Lovely pool home with fishing dock in highly diserable family community of Fort Lauderdale.

As you enter you will see the living areas x 2 to cozy up and watch movies or play on its large 55 inch TV with viewing for over 100 channels.

As you walk forward you will be greeted by the dining table and sitting for 6 to your right, then large living room with plenty of seating and Electric fireplace, next to the updated gourmet kitchen with all updated appliances. you'll find all the necessary tools for a family dinner. Kitchen features a coffee maker, flat top range with oven, updated refrigerator with ice maker, filtered water unit on sink, and new whirlpool washer dryer inside kitchen closet.
Past the double doors ,
you may go outside and enjoy the serene backyard with lush palm trees and beautiful pool area. You may lounge or grill your favorite steak. You
You can be a sport and go kayaking in either a double inflatable kayak or fish on the dock.

Coming back into the home you will find 4 bedrooms to the left of the house. Main with king bed , 2 with queen beds and one with a twin bed. There's a large master ensuite bathroom with spa/ jets.
There is an inflatable queen bed for sleeping for up to 9.

This home is full of amenities for everyone- you will definitely get a taste of Florida tropical living in this paradise. Please note there is an attached studio - separate entrance from home and guest there does not use any amenities. There is a very small dog (5 lbs)- He’s friendly and well-behaved. He’s mostly kept indoors and does not interact with guests unless seen briefly around the yard. He’s also surprisingly helpful; he keeps ducks and iguanas away from the pool, deck and garden!”

Dear Good Folks, here on Vrbo. What’s the difference between this beautiful home compared to a four star hotel? At a hotel, you might be pampered with all the amenities that would be expected for such a hotel. However, if you’re looking for that, then this is not the place to book or rent out. This my friends, is someone’s beloved home that people live in, but graciously rent out. It’s a home that has love, devotion to family, faith for Almighty God above, and much more. If you truly look around this stunning home, that’s exactly what you will feel and see inside and out. This home boasts the warmth that a “True” home should always have. You feel that “Lived in, no fuss no muss” that is in the air and visible throughout the home. The homeowner opens her door and allows guests to see through rose color glasses and enjoy all her beloved treasures from her and her family. You feel the love in the air of family and friends and there is nothing better than that and something a four star hotel can’t even come close to. Our stay for a few days were great! What stood out was the beautiful house and the space it provided for our stay. Also the backyard, the pool and dock is amazing. It felt so homey and comfortable! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There were a few issues with the property upon arrival, but they were quickly corrected by the property owner. She was more than helpful and we immensely enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful spacious home with more than enough room for our family. The backyard was very nice, my granddaughters had a ball in the pool and fishing. There were ducks taking daily strolls in the backyard, along with iguanas. Highly recommended for your stay. Thank you Yira.

Home was in a less desirable neighborhood. The inside looked pretty much like the photos Except that the kitchen had No glassware (only plastic tumblers) No wine glasses. Murphy bed frame was broken so we had to put a piece of luggage underneath to prop it up. TV remotes had No batteries & the Master bdrm TV had to be pulled out of wall to shut off. The backyard was so unkempt that we couldn’t relax outside. The dock was flimsy, the cushions moldy. We were there 3 nights & the homeowner didn’t have anything done until our last night! She still hasn’t even contacted me back to refund me a portion of my money! Needless to say EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED!!!

Wow 1 star after we were in touch with her on a daily basis. Helped her turn on tvs because couldn’t figure out remotes. Turn on the fire pit because she couldn’t figure out either. We were in touch with her every day. It’s unfortunate some people view the world this way. We wish her all the best AND good luck !!

