For the 50th Anniversary of Ocean Village the community has undergone a "makeover". A multi-million dollar remodel of the main pool has resulted in a palm tree lined resort style pool with a new hot tub, lap lanes and a children's pool. The tiki-bar and restaurant are under new management. A new community center has been completed and it includes a modern fitness center and a large multiple purpose area which is used for daily group fitness classes, bingo, clubs, and activities and meetings. From the community center you can watch people playing on the newly remodeled clay tennis courts or walk over to the new pickleball facility with five courts and grandstanding seating area. At the main club house, improvements have been made to the community library and the game room, which now houses two ping-pong tables. The bocci ball, shuffleball and basketball courts have been resurfaced. New palm trees and native plants have been planted throughout the community and a new crushed shell walking trail has been installed. Our "Beach Cottage" has a breathtakingly beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. We are located on the third (top) floor in the Villa III cluster, in the 1100 building, with a view overlooking the golf course, the main pool, and the ocean. This one bedroom/one bathroom unit has two full-sized beds and a sleeper sofa, a fully furnished kitchen, and a screened patio. This unit is centrally located to all the amenities and just a short walk to a pristine, private beach.

Take a walk: Within minutes, you could be looking for shells on the beach, or swimming in one of two pools/hot tubs, or you could be enjoying yourself at the poolside tiki-bar or restuarant. Wander around and decide whether you want to sit by the pool, help with the community puzzle in the library, work out in the gym, or play pickleball, tennis, ping-pong, bocce ball, or shuffleboard. Or you could just decide to sit on the patio and watch the golfers, the ducks in the pond, or the waves in the ocean.

Go fly a kite or hook up that new drone and camera you’ve been wanting to try out and enjoy the wide-open space available for you to use. Bring your bicycles and ride down the island to Jetty Park where you can watch the boats, the manatees, and the fishermen, or enjoy a drink or a meal.

Dining: Whether you are a fabulous cook or you just need a respite from the kitchen, our world is your oyster. Enjoy cooking in our kitchen equipped with microwave, dishwasher, pots, coffee maker, blender, dishes, drinking and wine glasses, and utensils. Our kitchen has an open concept overlooking the living room and the TV. Publix (6 miles) and Aldi's (5 miles), our local grocery stores, are both to your north and south of our location and are just a quick jaunt up and/or down the island. Uber Eats & Door Dash are also available for takeout. If you want something close, head to the Tiki bar or Ocean Village's full-service restaurant, right on the beach.

For your convenience, your washer and dryer are right in your condo and there's no need to bring your hairdryer, iron, or beach towels.

Fort Pierce is often called “Sunrise City”. It offers contemporary shopping, dining, art galleries, museums, great fishing and a range of entertainment and activities such as the Farmers’ Market, the Sunrise Theater for the Performing Arts, the Navy Seal Museum, Jetty Park, St. Lucie County Aquarium - Smithsonian Marine Ecosystems Exhibit, Heathcote Botanical Gardens, the Manatee Center, FAU Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, and A. E. Backus Gallery & Museum. Located within a few miles from the water view restaurants of Historic Downtown Fort Pierce, Jensen Beach, or Stuart, there are plenty of options for ways to fill your days!


South Hutchinson Island: When you rent here, you will find yourself in a quiet, peaceful resort located on South Hutchinson Island about 90 minutes north of West Palm Beach, 2 hours to Disney World, 1/2 hour north of Stuart, 15 minutes from Jensen Beach and 1/2 hour south of Vero Beach. We are located 2 miles south of the northern tip of South Hutchinson Island.

Location: Ocean Village is right in the heart of Florida's Treasure Coast, on South Hutchinson Island. We are located about 2 hours from Walt Disney World in Orlando, an hour from Palm Beach, two hours from Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, and two hours from Florida’s Gulf Coast. Ocean Village is located on an unspoiled island which gives residents and visitors an intimate involvement with the sea. The complex is situated east of the A1A directly on the Atlantic Ocean on South Hutchinson Island. It lies adjacent to the city of Fort Pierce and is accessible by crossing the P. P. Cobb Bridge. The wonderful sub-tropical climate truly makes year-round living here a real pleasure.

Golf Information: Our condo overlooks a gorgeous executive nine-hole golf course, with lovely lakes and fountains, meanders through the community and is available to you at any time (for a nominal fee). Please checkout the Ocean Village website to book tee times. Professional instructors are available. For those who prefer more of a challenge, Ocean Village is a fabulous place to enjoy a golf vacation with no less than 20 championship style golf courses (mostly Fazio, Nicklaus and Gary Player designed) all within a 40-minute drive. Reasonable golf prices can be range for 18 holes depending upon your skill level and willingness to look around. Most courses are open to the public. The "season" in Florida is absolutely delightful!


Pickleball: In the Summer of 2025, a five court pickleball facility opened up with grandstand seating.

Tennis: Ocean Village provides 10 quality tennis courts. The Tennis Center, with has four NEW hydro-court subsurface clay courts, also offers professional instruction, fun-filled leagues and competitive tournaments.

Fishing: The beach at Ocean Village is a great place to surf fish for Bluefish, Pompano and other species all year round. Also, there is excellent fishing at the South Jetty at Fort Pierce Inlet. The PP Cobb Bridge which connects S. Hutchinson Island with the town of Fort Pierce also has 2 catwalks which offer excellent Indian River fishing as well. There is also great fishing 10 minutes north on the Little Jim Bridge on the causeway to North Hutchinson Island.

Walton Rocks Beach is just minutes down the island and it is a great place to go surfing or to walk your dog. This is a leashless dog beach where people gather to let their four-legged friends play.

Grapefruit League Baseball: Grapefruit League Baseball Ocean Village is within a half hour drive of the LA Dodgers (Vero Beach) and NY Mets (St. Lucie West) Spring Training Camps...In addition, once spring training ends in early April, the minor league affiliates of both teams (Vero Beach Dodgers & St. Lucie Mets) play a full season of Class A Florida League baseball at these same sites from April to mid-September. Most of these minor league games are played at night and are very inexpensive. You can find discount coupons for many of the Mets games in many convenience stores and in the local newspapers. Although you've probably never heard of most of the players, it's a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon or evening.

Nature Watching: The untouched natural area south of the village is exciting to explore. In addition to seeing multiple types of birds and fish, you will see signs of the sea turtles that nest on our beaches. Go check out Bear Point Sanctuary, the Bath Tub Reef, the House of Refuge or the Florida Oceanography Center.

Transportation: A car is strongly suggested; Uber or taxi cabs are also available, but not close by.
