Beautiful Casita

Our third stay in this wonderful casita in private grounds just minutes from the centre of Solar. The view of the Tramuntana Mountains from the pool area is outstanding! Juana and her family were kind and attentive during our stay. Recommended!

Perfect!

We wanted for nothing during our week stay at Ca’s Carboner! The villa is well stocked with everything you need, including a laundry, a wonderful power shower and a stunning garden with pool. Juana and Andrés came twice during our stay to see to the garden and attend to the pool. They are a super friendly couple, really attentive and helpful. Andrés even found some mosquito repellent plug ins for us when I complained about some nasty bites! The villa is a very short walk from the centre of Soller, but the very busy MA11 needs to be crossed with care! It is on the Main footpath into the port and is well worth doing as the view is stunning. We caught the tram back. Another worthwhile walk is to the nearby village of Biniaraix with a stop for lunch and a long drink. Thank you to Andrés and Juana. We hope to visit your lovely villa again!

A blissful, hideaway sanctuary!

The best property my wife and I have stayed in as a couple seeking some peace and quiet. Wonderful welcome from a warm and welcoming host and her partner (I think!) while a glorious basket of mixed fruit and two small bottles of cava were waiting, ready to launch our holiday. The villa is tricky to find the first time so you need to meet up in the nearby sports hall car park. From there it is a two minute drive down a narrow lane to reach the property, or you could walk it easily in five minutes leaving the car where it is. The pool was superb, immaculately clean and a good size, the terrace with outside dining area has tremendous views of the Tramantuna mountains, a UNESCO world heritage site. A ten minute walk down the back path leads to the old town with its tram cars linking to the port, bars and restaurants. It is worth bearing in mind that the path from the parking space down to the villa is very steep so people with mobility issues would need to consider that. That small matter aside, my wife and I thought it just about perfect for us and we have every intention of returning there next year if able. A wonderful spot which is cared for and meticulously presented by a terrific host.

agréable séjour

Nous étions très bien reçus par Juana et son mari, les deux très sympathiques. Leur maison est un petit havre de calme pas loin du centre du Soller. (environ 15 min jusqu'à la place centrale, 7 min jusqu'au supermarché. Comme il a fait exceptionnellement chaud cet automne nous avons pleinement profité de la magnifique piscine encore fin octobre! La photo de la salle de bain est obsolète. Maintenant il y a une cabine de douche fixe, encore mieux.

Paradies im Orangen- und Zitronenhain

Das Quartier liegt ideal für viele Exkursionen per Pedes, Autobus oder Mietwagen rund um Soller. Die Casita ist klein, aber zweckmäßig, gut ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die abgeschiedene große Terrasse samt Pool und der sehr gepflegte Garten voller Blüten und Früchte ist ein Traum und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Blick in die umliegende Bergwelt raubt einem den Atem! Juana und Andres sind sehr liebenswürdige und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!! Sechs von fünf möglichen Sternen! Von Orangen und Zitronen umgeben

Bei der Unterkunft handelt es sich um ein kleines Haus in ruhiger Lage am Rand von Soller, doch fußläufig zur Innenstadt. Das Haus und die Einrichtung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für zwei Personen ist ausreichend Platz und es funktioniert auch alles gut. Vielen Dank für die Willkommens-Getränke. Im Wohnzimmer ist das weisse Licht der einzigen Lampe an der Decke und das laute Geräusch des großen Kühlschranks auf Dauer unangenehm. Die Außenanlage mit Pool, großem Zitronen-/Orangenhain und Bergblick ist großartig. Parken sollte man besser an der Hauptstraße, da die Zufahrt sehr eng ist. Die Kommunikation mit Juana war schnell und zuverlässig. Leider ist die Erhebung der Touristen-Steuer vollkommen intransparent. Im Inserat waren 30,80 € angegeben, bezahlt wurden letztendlich 38,80 €. So hohe Gebühren errechnen sich aus der üblichen Abgabe auf Mallorca nicht. Daher die Bitte, die Gebühren doch in einer Abrechnung nachvollziehbar anzugeben. Noch folgende Hinweise: Die Küchenmesser sollten geschärft und die Kaffeemaschine entkalkt werden.

Perfect October getaway

We had the perfect break here. A secluded villa with a private pool, parking, aircon and everything you need for a week away from it all. A short walk to Soller town, with interesting mountain paths to take you to the port or Deia on foot, or the bus and tram. Good cooking facilities so we didn’t have to eat out every night. Juana was the perfect host. Clear communication and willing to help out when we thought we might not be able to make it. Plus a lovely treat of drinks in the fridge to welcome us. We will definitely return! Thanks Juana!