Did not meet our expectations

We expected so much more from this rental; and, unfortunately, it did not meet / or exceed our expectation but we still made the best of our vacation. We were supposed to get the door access code the day before arrival but did not receive the access code until hours before our arrival. Upon arrival I informed the property manager of the following concerns that we immediately noticed: 1. The grass was overgrown so we requested that the grass be cut considering the wildlife in the area and we had children. (The grass was not cut during the entire duration of our 5 day stay.) 2. There was no air mattresses. (One was provided the next day.) 3. The ice maker was broken in the freezer. (Housekeeping came and jiggled the ice maker which seemed to resolve the issue.) 4. There was no garbage can in the kitchen. (The garbage can was located outside with ants and dirt on the outside which Housekeeping cleaned and brought back in the next day.) 5. There was no shower liner in the bathroom and there was a big crack in the tub. (Housekeeping believed the crack occurred from the previous week / renters and they provided a shower liner the next day.) 6. All the bulbs went out in the dining room fixture. (This was resolved the next day.) The following are issues that we experienced during our stay that cannot be captured in pictures: 7. The master shower is very deep. If you are shorter than 5'4" then you may need assistance getting in and out of the shower to prevent you from slipping or getting hurt. My sister-in-law got a 6-7 inch cut on her leg getting out of the shower. 8. The Entertainment room has no Central AC, only a portable AC which does not cool the room to the same degree as the rest of the house. 9. Many of the sheets and pillow cases were dirty with white stains. I assume the pillow cases were saliva spots but I can only imagine what the white spots on the sheets were. I had to go to the Master bedroom closet to find clean sheets and pillow cases to replace the sheets and pillow cases that were already on the beds and pillows. Even the extra blankets, pillow cases, and sheets provided didn't smell so clean so I ended up washing many of the blankets, sheets, and pillow cases. In addition, one room had a pair of women's underwear under the bed. Pro's: The house was very spacious and had plenty of bath towels. The Property Manager was also very responsive and kind. We made the best of the situation and our vacation.

Sheets , lawn, shower,, garbage can etc. we take your reviews seriously and make changes as soon as we can. I traveled 16 hours to this property and arrived almost 4 hours after check in to a house that was still a mess from the people prior. When talking with the owner she got argumentative with me. She did send a pool guy over and a handy man. The handyman came back for the first three days to work on other things (the roof). Not very enjoyable. The house was very spacious. Would have been a better stay if things were ready when I arrived.

House needs a lot of maintenance. Not exactly as pictured.

The house is in serious need of maintenance. There was mold in the bathrooms, water stains on the ceilings and most of the light bulbs are burned out. It boasts outside use of barbecues however they are so rusted out they don't work. Only one of the outside bulbs work. The whole house needs a good cleaning and seeing a piece of 2x4 nailed across the garden doors was not reassuring upon first arriving.. The dishwasher is not secured in the cabinet and falls forward when the racks (bottom one broken) are pulled out. The sofa in the living room was completely broken on one end and not usable in that spot. I contacted the property manager with this info an was told they would look into it. Something that would have been helpful was having a list of the TV channels that were available as the only way to find out was to go through them one by one. Also some information on how to open the front door as just putting in the code was not successful. We also saw ducks going into the roof through a hole above the master bedroom. On a positive note the beds were comfortable and the linens were ample and clean.

The neighborhood was nice. The house needed maintenance. 1/2 the lights did not work,we got their after dark the light by the door did not work about broke our neck on the sunken room in the dark looking for a light. The frig was missing all door shelves and the ice tube held together with duct tape. The front door could only be held shut by the dead bolt,no latch. The pool was nice and clean. The gas grill had heat shields and the burners were burnt out and blew a single flame out of the grill, it should be thrown out. The master bath was newer but had mild on the shower wall. The second bath the vanity by the toilet was wrotten, the tube base was broken and duct taped. Also had mold on caulking in the tube. Other than that the furniture was ok and we enjoyed the back yard.

Sorry you had this perspective of the home Mike - not the usually view of other guests. There’s plenty of light- not sure why you didn’t find the switches in the wall?? The front door is locked only on top because people used to lock themselves out so we had to remove the bottom but it still locks Safely now. No more issues with lock outs. Thanks for your comment of the pool - it’s one of the main focus for guests. I wish you would’ve mentioned any of these issues while you were there so we could go check ASAP. We were in touch regarding the pool company not being able to get in due to your boat. Regarding the fridge and bath we are updating but house has been so busy it’s been difficult. Will be complete in the next 4 weeks. All in all thanks for staying and your useful comments.

First Fort Lauderdale vacation.

Let me say first of all that the communication with Yira was superb. All messages were answered within minutes. The property was exactly as listed. It’s in a nice neighborhood and it’s on a corner plot so the back garden is huge. The pool was clean and refreshing after a day out. There were plenty of toys and books to keep our children occupied. Thank you Yira for providing such a good house.

