Turtle Nest! Private Heated Pool and Access to the Beach

Remodeled in 2025, this comfortable and tastefully furnished home offers everything you need for a relaxed vacation with your family or friends.

The large private heated pool (approx. 33 feet in length) is surrounded by beautiful landscape and offers covered in-pool seating and small table, the perfect spot to relax in the pool with your favorite drink. Also available on the patio is an outdoor shower, outdoor dining table for six with umbrella, as well as BBQ to cook some burgers, steaks or fresh catch of the day. Beach equipment such as chairs, umbrella and wagon are avialable and ready for your use.

The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed, smart TV, and en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two single beds. All bedrooms are equipped with smart TVs and ceiling fans. A hallway bathroom with shower/ tub combination is located between the guest bedrooms.

The open kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and includes a microwave, dishwasher, range, stove and side-by-side fridge. The dining, living and kitchen area offer ample space to comfortably seat six people. There is also a full size high-quality washing machine and dryer available to you.

The beach is nearby: In approx. 300 m at the end of the quiet street is a direct beach access. The access to the beach is considered as private and for local residents only, therefore you should have lots of space on the beach at every time of day.

Noise Ordinance: The City of Holmes Beach has a noise ordinance with quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM, prohibiting unreasonable, loud, or excessive noise that disturbs the peace, with specific decibel limits (65 dBA daytime, 50 dBA nighttime) and fines for violations, enforced by code officers using noise meters.

Great stay

Overall the property was perfect for our family trip. This is definitely a neighborhood area and the house is a duplex, so you have some really close neighbors. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! The house was spotless and very comfortable. Easy walk to the beach especially while hauling wagon, cooler, chairs and floats. Management company was quick to respond to any questions I had. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to returning.

We absolutely loved this place! Very clean and comfy. The home had everything we needed and easy access to the beach and local area restaurants and shops. Communication with the owners was easy and they took note of a few things that needed attention. Pool area was perfect with nice landscaping, warm water and the necessary pool toys. Thank you for a a home away from home

Excellent home.

We loved the Turtle Nest. There was some construction next door but honestly we were fine with it as we understand repairs from hurricane damage continues. The home exceeded our expectations. The pool, beach equipment a HUGE plus!

Cute house in great location.

Turtle Nest is a cute house with small pool. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and had a great time hanging out by the pool.

Clean and Close to Beach. Backyard Pool Oasis.

The property was just like the pictures and as described. Very close to the beach and the backyard and pool are a little oasis and perfect for our young son.

Get Away

We traveled with my 86-year-old dad. Having a private pool as well as private beach access was perfect! The option to go to several other beaches very close by was also a plus. No shortage of restaurants either. For our family, this was the get away that we needed!

Great place to explore Anna Maria Island

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Turtle's Nest. The property was very clean and in a great location to explore the area. The heated pool was a big hit with our grandchildren and we enjoyed using it every day of our stay. The unit was well supplied with beach towels, beach chairs, and toys for the beach and pool. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Lovely rental with everything you need.

Very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Entertaining areas have everything you need. Awesome little essentials bag to get you started with soaps/paper products. The in unit washer/dryer was fantastic! We all thought the beds were quite comfortable despite other reviews.

We checked and two beach umbrella anchors are available inside the beach item storage box. Towel holder has been repaired. Wonderful Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and had enough room for 4-6 people. Its not a huge house, but it has everything you need and a large pool. We spent half our time outside and half inside. Short 5 min walk to the beach, and the property has all the gear you need + a beach wagon to haul it there. We cooked many meals here and the kitchen is well equipped. Highly recommend this place. Mgt was super helpful for the little things we had questions about.

Great place! Great location!

It was overall a terrific stay!! However, a few things need some updating/replacing. The master bed was just awful; caved into the middle and the pillows are flat as a board. In addition, the beach chairs were all rusted or close to breaking- make sure you’ve had a tetnis shot! Other than those things the place was clean, close to the beach and the pool was perfect! Would recommend for sure!

Great beach house with everything you need!

This place has everything you need for your stay. Lots of room, I would say probably wouldn’t hurt to have a bigger couch or add an additional lounge chair if you have more then four people staying. Loved having plenty of beach chairs and beach cart to take everything to the beach. In all I have stayed in Holmes Beach now three times and wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again. We had no real complaints.

Thank you for the feedback. One of the loungers broke a couple of days prior to your arrival. New loungers were ordered, but shipping took a while unfortunately. Two new sun loungers are now available again at the property.

Nice place but

Decent house, nice patio and pool, kitchen well stocked BUT no hand soaps provided in bathrooms, kitchen chairs terribly uncomfortable, couch uncomfortable, mattress's extremely uncomfortable especially the second bedroom king, pillows terribly uncomfortable. A good night’s sleep is important. Location great.

Thank you for your feedback. Please accept our apologies for the missing handsoaps. Our cleaners always provide such, but must have been overlooked. Please always let us know if something is missing and we will happily look into such immediately. Different guests have differences preferences for firmess of mattress and pillows and we are sorry to hear that it was not ideal for you and your family. We shared your feedback with the homeowners and a new living room sofa has been purchased.

Retirement celebration

We had a wonderful week on Anna Maria Island. The house was perfect for a family of four. The living room area is pretty small but we didn't spend much time in there. Our one suggestion would be a larger waste basket in the kitchen. There was only a small one and no place to but the recycles. The pool was wonderful! We really enjoyed it. The beach equipment was great to have and we took advantage of it. Overall we had a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful Property

This home and property is beautiful. The pool was wonderful and I could actually get some (short) laps everyday. I wish I could say comfortable. The living room furniture was extremely uncomfortable. Not "lounge-able" for TV viewing. The bed was way too soft and high. We had a few issues that were addressed almost immediately, but no weekend service from the Island Dreams.

Thank you for the feedback. New living room furniture and mattresses will be purchased in the next few weeks. Our apologies that you were disappointed with our weekend service. We are available during the weekend. We received a call at 8PM on Saturday, asking if the living room TV had Netflix available. The living room was not a smart TV, so we purchased and installed a ROKU devide on Monday, so that TV would be able to offer Netflix.

Description is wrong it's not a house it's a shared condo Upon check in pool was very dirty AC went out 2nd day there and was asked to stay at house to empty buckets of water until HVAC guy showed up which I'm on vacation was told by 530 he would be there did not show up till 1030 pm that night so we came back to property at 130pm an Sat there till 530 he never showed so couldn't leave or do anything 1030pm he shows up with flash lights inside windows and doors knocking on door Its a nice condo but very mislead it's not a house it's a shared condo

We are sorry to hear that your stay was not entirely what you had hoped for. The listing does not state that this is a single family home, and pictures and shared rental address don't suggest such either. The statement that the pool was dirty upon your arrival is incorrect. We stopped by 30 minutes after we were informed of such and only found a few small pieces from surrounding brush at the bottom of the pool, which our staff removed with th/e provided pole and net within a few minutes. On Sunday, around 3PM, we were informed that AC was not working properly. We stopped by at 4PM to diagnose the issue and got A/C running again at 4:30PM, but still required or A/C company to make the lasting repair. We received pictures of repair from A/C company around 10PM, so they must have shown up prior to guest stated 10:30PM arrival and we appreciated the A/C company addressing such on a Sunday evening. We were disappointed to find a very noticeable smoke odor inside the home, which needed to be addressed prior to next guest arrival.
