Take this easy walk on a non-busy street to tons of shops, antiques, boutiques, and great restaurants. For nightlife, there are several bars and pubs that stay open late.

We had a wonderful stay and truly cannot recommend this place highly enough. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and thoughtful, and it was clear that every detail had been carefully considered. The home itself was charming, spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. From start to finish, it was a fantastic experience, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Historic McKinney is so cute and nice with shops and restaurants and bars and just a clean overall small town feel even though big city next door. Family friendly for sure. Great for couple or girls getaway!

The home was so lovely and sweet. We could tell the owners had paid special attention to the comfort of the bedding in particular. It was clean, prettily decorated, and the owners were amazing communicators.

Great place in a quiet neighborhood, but close to downtown and great restaurants & shopping. The cottage had everything we needed. Very clean,Comfortable beds. Host was very responsive to any questions. Would stay here again.

Perfect little house for our trip to the downtown McKinney historic district. Fun area of town for browsing cute shops and eating delicious food. Kevin offered multiple ideas on where to eat and what to see! The house has been meticulously updated and redecorated…such attention to detail!! Loved our 3 nights here and even inquired about staying a couple of more nights. Unfortunately for us, the house was already booked for the next month! If you have the opportunity to rent this house, you won’t regret it

We hosted a family thanksgiving dinner in this absolutely adorable cottage. The week long stay was very comfortable and right priced. I will stay here again . The proximity to all the happenings on the town square is really nice as well.

The house is adorable, beautifully furnished and spotless. We had everything we needed for our trip to McKinney. It’s a very short walk to town, which we did at least a couple of times a day. We would definitely stay here again!!

Super charming property... Better than the pictures! Easy walking distance to downtown historic McKinney's restaurants and shops. Comfortable lush beds and a well-equipped kitchen. I had the chance to meet Kevin the owner and he was super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if returning to McKinney!

We had an amazing weekend! The home was spotless, comfortable, and very welcoming. This amazing lil cottage is just a couple of blocks from downtown McKinney, a spot with amazing restaurants and cute lil shops. Had to do some work in Princeton for a few days and this house was the PERFECT spot to relax and take it easy after a long day. The hosts were super helpful providing us with local guides and even some samples of the town's offerings!

The host had great communication. The location was in walking distance of several restaurants and shops. And the house had plenty of the amenities so we didn’t have to go to the store and buy extra stuff. And the location seemed to be in a safe neighborhood.

We travel extensively, couldn’t come up with one thing the owners hadn’t already thought of. The yard was exquisitely manicured and the interior had been tastefully decorated. We had everything we needed from a kitchen utensil standpoint for breakfast. They had a couple bottles of water in the fridge along with a basket of snacks. It’s a very easy 4 block walk to downtown. Had a couple of chance encounters with the owners who could not have been nicer. They live in the vicinity so even though we didn’t need them, they are very accessible. Both baths had dark washcloths marked for makeup removal, who does that?Our last 2 VRBO owners (Fla beach & McKinney) have definitely raised the bar from an expectations standpoint going forward. Rent from these owners with full confidence your expectations will be met!

We live in a house built in 1913 that we have refurbished. We opened our home to the public in 2022 for the Christmas Holiday Tour and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, so we wanted to do that again with this cottage.

We chose this neighborhood because we also live close-by and wanted to share with everyone all of what attracted us to the downtown area. There are tons of shops, restaurants, pubs, festivals, and nightlife to enjoy.

This property is extremely convenient to the downtown square, where there are festivals year-round. It is located 3 blocks due north of the square and is very walkable. The property also is on a quiet street.
