We were excited to book this home for a nearby family wedding, hoping to spend a quality weekend together as cousins. However, the layout was not what we anticipated. The separate living areas, while potentially ideal for some, ended up dividing our group rather than bringing us together. It would have been helpful if the listing had more clearly described the segmented layout having no common area to share time together. Another important note: the house sits at the top of more than 25 stairs. This detail should be highlighted in the listing, as it made carrying luggage and supplies in and out more difficult than expected. Thankfully we are able bodied but would be impossible for someone who is not. When we arrived, the home had a noticeable musty, closed-up smell — understandable for a ski lodge in the off-season, but it did make it clear that the property hadn’t been aired out or checked prior to our arrival. The presence of ants and small bugs in the kitchen reinforced this. We ended up buying Raid at the local Dollar General to manage the ant issue ourselves.Lastly, the upstairs (third floor) TV didn’t work; plus the remote had dead batteries. There were only 3 small hand towels provided for the 3rd floor space. We had to share towels from the downstairs unit in order to shower. Small things, but they add up.With a few updates and more accurate listing details, this could be a great spot. As it stands, it just didn’t provide the group vibe we were hoping for.

The house had plenty of room and space for everyone to visit with each other and the kids to play. Nice location, definitely want to come back in the winter to ski!

Place is very clean and 10 feet from ski slope. It has lots of stairs which could be a problem for some people.

Perfect Ski Cabin

We loved this cabin. Super easy to ski in and ski out. Fully stocked with all things you need. Only negative is you have to go outside and up a flight of stairs to get to the second floor.

4 roommates from college (class of 93). Yearly girls weekend. Lots of food and laughter. Leaves were beautiful. Very clean. Had everything we needed.

Ski vacations

The house was clean, not fancy but adequate. There are a LOT of steps getting to the second and third floors. Unloading from the car was an aerobic event.

Great experience

The weather was not great and half the mountain had to close but this house was perfectly placed so that we didn’t have to walk too far when the lift closed for the day. It was clean, check in was simple and our contact person was attentive to all questions. Was not aware it was a split unit until we received our check in instructions. Would love to get info on how to rent both units for next year.

Just What We Were Looking For

The property was just as we expected. We were a group of 8 (2 familys of 4) planning to ski and snowboard. Each family had a floor to ourselves with plenty of room. Access to the slopes was excellent regardless of skill level. Beginners could easily walk to the learning area and more experienced could quickly get to lifts going to 3 different areas of the resort. Property was clean and furnished to suite our needs and expectations. The stairs were more than we would have cared for but all of the other rentals there were the same or worse when it came to having to climb. Planning to stay there again next trip.

Perfect location for the slopes!

What an amazing place! It was everything out group needed for a nice weekend ski trip. The downstairs had a spacious living area and kitchen that easily fit our group and the sleeping arrangements both upstairs and downstairs allowed us privacy and an escape as needed. Being able to walk to the ski lifts and enjoy a day on the slopes was perfect! Would love to go back.

Best Stay and Guest Contact

Our stay was great but our guest contact Kathleen was even better! We only had one day to ski. We get up to hit the slopes and due to weather the slopes were closed all day! What to do with 5 teenagers who are ready to experience skiing for the first time after traveling 5 hours?! The thought of packing up and going back home after doing nothing broke my heart! I reached out to Kathleen to let her know what happened and my situation. She was so responsive, helpful, and accommodating! She understood my frustration, the money I had spent and my mama heart for wanting my kids to enjoy this mini vacation. After a few text and phone calls, Kathleen was able to work out an accommodation so that my kids were able to get almost a full day on the slopes. Kathleen went above and beyond and her kindness and generosity was appreciated more than she will ever know! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The location is fantastic and easy access to slopes. This is the 1st time using this house because we outgrew the condos. Already booked again for next year!!! The property management was very quick with responses.

Great Value, Great Location

This place was perfect for our needs with a group. They have all the beds listed plus two cots that you can use upstairs. The one couch upstairs does not pull out (it's broken), but that didn't have any effect on our stay with the use of the cots. Just a note - I couldn't figure this out beforehand - there are three bedrooms downstairs, and the room with two queens is upstairs on the third floor. The room with the two queens is really large and spacious, you have plenty of room to set up the extra folding cot. The kitchen is outfitted with lots of pots and pans. We did big group meals - a spaghetti dinner and chili night and had plenty of large pots for boiling water and heating up sauce. Lots of dishes. Bring your own dishwasher pods if you have a big group - they provide 2 to get you started though. They also provide 2 laundry pods, so bring those if you plan to do laundry. If you get cold, don't worry - this place is outfitted with blankets galore. Look in closets and drawers, you'll have all your needs met! I loved this. And the location can't be beat. You are right there by the main lodge. We loved being able to eat breakfast and walk out and ski, come back for lunch and ski more, and then eat dinner and go back out for night skiing. It's so convenient. You'll hear some highway noise, but that didn't bother us at all. We were coming to ski and be close to the slopes - if you love to ski, this place is really an exceptional value. I think it's priced fairly and ski lovers will find themselves quite happy with the choice. I plan on renting again next year!

When I booked this house nowhere in any of the descriptions did it inform me that this house was 3 different very small apartments that had separate entrances. What I thought I had purchased was an entire house for my family of 16 people turned out to be only 2 floors. I did not have access to the bottom floor because another family was in it. Part of my family had to find places to stay at the last minute. The two floors I could access were small and poorly constructed from where the house was turned into apartments. No handicap access to anything. If anyone is looking at renting this dump and have any disabilities, please find another place to stay. Iam considering hiring a lawyer to look at the misleading information on this property. There were no exhaust fans in the restrooms or kitchen. No smoke detector in the kitchen or living room. I HATED THIS PLACE

Nice property

This was a nice property. We stayed to ride SxS. Drive way fits approximately 3 trucks and trailers. Beware lots of steps. Other than that the only thing I have to complain about is the highway noise with no TV in bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
