Located on pristine Sunset Beach in Treasure Island, this corner unit, top-floor, two-level, two balconies, beach front condo gives everything you need for a picture-perfect Florida vacation. (Please note the pool is currently not in service at this location)

The lack of communication between the management team was terrible. My car got towed 3 hours of checking in. Got feedback that they should not have towed the car. 2 day later zero response from office management The worst customer service after staying in sunset chateau! I will spend my money somewhere else where the guest is respected!

Overall a nice value as you are on the top floor corner with nothing but a short beach and ocean below you. Beautiful views from your balcony. Also the back of the unit has a great view of the intercoastal. The 2nd bedroom is great for two kids as it's two double beds rather than 1 queen where most siblings don't want to share a queen. It was a bit disappointing that the pool no longer exists. Also, if you spend your days on the beach, there are no ground level bathrooms. You can see that they have done some partial updates but I think there is a real opportunity to update the bathrooms and kitchen, the dining area, and fixtures to give it more of an updated feel to match some of the other units that you walk by. But again, it's priced fairly and accordingly without those updates being so close to the ocean. Again, overall a nice value and we really enjoyed our stay.

Our key code getting into the complex after 4 o'clock in the afternoon didn't work, but the owner was very helpful in watching the chats and called us a different code.They had a lot of items in the kitchen, which were helpful.It was great to have beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler. The upstairs floor seemed a little gritty, but I took out a broom and swept itWe didn't have to request toilet paper because we were left with two partial rolls and two full rolls for six days and four people. We were also left with a half of a roll of paper towels. I walked to the nearest public and purchase some paper towels. The management company did bring us more roles of toilet paper.

We have stayed at Sunset Chateu 3 times and absolutely love the location of this place. We loved this particular unit because of the private balcony upstairs in the master bedroom. This unit was clean and reasonably priced but could use some updating. Just cosmetic issues like new paint and carpet would make a huge difference.

Very Awesome view.!

We enjoyed our stay. Condo was very nice. Everything worked as should….including refrigerator which we saw an earlier review that said it wasn’t. Gorgeous view on the balcony…..especially the sunset! Loved Treasure Island…..had some issues with red tide but that is no fault of the owner. Owner was very responsive. Very friendly people around there. Pool was nice.

Great holiday.

We really enjoyed our vacation. The place was beautiful, inside and out, with minor needed updates and fixes. The living room couch is broken down and uncomfortable to sit or lounge upon and the refrigerator and freezer were not keeping items cold or frozen. This can be a relatively easy fix. We hope to come back next year. It was a good time.

We were changed from our original place to this one due to “unforeseen circumstances”. This place is in a great location, pretty far walk out from the condo onto the beach though but walking distance to shops and restaurants. Walking distance to playground close by for kids. Place was clean enough but could definitely use a deep clean. Parking is great for one car- it was covered! Check in was easy and convenient. It was also easy to contact rental company for any concerns during our stay. Would stay here again!

This place has a great layout, location and beautiful views. We loved the balconies and really enjoyed the beach. It has a fully stocked kitchen with all appliances working well and comfortable furniture. Unfortunately the floors (tiles and carpet) need a thorough deep clean. We requested a remop which the service did perform unfortunately it didn’t help the ground in tile dirt and carpet dirt. My feet tuned completely black walking around.

This condo was in the perfect location. The beach was gorgeous. Close to things we wanted to see and do. The condo could be awesome with a little extra love: -carpet needs replacing -hot water heater adjusted (my child burned their hand) -Freezer- the handle had fallen off -oven- the handle falls off -overall- could use some bleach and a good coat of paint. -stairs- super steep and narrow Patio- no furniture to sit and enjoy the view When we arrived there was no parking pass. I alerted the staff and they responded very quickly to bring us a pass. Views from the condo are incredible all the way around.

Love the location. Condo definitely needs an upgrade. Carpet on stairs and upper level is terribly dirty and has tack strips sticking out that my grandson got cut on. Had a breaker issue while there, fixed that, bedroom screen broke( they took it to be replaced and never got it back) front door had metal sticking out and got duct taped (needs new door). Looks like mold by balcony patio door. The location is the reason to stay there. Need to overlook how aged it is and in need of a facelift.

Great location, could have been cleaner.

We loved everything about the unit, except it wasn’t as clean as I had hoped. Specifically the kitchen. There was a clump of something that looked like cream cheese on the refrigerator handle and I don’t think the coffee cups were washed after the last use. Various other signs of a less than stellar cleaning job. But the view was awesome and the location was perfect!

This property is all about location

We believe this was the 4th time we ave stayed in this unit so we pretty much knew what o expect. Great location as others have noted. The property obviously has been well used and needs improvements. One towel bar broken off wall, corner base cabinet in kitchen door broken so it couldn’t be used, shower faucet knob broken, not enough wine glasses, door of dishwasher falls down, lumpy sofas, etc. The few concerns we had such as plumbing issues and lighting were addressed immediately by the property manager who provided excellent service. We were there the entire month of February. The owner could probably get a higher rate if they invested in some improvements but is probably a good cash generator as is.

This is the best beach we have ever visited! WOW!

Loved being higher up on 6th floor and not 1 but 2 balconies! One private off the upper floor bedroom and one shared. You could see down to the water and it was crystal clear!! We enjoyed watching the manatee, schools of stingrays, dolphins and lots of smaller fish all around the area. It was walking distance for food and entertainment. It's an older property yes, could use some freshing of paint ..sure but your at the ocean! Who cares. The price was more than fair for all that you got staying there and right on the beach. We concidered this an absolute bargin! We can not wait to go back. Definately staying here again!!!!. Loved how Treasure Island is so laid back and peaceful...not over developed.... so more private unlike for example being at Clearwater that is now stressfull, crowed and chaotic!

Amenities were misrepresented

Very disappointed that the advertised heated pool was closed for maintenance but not one time from Mon-Fridaybwas there any work done on the pool. I chose this property over others because it has the pool. I called property mgmt and they said they would call HOA and get back to me, not the case. Also kitchen has no pot big enough to make spaghetti. The condo is dated but still nice.

We are so sorry for the trouble with the pool! It was very unexpected that the pool would be closed during this guest's stay and we were not given notice so that we could let them know. Unfortunately, the pool will be closed for the month of October 2020, but will reopen next month with a new fresh look!

Didn’t meet expectations

There was construction going on in the building and the road out front the entire stay. Also construction in the condo right next door. Drilling, banging, beeping sounds the entire stay! The fridge didn’t really cool what was in it. The bottom step to the stairs was wobbling and dangerous. Bathroom sink didn’t drain. Definitely needed a really good ceiling job as well. Location was great but extremely disappointed with everything else.
