly would rent again.

Wonderful stay

My friends and I rented both units at Craig and Nicole’s place for MDW. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but the location was perfect and still allowed to us to make the most of the trip. The beach was right across the street and the grills were a wonderful bonus. Craig was very easy to communicate with as well. Would absolutely come back for another weekend with better weather!

Perfect place for a family get away

This property is very neat and clean. It is a perfect size for a family of 4. It is easy to clean up after a week of staying there. Having a washer and dryer was fantastic. Owners where quick to respond via text. Check in so easy. We so appreciate our stay. Highly recommend this rental.

Small but had everything we needed.

Bottom floor was perfect for kids and all our things. Close to the beach so we walked every day and came back for lunch. It was very close to the supermarket which was convenient. The house had all the kitchen utensils I needed to cook with and the washer and dryer was amazing we took no dirty laundry home. The couple we rented from were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Terrific Place For Our Family Vacation

Our vacation at this property was wonderful. The property was immaculate and included modern amenities not commonly found in a rental space. Only a few steps to the beach or the harbor ensured a relaxing visit and very convenient. Craig and Nicole are lovely people and couldn't have been more accommodating. Highly recommend staying here!!!

Short Notice Rental

My brother and I have been vacationing in Wells over 40 years and are very familiar with the area. We happened to have a need for week on short notice and were very fortunate to come upon this location. The owners were very responsive and over communicated with us to secure the property for the week. The location was great with easy access to to the beach. The beach chairs and equipment were just what we needed. The unit was extremely comfortable with all modern amenities. A very pleasant area to grill, dine outside and enjoy the evenings. We had a few minor questions during our stay and the owners responded to all questions immediately. Overall we would recommend this unit to anyone looking to enjoy the beach at Wells.

It is truly a home away from home! Great location with great beach access!

The cottage was just as listed with a lot more! The inside was newly renovated and very well furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen ware - everything needed for a good Lobster dinner! Added bonus was the outside seating with a BBQ grill. Location had easy access to beautiful Wells Beach - right across from the cottage. Parking was off road and safe, The owners are super hosts and provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, they are easy to contact if you have any questions prior to or during your stay. We would recommend this vacation rental as a home away from home.

Craig and I and our two children love spending time on beautiful Wells beach playing games, building sand castles, surfing, biking on beach in the early morning, crabbing and taking the an occasional nap of course. Craig and I have been renting on Wells beach for the past 18 years and have experienced the full range of beach rentals so we understand the how important it is to of have all the conveniences of clean home while you are away on vacation. We work hard to ensure you feel at home and we hope you love our home as much as we do!!!

Craig and I bought this home specifically due to its close proximity to Wells harbor for fishing and kayaking, the Wells jetty which is great for searching for crabs with the kids and of course beautiful Wells beach. Our home is located within 1-2 minute walk to all of these! So come enjoy the fun or just relax and enjoy one of the best beaches in Southern Maine!
