The completely separate first level provides a secluded private escape. Enter directly from the patio into the great room, decorated with blond wood floors and sea-inspired décor. The fully equipped kitchen includes a coffeemaker and a 2-stool breakfast bar overlooking the dining space for 4. In the elegant living area, relax on the L-shaped sofa and 2 sleek armchairs while streaming entertainment on the Smart TV. When the warm weather beckons, enjoy a drink in the balmy breeze on the covered patio. The outdoor shower makes it easy to rinse off sand and salt. For sleeping accommodations, there is 1 primary bedroom with a queen bed and a Smart TV, as well as a queen sleeper sofa in the living space. A washer and dryer are available on each level.

The house was very clean in all areas. The cleaning staff should be commended. All the necessary kitchen utensils were provided as were an abundance of towels and linens. Both levels of the home were tastefully decorated. Though there really wasn't a view of the gulf, access to the beach was nearby and easy to use.I have some mobility issues so the ground level downstairs unit was a big help. Upstairs was spacious and easily accommodated 3 adults and 2 children. The furniture on both levels was in good repair with plenty of seating for both comfort and dining use.We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay, and would recommend the property to anyone seeking a relaxing holiday.

Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed our time at this property. The home was clean, spacious, and worked well for our group. However, there are a few things future guests should be aware of before booking.First, while the listing states that the home sleeps 13, four of those sleeping spaces are located in a separate downstairs unit. This wasn’t immediately obvious to us from the listing (this was completely my fault). However, larger groups should be aware that not everyone will be staying in the main living area.The downstairs unit also appeared to have moisture issues and had a strong musty/moldy odor during our stay. Unfortunately, one of the grandparents staying downstairs began experiencing breathing difficulties and ultimately had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance. While we can’t say with certainty what caused the medical issue, the air quality and odor in that space were concerning.Also, the photos make the walk to the beach appear to be a flat, easy path. While the beach is certainly accessible, there are steps involved, and the boardwalk leading to the beach is in significant need of repair. Guests with mobility concerns should keep this in mind when considering the property.Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our vacation and appreciated the location and overall accommodations. We simply wanted to share these details so future guests can make an informed decision and know what to expect.
