Wonderful neighborhood, full of restaurants, cafés, and shops. This property has both positives and drawbacks. On the plus side, it’s close to several markets, a coffee shop, a pizza place, and Uber drivers can easily find it. However, traffic noise is significant. Even as good sleepers, we needed a white noise app at night. The street noise also made the balcony less enjoyable, especially since the chairs lacked back cushions. We had looked forward to using the balcony but hardly did.Inside, everything worked as expected—HVAC, bathrooms, kitchen, and lighting. The bed was comfortable, though the sofa wasn’t ideal. The kitchen was understocked, missing basics like measuring cups and spoons. There were salt and pepper shakers, but both were empty. Also, the prior user or cleaning service had put dirty dishes back in the cabinet; we had to wash before using. (We are not "clean freaks.)Laundry facilities are available, but they’re token‑operated machines on the top floor, and tokens must be purchased about three blocks away. They worked fine once sorted out, but it’s less convenient than advertised.Towels were limited, so if you prefer face cloths, bring your own.Overall, we loved the city and will definitely return to Palermo—but next time, we’ll choose a location further away from Av. Raúl Scalabrini Ortiz.