Rental was dirty and unkempt

We were giving the wrong code, luckily she reached out within 20 minutes with the correct code. Once we got in we noticed it was very dirty. Mold in the bathroom the bathroom mat was very moldy. None of the door stayed open. Needs some work. Reached out to the owner and she said we should’ve reached out sooner. It was easier to go buy cleaning supplies and clean it for our stay then having someone come in while we were there trying to relax.Once we got in we noticed it was very dirty. This guest stayed during super bowl weekend - got a great rate and even allowed to come in early. However complained about routine maintenance of yard landscaping company and continued to request discount for “cleaning supplies” yet couldn’t provide a receipt. Never mentioned anything about cleaning while there. We send out cleaning crew right back if there are any issues. Again it’s always best to call while you’re here not after the fact.

Almost perfect!

Beautiful home with amazing pool and plenty of space for our family. The house was not as fully equipped as some rentals we have stayed at before. There was not enough cookware or washcloths for our family of 9, however, the property manager promptly brought over things we needed when we contacted them. You can tell a lot of people have stayed at this house and probably not been very respectful as there were many broken things (one of the couches, legs on both the tables, closet door, and a knife set that seems to have been used to open lots of bottles!) All that being said, we had a great time there and appreciated the timely response and attention we received from Yari. The pool was lovely, and the canal was a lot of fun to kayak down. Definitely take the kayak down to the right of the canal to float along some exotic geese! Quiet neighborhood with Fort Lauderdale charm. Here's to making memories!

Prior to our arrival I reached out three times to get the code which I was told was to be given to me 48hrs prior and finally received it on Friday night at 7. The neighbor was very nice! Upon walking in the living room and kitchen where beautifully done. The bedrooms where adequate and beds where very comfortable. Master bath was nicely done. Rec room was also very nice. I have rented for the past six years and have never felt the need to give a bad review! With that said I have to say this was not what we booked. First it is not a 5 bedroom home. I don’t believe that a rec room as nice as it was is a bedroom. As far as lakefront that is not accurate either. It was a canal! No lake anywhere. The second bathroom was not well maintained at all. The bathtub was disgusting along with the mold on the shower liner. The tub floor was patched and the mat was taped to the floor. The towels where old and there where four face cloths that where new and not washed and the dye came out when you used them. The kitchen had a total of three bowls. Some of the pans just need to be thrown away. The water from the fridge was so moldy and dirty that we only used the ice. The remote for the tv in the living room had no batteries and one was corroded. So needless to say we had no remote. Outside the cushions that are in the picture are old and gross. One lounge chair is totally falling apart. The bridge to the dock is falling apart and the railings are not safe and the floor is missing a step. Needless to say we didn’t stand on the dock that is not on a LAKE! The lawn is not kept. Dead palm fronds are all over the yard along with coconuts. Some where there when we got there and some fell during the weather we had which we understood. However, if the dead ones where removed this wouldn’t be an issue. Luckily the large one that fell missed my husband as he was sitting outside. The smoke alarm started going off every 5 hrs on Wednesday and I did reach out and got a call back on how to fix it. It started again Saturday. I guess it angers me that I could have booked a 4 bedroom but wanted a 5 but got a four. And I expected lakefront! As that is what it said. It’s to bad as it has potential but needs to be cleaned better and advertised properly. I have reached out to HomeAway customer service. Glinda S.

This Property is one. of the best it just the right size for big family it clean , have nice back yard pool the only thing that must say is that the pool was not clean when we check in but that was done like the two day after was there the neighborhood is a nice one with some good people ever one had a good time that they all want to say in this house next year ,

disappointing stay May 2019

I asked to check in the night before my scheduled stay so let's put it out here that the owner gave me a discount for that additional night. I got there at 5pm and with the cleaning lady still im thw house I called the house managers to come down and take note of broken furniture dirty stained rugs AC not working dryer not working dirty front and back yard dirty patio broken tub in bathroom. the 5th bedroom pull out bed can't be called that no air goes in or out of that room unbearable hot. I placed multiple calls emails texts only answered on the date of my arrival when the house manager came to take note and the date before my departure with a sorry for the inconvenience. I went the extra length of buying black heavy duty trash bags to separate my garbage from the disaster left in the already full trash bins. all I am reporting is supported by pictures all shared with the house manager. before writing this review I sent a seperate message to the owner after my stay no response a week after. I got there the night before my guests arrival and saved what I could of that trip. the only good part of that whole stay was the pool.
