Lake Front Log Cabin PrĂšs du mont. Neige

Personnellement, j'ai construit cette magnifique maison de bois artisanal en 1998. Il dispose de plus de 500 pieds de façade sur le magnifique et paisible lac Sadawga, dans la ville de Whitingham, sur un terrain de huit acres au bout d'un chemin de terre privĂ© long d'un demi-mille. Porche couvert de deux cĂŽtĂ©s, grille de gaz, table avec chaises et balançoire pour se dĂ©tendre et profiter de la vue sur le lac. Il y a quatre kayaks pour votre usage. Grande pĂȘche, randonnĂ©e, kayak, et la paix et la tranquillitĂ© que nous mĂ©ritons tous.

À l'intĂ©rieur de la cabine, il y a une cheminĂ©e en pierre de taille dans le salon spacieux et ultra confortable, magnifique planchers de cerisier et d'Ă©rable fabriquĂ©s Ă  la main Ă  partir des arbres de ma propriĂ©tĂ©, cuisine complĂšte et salle de bain, et une chambre avec une reine et deux lits jumeaux des lits. Loft chambre principale avec bain Ă  remous, lit king size et demi-bain.

TV par satellite dans le salon et la chambre en mezzanine.
À l'intĂ©rieur, vous trouverez deux ensembles de portes françaises Ă  trois battants dans le salon qui vous offrent une vue magnifique sur le lac et les montagnes environnantes.

La vie privée abonde à la fin du chemin de terre, la maison est entourée de bois et d'eau.

Pour vos sports d'hiver, nous sommes à moins de 30 minutes de l'excellent ski à Mt Snow, et nous avons un accÚs direct au systÚme de sentiers de motoneige VAST, juste à cÎté de la propriété.

Weekend in Whitingham

Our stay was wonderful at this home. The house was comfortable and very well appointed, especially for people who like to stay in and make meals instead of going out. The kayaks available for use were a great touch, and we enjoyed going out on the lake. The owner was very responsive and even made recommendations on restaurants and area amenities. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing place beautiful scenery

What an incredible property, town and area. If you’re looking to get away for a bit in New England, it’d be hard to beat this place. Absolutely loved it, close to many small towns with great food and shops and views. Will be back again!!

It was wonderful! The location can’t get any better. Very private, quiet, gorgeous lake view. Nice to have a Hot tub in the bedroom. We hope to return.

Better than expected!

Although we cut our stay short (due to weather), the time we spent at the cabin was better than expected. The pictures did not do this place justice! The cabin is beautiful and just what we needed to get away for the weekend. We’ll definitely book again for a longer stay next time—preferably when the weather is warmer! Communication with our host Bob was very easy, comfortable and helpful!

Amazing lake cabin

Our family of three spend two amazing nights in the cabin. The pictures on the website do not do justice to how beautiful the property is. We rented through VRBO many times in the past both in the US and abroad and this place is very high at the top of the list. Communication and check in were a breeze. Location is superb. Perfect Getaway for Two!

We recently stayed at this charming cabin for a weekend getaway to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and it was perfect! The location on Sadawga Lake in Whitingham, Vermont is precisely what we were looking for—peaceful and quiet, with stunning lake views. We spent countless hours relaxing in the screened-in gazebo, enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful scenery without worrying about bugs. The lake is great to explore by kayak, provided by the host, with minimal traffic, a manageable size, and a floating island. If you're looking for a romantic escape or a quiet retreat, this cabin is perfect. We can't wait to come back again!

Peaceful and relaxing

My family and I (5 adults and a 5 year old) enjoyed this cabin very much. Super clean and we loved the kayaks! It is exactly as the pictures show. One thing we were caught off guard by was that the cabin is the owners second home and many of their belongings occupy the closets and dresser space. The fridge and freezer were also full of food...some from past renters, some theirs. Bob resolved this quickly by having the property manager come by to pick it up so we could put our own food in there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Tranquil Cabin Heaven!

I can’t say enough about our host, Bob, and this property. If you’re looking for a peaceful slice of heaven, this immaculate log cabin is the place. This is the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in and the attention to detail was incredible. The kitchen was super stocked and the furniture was comfortable, we immediately felt at home. The Firepit by the water was so relaxing and the fireplace inside was great to end the day. Thanks to Bob for the wood. Bob was extremely responsive and friendly, a really great host. Small towns were nearby and the drives were pretty. Bob also had two really clean grills with all the tools and a great porch swing for two. All we heard were geese and ducks for 5 days. Bob, thank you and your family for sharing your slice of heaven with others! You offer a really special experience that is tough to find.

Anniversary Retreat

From the moment we arrived we felt the magic. So peaceful we didn’t make it past the rocker on the porch and just sat and soaked in the sun and the breeze and the beautiful lake. Bob the builder picked the perfect spot. We then headed out on the kayaks for a delightful spin around the lake back in time to barbecue and eat appetizers and watch the sunset. Cozy by the fire for dinner and then movie night in the loft
.next day sunrise paddle then breakfast on the porch and hiking and exploring the nature preserve and catamounts trails from Harriman to some rest. Some dricing arounf and back fro another enchanted evening. This morning s paddle in among the floating islands rewarded us with cranberries and then over th the preserve where we saw an eagle fishing

Serenity by the lake!

Bob was very welcoming and accommodating. His home is clean, beautiful, with an idyllic location on the lake. We spent the weekend kayaking, grilling, and hanging by the fire pit.
