If your vacation is centered around exploring this unique area, you are within minutes of area activities and attractions. The East Entrance to Glacier Park is 15 minutes away, Many Glacier Valley is 20 minutes, Two Medicine Valley is an hour's scenic drive as is Waterton National Park in Canada. The Ranch is an ideal place to return to after a day of activity; to kick back, relax and plan your next day's adventure. If you prefer time to read, write, photograph or other more solitary pursuits, you will enjoy the space, privacy and inspiring natural ambience. Meadowlark Meadows is our newest addition. The interior is completely refurnished and comfortably decorated.

Centrally located for a variety of destinations and pursuits, this vacation home is spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. Each of our residences is personally and individually decorated so you will be in a comfortable home. The spacious kitchen is perfect for family meals and offers views of Glacier Park mountains. The living room includes a writing /computer work area. The master suite includes a large bathroom with double sinks, garden tub, and separate shower. The smaller bathroom has a tub/shower combo and single sink. In addition to the Master bedroom (with a California King bed), there is a bunkbed room decorated in boho-chic decor, and a bay- windowed bedroom dedicated to cowboys the owner grew up with. The on site washer/dryer provides an extra convenience. Scheduled service to your home is provided to allow you to enjoy your vacation..

A large deck off the front door offers mountain views of Glacier Park that are beyond belief and is a perfect place to dine, to start your day with morning coffee or to end your evening relaxing and viewing wildlife that inhabit the property. A large open field invites an evening stroll; equipment is on hand for outdoor games and activities. This is a plus for families traveling with children.

Adjacent wetland conservation area, Bird watching Activities. Complimentary for our guests: Private lakeshore cabin available for day use (located on Lower St Mary Lake, 20 minutes from the Ranch), just 5 minutes from Glacier Park. On a private lot, it's a perfect spot for a day of swimming, fishing, picnicking, BBQ-ing, relaxing. Fire Pit for roasting hot dogs, toasting marshmallows, making s'mores. A boat launch is available. If you are visiting Glacier for a few days and want to schedule a Day-at-the-Lake this would be perfect for family and friends. Reservations recommended.

It was okay. The problem is that it wasn’t clear that residence was a mobile home.

The trailer is old but in reasonably good shape. The property it’s on is beautiful. I just wish they had made it clear it was a mobile home. The other issue for travelers is that there are few if any alternatives on the east side of Glacier for a property with 3 BRs and 2 baths. The people were nice The kitchen was reasonably equipped. We ended up being glad to be on the east side of Glacier as the Road to the Sun was closed because of fires going up to Logan Pass. We could get to Logan because the east side was open. It would have been a two star if there was any alternatives.

great base-camp

Our group of 2 couples stayed in this home for 5 nights while exploring the east/Canadian side of Glacier NP. The location was perfect for the many glacier and waterton areas, and the ride to St. Mary's entrance wasn't bad either.

We got to meet the old ranch caretakers and the new ones during our stay. Both seemed very nice. The trailer is not fancy, but very functional. The kitchen has everything needed, and the gas grill worked well. We cooked all of our meals while staying here, and didn't have any issues. One thing is to buy groceries before getting there, Browning is the closest location with an okay grocery. We stocked up in Columbia Falls before driving over from the West side of the park.

I will say the king bed in the master bedroom is awful, and should absolutely be replaced. Its so worn out you just end up rolling into the middle. We actually ended up sleeping sideways to make it work a little better, still not good. I'm not a fussy sleeper, but this was bad.

Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the views around the area much because of the fires, until the very last day. Really some beautiful mountains right around the ranch. The animals on the property are very interesting, we enjoyed seeing them coming and going.

Overall this was a great spot for us, and worked out well for our trip.

Best place to stay outside of Glacier

This is the best place we have stayed outside of Glacier. We loved having seperate bedrooms for our adult children, a kitchen and more space to spread out. The place was very clean and comfortable. We loved watching the sunrise and sunset and seeing all of the wildlife that comes through the property. Gene was such a pleasure to talk to and so very helpful with everything. I understand this property will be under new management soon. I hope they keep the same standards.

Perfect location to visit the East side of Glacier NP and Waterton Lakes Provincial Park.

Secluded cabins located on a 160 acre ranch with friendly Llamas and Alpacas. Located minutes from the Many Glacier and St. Mary's entrances to Glacier National park and about 45 minutes from Waterton Lakes Provincial Park in Canada. While there, the meadows in front of our cabin were visited by a herd of Elk twice and daily by a pair of Sand Hill Cranes. The managers are very attentive and interesting to visit with regarding day to day life in northern Montana.

Amazing Views!

Our group consisted of 5 adults and a 5 year old. The porch was our favorite spot ... the views are out of this world! We had plenty of room in the house without feeling crowded. The kitchen was very spacious and well stocked. Very convenient to St. Mary's and Many Glacier Areas. Just remember to stock up on groceries and supplies before heading into Baab. We would highly recommend this home. Just wish we had more than 2 days.

Thank you Gene & Terri for greeting us upon our arrival. It made us feel very welcome.

When we had tire trouble Gene went the extra mile to assist. Beautiful views from deck. Convenient to Many Glacier and St Mary. Recommend this unit to a larger family or two couples with or without a few kids. Clean, comfortable and convenient.