A tranquil paradise, ett stilla paradis

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Casita. It is a tranquil paradise in a lemon and orange garden with roses and a nice pool out of sight for neighbors. A short walking distance to supermarkets and the old town of Soller with its cathedral, restaurants and an old fashion tram crossing the main square. The house is nice and neat with a bedroom, a bathroom and a living room with a fully equipped kitchen. Suitable for a coupe and possibly one or two small children. Splendid service from the hosts makes you feel very welcome. We can strongly recommend this Casita for a stay. Vi har haft nöjet att semestra i denna underbara lilla Casita. Det är ett stilla paradis i en citron- och apelsinlund med rosor och en fin pool utan insyn från grannar. På kort promenadavstånd från mataffär och gamla stan i Soller med dess katedral, restauranger och spårvagn i gammal stil som korsar torget. Huset är litet och fint med ett sovrum, badrum och ett vardagsrum med fullt utrustad köksdel. Lämpligt för par, möjligen med ett par mindre barn. Utmärkt service av värdarna som får dig att känna dig välkommen. Vi kan varmt rekommendera denna Casita för din semester.

Det lille hus i appelsinlunden

Vi boede også i dette hus i 2020 og valgte det igen i år. Beliggenheden er god, ikke så langt fra bus stop og supermarked. Og der er dejligt roligt. Uden trafikstøj. Huset er lige tilpas stort til et par og så er der denne store have med citrustræer plus en stor flisebelagt veranda med 2 liggestole. Og toppen af kransekagen er den velpassede og rene swimmingpool med saltvand i. Værtsparret meget søde og hjælpsomme, eneste problem med dem er deres sparsomme engelskkundskaber. Man bliver nødt til at kommunikere skriftligt på engelsk på mail, som så bliver oversat.

Ein fantastischer Urlaub im Zitronengartens

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem Zitronen- und Orangengarten in dem man sich auch bedienen darf. Die Aussicht auf die Berge ist fantastisch. Ich habe es geliebt auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und die Aussicht zu genießen. Die Gastgeber waren total nett. Wir hatten uns bei der Ankunft verlaufen aber man hat uns dann mit dem Auto gerettet . Der Kühlschrank war mit Getränken gefüllt und Obst war auch da. Die Lage in Soller ist super. Ruhig aber nicht zu weit vom Zentrum. Den tollen Pool konnten wir im November nicht mehr nutzen aber auch er ist klasse. Wir kommen wieder!

Better the 2nd time round.

We stayed at this lovely Casita in 2016 and were excited we managed to book again this year. It is set in a beautiful lemon and orange grove with stunning views past the pool to the Traumuntana mountains. Andres and Juana greeted us like long lost friends and had stocked the fridge with fresh fruit, wine and Cava! The Casita is small but so well equipped if you decide to cook at home! The town is 10-15 mins walk away with lots of great bars and restaurants. We requested some extra pillows on the 2nd morning and Juana arrived 20 minutes later, excellent hosts. Thank you so much we will be back .

Absolut ruhige und dennoch zentrale Finca im wunderschönen Tal von Soller

Kleine Finca mit wunderschönem Garten und Pool und einen faszinierenden Blick auf die Berge. Wir konnten täglich Orangen ernten und haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt! Comfortable inside, amazing outside and views to die for.

Lovely accommodation. Ample space for 2 adults. Comfy bed and pillow. Fab shower. Living area ....all you needed. Oranges and lemons galore. Pool good size and great condition. Sun terrace so relaxing, mesmerising views of the surrounding mountains.. Nice to be out of the main town, but using the bottom gait only 5 minutes to the local supermarket and 10 minutes to the bus station or town center. Highly recommend.

perfekter Urlaub in Ca s Carboner

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Soller im Casita von Juana und Andres. Sie sind aufmerksame Gastgeber und haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Haus ist gemütlich - die traumhafte Terrasse mit herrlichem Pool und Blick in die Berge lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir durften Orangen und Zitronen ernten und genossen jeden Tag frischen Saft. Bis zum Ortszentrum sind es nur wenige Gehminuten und auch der Einstieg in viele Wanderwege ist leicht erreichbar. Man kann - wie wir, die vielen einsamen Pfade der Tramuntana entdecken oder die Berge von der Dachterrasse aus bestaunen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Erholung mit schönen Blick auf die Berge

Wir haben uns in dem großen, wunderbaren Garten mit Orangen- ZItronenbäumen mit ausreichend großer und gepflegten Casita für 2 Personen sehr gut erholt. Es war alles da, was wir in der Küche und zum komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigten. Auch im Februar, wenn Sollérs Nächte noch sehr frisch sind, wird es mit HIlfe der Klimaanlage im Haus sehr schnell warm. Ich war trotzdem sehr froh, meine Lammfellhausschuhe dabei gehabt zu haben (Fliesen). Tagsüber haben wir die sonnigen Terrasse sehr ausgiebig genutzt oder waren in der Umgebung etwas wandern. EInkaufen oder essen gehen ist in wenigen Fußminuten erreichbar, ins Ortzentrum etwa 10 Minuten. Zum Frühstücken haben wir den besten Platz gehabt: Auf der sonnigen Terasse mit jeden Morgen frisch gepressten Orangensaft mit den Orangen aus dem Garten! Der Kontakt mit Juana und Andrés war sehr unkompliziert und herzlich, sie sind äußerst liebenswürdige Gastgeber und immer ansprechbar. Für einen kleinen Mietwagen befindet sich ein Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück. Wir können Cas Carboner sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder Sabine und Alexander

