Casa Romira - Authentic villa w/ mountain views, pool, BBQ & large garden

Casa Romira is a very beautiful and fully renovated Catalan farmhouse with room for 14 people. It dates back to 1238. It is 400m2 large and has three floors. The swimming pool is large and has a wonderful view. Moreover, it is fenced in order to make it secure for the small children. The outdoor area is marvelous, making Romira a true gem of a Catalan holiday home.

The house location is perfect: It is at the end of a small dirt road, which is good to drive on. This location means that the house lies in completely private surroundings - here there are no noisy neighbors. The holiday home is situated in the middle of the Catalonian countryside and it is surrounded by hills. This gives among others a very breathtaking view, which helps to provide the unique and relaxing atmosphere. Furthermore you are just 500 meters from the owner’s Michelin-starred restaurant, and it should definitely be visited. The restaurant also has a playground and a large pool, which you as guests of Casa Romira can also use.

The special feature of this house is that it fits to a very large target group. There is simply something for everyone: There is a large and well-kept garden where you can enjoy nature to the fullest. There are plenty of playing opportunities in the nice courtyard, where there for an example can be played table tennis, basketball and even football. There is also a swimming pool with a size of 50 m2 with sun beds. Here you can enjoy the Catalan sun while cooling off in the delicious cold water. It is also fenced for security reasons - this is very nice to have, when you bring small children.
There is also a nice covered patio with a long dining table, where there is seating for all the guests. There is also a BBQ grill. Here you can cook your own homemade meals and enjoy them in the warm evenings.

Casa Romira has a total of three floors. At the main entrance there is a small dining table and sofas with a TV. This room is beautifully decorated with a few pieces of old Catalan farm implements. From here you will find a staircase that goes up to the first floor, which has a size of 250 m2. Here you can find a dining room, the kitchen, a cozy little fireplace room, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and access to the terrace, where you can see down in the aforementioned farm.
There is also a French balcony on the first floor with excellent views of the garden and pool.
Inside the dining room there is another staircase that leads up to the top floor on which there are a large and spacious room with room for 4 persons, and where there is a possibility of 2 extra beds. This room is perfect for a group of children or teenagers. Furthermore there is a bathroom.
In total there are 5 double rooms and 1 four-person room. In addition there are 4 bathrooms in Casa Romira.
The house has recently got WIFI internet that goes all the way down to the pool.

The property is located only 10 km. from the small and lovely village of Gironella. You can also take a trip to Barcelona and get an experience.

Lisbeth and I (Bertel) are the owners of the company SYDENS FERIEHUSE. For the last 14 years we have engaged in letting out fantastic Catalan holiday homes, all of which live up to our criterias: they are authentic, charming homes and are all of a very high standard. We help Ma Dolors and her family let out CASA ROMIRA.

We consider the perfect holiday to consist of two parts - a nice holiday home and some great excursions and activities.
