Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located fully renovated home. Everything is new top to bottom. Conveniently located only minutes from down town Pittsburgh. Short walking distance to historic Shiloh St, Grandview Overlook and the Monongahela Incline. You’ll enjoy 4 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with plenty of room for the entire family. If you’re in town for sports, work or anything else the city has to offer this is the perfect place for you.

Other things to note
There is an apartment below the main level of the house. Tenant does not have access to the house. Apartment has its own private entrance and there are no shared spaces.
I got a bad review because I did not disclose this before, so I want to be as transparent as possible.

We did not stay there because nothing was acceptable. Listing was not truthful. The house was unclean and stank of smoke just unpleasant. It was a disaster.

Extremely Disappointed — We paid a significant amount and feel the property was very misleadingly represented.The host sent a very demanding message about house rules but did not respond when I tried to contact him with questions.When we arrived, garbage cans were sitting full on the sidewalk and remained there our entire stay. There was also a dirty sock by the front door.Inside, the baseboards were filthy, and the couch and rugs looked dirty and heavily worn. We were specifically told not to wear shoes inside, yet the stairs to the bedrooms were filthy and appeared not to have been vacuumed.There was barely any toilet paper, and the bathroom hand soaps were empty. The bedding was especially concerning. The sheets appeared slept in and not freshly washed. We removed them ourselves to be washed and found a large stain on the mattress cover that appeared to be urine or coffee.The throw pillows were dirty and had holes, the blinds were broken and hanging, and the shower curtain was covered in soap scum.For what we paid, we expected a clean, well-maintained propertyThe property was not accurately represented, and the cleanliness and maintenance were unacceptable.

This home was very clean, decorated beautifully and in a convenient location. The description is a bit misleading. There are only 4 bedrooms with a queen bed in each. There is mention of an “office” with 2 Queen beds. This did not exist. What we found were 2 air mattresses stored in a closet. Also mentioned is a twin sleeper sofa. This did not exist. There was a living room sofa. There was an issue with lack of towels and linens. We DoorDashed them and were reimbursed by the host at a later time. At best, this home can comfortably sleep 10 adults. The host was apologetic after the fact. I suggest the host use full disclosure with the sleeping arrangements.

The house was very spacious for the people we had and location was great. However, there are 2 queen beds in the listing and they were air mattresses so it would be helpful to have that listed. In addition to this, there was stains and small hairs on every bed/set of sheets in the house, we had to put our t shirts as pillow cases because it didn’t seem clean. There are marks and cracks all over which is more cosmetic besides the ceiling having water damage likely from leaks in the past. The side door lock needs to be replaced because it’s very difficult to actually lock. The same side door is missing a lot of the blinds inside, no blinds in the upstairs bathroom which makes it odd for privacy reasons facing the house next door. Because it’s an old home the rooms upstairs get warm and it’s nice that there’s fans in the closets but they were so dusty we couldn’t use them. There are other minor things but we believe this was not properly prepared for guests. It’s a beautiful home in a convenient location but has not been maintained or cleaned well and the listing is misleading. I hope for the future the listing would be more transparent and more time invested into the home to prepare for guests.

Our group had an excellent stay in this home! The rooms were very clean and well-appointed. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. The location was impeccable. We had plenty of space!My one critique is that the listing mentions a fifth room, an “office” with two beds. In reality, this is two air mattresses with no dedicated room for them to go into. So you do have two extra beds, but not necessarily the space for them. I think I know why the hosts listed it that way, but I wish they had been more clear about it in the listing. Minor nitpick that had barely any impact on our stay!Overall, our group had an amazing time! We love Pittsburgh and we can’t wait to return to this house when we visit again!
