About this property

The villas at Ocean Dunes are professionally managed by Vacation Time of Hilton Head and are best rented directly through our website.

This one bedroom villa has a full kitchen, combined living room dining room area and separate bedroom with a king sized bed and one bathroom. This unit also has a king sized sofa sleeper in the living room and a pair of bunk beds ideal for smaller children. The balcony off the living room area provides a direct view of the ocean. Each unit in Ocean Dunes has wireless internet service.

The Ocean Dunes, oceanfront pool is now a heated pool which will be open seven days a week all year long. The temperature will be set to 82 degrees which is the industry standard. The pool hours are from 9AM till sunset.

The Ocean Dunes Complex is an oceanfront property approximately 70 yards from the beach on South Forest Beach Drive and just a short distance from Coligny Plaza and the Coligny Beach Park.

Guests have access to the Hilton's Oceanside Bar and Grill and Starbucks.

A Moldy Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My name is Lindsey, and my husband and I just returned from a week long stay (Aug. 13-20) at Ocean Dunes in Unit 312.Upon arriving to the unit everything looked to be satisfactory. Our late check in process was well detailed and accommodating which we greatly appreciated. The view from the condo to the beach was also perfect.However, there were a few problems with the unit. The unit was pretty dirty and really truly lacked a deep clean.The main dilemma that we faced this week was that the unit was covered in black mold. The restroom and shower were completely unacceptable. The mold was everywhere and the shower curtain/liner/hooks were moldy and rusty. There was also a great deal of mold in the A/C units which has caused some illness in our small family. I am still recovering from the mold illness that I got while we were occupying ocean dunes..The unit is unsafe to occupy for the safety and health of guests. While the unit had been remodeled, I would have preferred to have stayed in an older unit that was cleaner and without mold.I would greatly consider taking this unit off of the market until the mold issues can be remedied. The price of the condominium for the week is high and should more than cover the cost of mold removal. In my professional opinion, I would be embarrassed to rent a unit covered in mold.I took a few photos to share if needed. Please e-mail me to see those.