Very nice villa

Cas Carboner is a really pretty villa, set among lemon and orange trees and with great views of the countryside surrounding Soller. We were here at the end of the season and didn't have the best of weather unfortunately, but that is the risk when you stay in the mountains in October. I suspect that in better weather we would have given this villa 5 stars. Note that the location on the map is incorrect, it is about 600m SW of the pin on the map, on the other side of the main road (and note the one-way streets). Parking is at the sports centre nearby if you don't wish to go up the driveway, and Juana and Andres met us there. The large bowl of fruit and wine were much appreciated. We used the Eroski supermarket in town, which is a 5 minute drive each way. We did use our mosquito coils when sitting outside. Very nice and relaxing. We now have some gorgeous Majorcan marmalade made using the lemons from your garden! Thank you Juana!

Beautiful villa and surroundings!

Juana and Andres met us and welcomed us to the villa on arrival and showed us around the grounds. The villa was perfect for two people and was equipped with everything we needed. Everything was very clean and the shower was superb. Aircon worked very well and was very much needed in order to escape from the heat at times. However, the pool was always there to cool down in. There was no shock factor when taking a dip in the pool - it gets the sun all day so is a perfect temperature. The view is amazing and impossible to get bored of. Steady walk into town took 15-20 mins and the nearby restaurant Le Frontera takes 2-3 minutes - turn left at road from the rear entrance/exit of the villa. We spent a few leisurely lunches here, sampling typical mallorcan quisine at reasonable prices. However, don't get the sangria as it is surprisingly out of a bottle and is not particularly good. Taxi is 9 euros to Port de Soller and the tram is 7-8 euros each but try it at least once. We loved the ghekos around the villa that came out at night - they also ate the pesky mosquitos - make sure you keep the door shut all the time to keep them out of the villa (the mossies not the ghekos). This was definitely one of the nicest villas we have stayed in and would have loved to have spent another week there so do not hesitate to book your holiday here. Enjoy!!!

A beautiful little gem!

Cas Carboner was absolutely georgous and the owners extremely welcoming and helpful. The booking process was very straightforward and queries answered promptly via e-mail. The casita, inside and out, was exceptionally clean and had all you need for a fabulous stay. It definitely exceeded our expectations. The internal space was perfect for 2 adults or a small family and has a lovely traditional feel to it but is beautifully decorated and includes all mod cons. The outside space is something else, just amazing. Set in a large garden with many lemon and orange trees together with a few plum, peach and apple trees. The owners encourage you to pick and eat as much of the fruit as you like and there is certainly plenty of it. We had a constant supply of fresh orange juice, made by using the simple to use electric juicer in the kitchen, and more fruit than you could possibly get through. There is a wonderful covered terrace with a large table and 4 comfy dining chairs as well as 2 sunbeds and a large umbrella on the extensive terracing surrounding the fantastic pool. The views of the Tramuntana Mountains are amazing, even more so on the 1st floor roof terrace. The pool is kept spotlessly clean by Andres who comes around every couple of days to water the plants and check all is ok. He is very unobtrusive but it is nice to know someone is on hand should there be any problems. If you need to stay in touch with the 'real world' the Wi-Fi is excellent but don't waste too much time looking down at your screen, you don't know what you might miss!! We saw several Red Kite's overhead as well as a Booted Eagle and an Osprey and that was just whilst sitting on the patio! The location of the casita is perfect. A 15 minute pleasant, flat stroll takes you to the main square in Soller which has plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and a lovely laid back atmosphere. We also walked down to the Port which took approx 45 minutes by road or a little longer if you chose the more scenic country path. If you enjoy walking there are many more walks in the area to chose from. We hired a car from the airport but the vehicular access to the casita is very narrow so you may want to park on the road outside. This was never a problem to us and the parking is free and unlimited. All in all this is a wonderful place to stay and we would go back in a heartbeat. Wunderbarer Ort zum Relaxen

Wir können uns nur all den positiven Bewertungen anschließen. Das Häuschen ist sehr gepflegt, gemütlich und bestens ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind super freundlich. Der Garten mit all den Früchten, dem herrlichen Bergblick und dem Pool ist der Hammer. Die Lage am Ortsrand ist ruhig und und man kann Restaurants, Supermarkt usw. in ein paar Minuten fußläufig erreichen. Nach Port de Soller spaziert man ca. 40 Min. oder man fährt mit der urigen Bimmelbahn. Insgesamt in sehr schöner Aufenthalt.
