A Lively Downtown Setting

This apartment sits on Main Street in an 1880s brick building, right in the middle of everything Port Clinton has to offer. That location comes with energy and sound. Friday evenings in season bring open-air concerts on the street that run until around 11pm, and downtown is generally lively on summer weekends. If you're here for the nightlife, you have the best seat in town. If you need early quiet hours, this may not be the right fit—we'd rather tell you now than have you find out at check-in.

Parking

There is no private parking at the building. Free public street parking is available on Jefferson Street between 2nd and 3rd, about a two-minute walk from the door. Spots directly in front of the building are great for unloading, but overnight parking is restricted there, so plan to move to Jefferson for the night.

Our group of coaster enthusiasts traveled to the area for our Mecca, Cedar Point. The location of Port Clinton was close enough for an easy drive to the park. The town is quieter and more quaint than Sandusky and we liked that. The property was quiet, comfortable and clean.

This place was very clean and very conveniently located. I will say that it’s great for people that want to bar hop it’s excellent because there are a good amount in the area that are walking distance and you don’t have to order an uber. Thing only thing is I wish parking was more convenient. Over it is a great place and would stay again

Very nice stay, location was perfect for our trip for the Biggest Week in Birding at Magee Marsh. Beds were comfortable after being in the field all day. Nice to having a bath and a half for getting everyone out the door early. There were also convenient places to eat within walking distance.

The place was easy and very accessible. The check in was so easy and we got in and out of the place when we wanted. We had an issue that was resolved and more than compensated for the trouble it cost, because the renter was easy to reach and handled things while we continue to fish n play.

We stayed at Heron’s Perch for my son’s birthday weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and perfectly quiet, everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were incredible, with excellent communication from start to finish, which made everything so easy. It’s clear they put a lot of care into making their guests feel welcome. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back on our next trip to the Port Clinton area!

Our stay at Heron’s Perch was perfect. The location is excellent, rooms were nicely decorated, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed Port Clinton on one day and Put in Bay the next. It was so easy to walk to and from the Jet Express. We were suprised that the half bath was outside the apartment but it was right outside and no one else used it so it was fine. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the Lake Erie Islands!

Everything about our stay was good and there was no trouble communicating with the host. The only thing I didn't like was that the 1/2 bath is not actually inside the apartment but instead in a hallway that others can access so we didn't use it. All the beds and furniture was super comfy. The decor was super cute
