We were looking for an old school, quiet, and peaceful retreat for a long weekend, and this place was just exactly what we were looking for. We could hear the loons calling on the lake as we fell asleep. We adventured to Manitou Waters and Boulder Junction for coffee each of the mornings to explore, and then explored their crystal clear waters of the lake at the cabin, and read on the dock all afternoon and evening. The little vintage cabin had everything we needed, and was great for making meals and relaxing. Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful there. Carie was an excellent communicator, and was so helpful and responsive for any questions we had. Hoping we can head back next summer.
